Level one swordsman.

"So can you still sense it"A gentle voice said into Shane's ears as he gave a small nod.

"Then try to call it in,as gently as you can"Shane did as told as he urged the particles which moved towards him but got bounced away from him when they were lesser than an inch from him.

He slowly opened his eyes as he stared at his mum.

"It's still not working"Shane said with a sign.

"It will one day."

Even though it was pretty clear Shane had no talent for dimensional energy in him.His mother always insist on the meditation and trying to sense as much as he can and also try to absorb every single day.

"Activate Stage Two"She said to the room's AI as the virtual green grass on the ground slowly opened up.A Six armed human shaped mechanical robot with Six katanas slowly emerged from the ground.

In the world where power almost means all.Next to dimensional energy talent was combat strength.

That was why his Second every day training was fighting the robot.Since he had no dimensional energy in him and only possess the body of a regular human.

He knew he could never win in a battle of physical strength with a person with an ability, so he was trained by his mother in the way of weapons.

A katana was given to Shane by his mother as he clenched it in both hands and prepared for the battle with the robot.

"Training section begins in three seconds"

"3.2.1 Go"

A red dot appeared in the eyes of the robot as it dashed towards Shane with speed.

A blade was raised above Shane as it slashed downwards on his head, but it was quickly blocked by Shane who raised his katana in the last second effectively blocking the strike, but he could feel himself being pressed into the ground.

Two blades moved towards the side of his ribs with speed as even though he was blocking a strike from the puppet above,it had six arms and could still attack him.

He gently bent the sword,as the blade slid away from him, while he rapidly moved back avoiding the two side attacks.

A blade pierced towards his stomach as he immediately shifted to the left dodging the strike while immediately slashing his sword upwards as a clang sound was heard blocking another attack from the robot.A wave of attack was already moving towards Shane from the robot as constant clashing sounds rang out in the training hall from the collisions.

It's been almost 30 minutes since he's been fighting the robot but not a single droplet of sweat appeared on his face as he wasn't exhausted at all.It didn't mean the fight was simple as on the contrary,he has always been on defense against the robot's attack but although Shane had no dimensional energy in him.He had something Unique only to him and that was his energy.

He could run the distance that made someone his age sweat buckets with only a single droplet of sweat. This was something unique only to him,an abnormal amount of energy.

Shane has been cornered by the robot to a wall,as it suddenly slashed all the blades towards him.Stepping on the ground,he was thrown into the air as he did a back flip and landed horizontally on the wall. All the robot's blade has been avoided by him jumping up as Shane saw the robot was wide open.

A gleam shone in his eyes as he saw a rare chance. His eyes closed as he sucked in a breadth, his heart beating slowly within him.Shane suddenly snapped his eyes open before him,as he felt the world around him slow down a little.Exerting force on his legs,he jumped from the wall as his katana moved an inch from it's sheath.

A blade light flashed in the training ground as Shane gently landed on the ground, white smoke puffing out from his mouth. As he inserted the katana back into the sheath.

A beautifully smooth line appeared on the robot's neck,as it's head dropped with a bang on the training ground.

"A notification beeped in the room"

"Congratulations for defeating the prototype of the six armed robot."

"You are now a Level one swordsman."

A smile appeared on Shane's face when he heard the notification.

As they are Level to abilities. They are also levels to Weapon cultivation.Since they are thousands of aspects in dimensional energy, they are also aspects in weapon fighting as some people might awaken an ability to learn bladed weapons faster than normal. This type of people are called weapon masters.

A level one swordsman can be said to be one at the peak of his natural talent and ready to absorb a monster core.

Since the presence of dimensional energy in the body means someone's origin talent. Then the presence of dimensional energy in the body will lead to a minor enhancement of the physical abilities.

A level one swordsman is one who was already at the peak of his latent talent and has his bodily abilities increased by the dimensional energy but hasn't really fused with a monster core yet.

And now after three years of training,Shane had arrived at the level.Allthough three years of practice wasn't needed by a weapon master as they only need to increase the dimensional energy in them and their weapon comprehension will grow with that too.But not Shane,as he couldn't absorb dimensional energy.

Even though he was now a level one swordsman after three years of training,to become a level two swordsman will take more than double that number. But those who can absorb dimensional energy will immediately progress to Level 2 as they'll quickly absorb a monster Core and advance.By the time Shane become a level 2, they'll probably have reach level 4 or even 5,so he knew he couldn't keep this going. His only choice of a successful future is steering clear from the combat area, and leaning more towards the educational faculty.

"Seems you're finally at the same level as one with a dimensional energy"a voice said from behind him as Diana could be seen clapping her hands while a small smile was present on her face.

"That was after three years of relentless practice, mum."Shane replied with a sad smile.

His peers were already at this stage six years ago while he just started his. That means he was lagging behind by his peers with six years and he'll probably be left in the dust soon.It wasn't really as great as his mum was putting it.

"Well something is better than nothing, and hey,it was a good start".His mother said with a reassuring smile.

"Now that I remember, your father asked me to show you something when you become a Level one swordsman."His mother said.

"And what is that"Vather asked as his mother never really mentioned much about his father to him except when absolutely needed.Hearig his Father left something for him was a first in 13 years.

"I don't know what it is too but I know the location. You know he owned the puppet himself and gave me a box to give to you if you can defeat it.But I don't think he would have considered your ability to defeat the robot without an once of dimensional energy. You should be proud of yourself Shane."Diana said as she slowly moved out of the training hall,Shane trailing behind her with hope.

A hope even he wasn't sure what he wanted it to be but if anything, was to enable him absorb dimensional energy once again.
