I see a best seller in this book. It's arc is different from most stories on the app who just repeats storylines, captivating characters, doesn't drag on and has exciting face smacking scenes. nice one

Chapter 1
A figure of 193 cm stood nervously in the elevator, gripping a slightly soaked package nervously. This person was none other than Dillon Grendel, a wretched orphan and delivery boy of a big company called Phantom Delivery. His expectation was to get a huge tip from whoever owned the package due to the person having a room in Free Desire hotel. A hotel he often heard his roommates talk about. According to them, a night in it ranged from $20,000 to $100,000. Unfortunately, he doubted the owner would be pleased to get his package soaked. It wasn't his fault as it had rained the night before which left numerous muddy water bodies and potholes all around the road. He had fallen into an inconspicuous pothole which left his delivery uniform muddy and the package soaked. The elevator soon came to a stop and slid open. Hesitantly, he poked his head inside the room which was ajar only to see there was an ongoing party. He wasn't a fan of parties as he'd rather be working to earn money for

Chapter 2
The next time Dillon opened his eyes, a shrill scream escaped his lungs as he summoned all the strength in him to leap out of the way of an oncoming vehicle. His eyes rolled back into his head as he struggled to get up. Getting a grip of himself, he realized a lot of people had their eyes on him. Dillon didn't need anyone to tell him he had been brought to the middle of a highway where hundreds of cars passed every ten minutes by James and his friends. Holding his throbbing head, he found his way to Phantom Delivery. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" A security personnel asked Dillon when he tried to walk into the building. "Dillon Grendel, a delivery guy." Dillon introduced himself, taking out the ID from his pocket to show the man. The security personnel signed a little. Walking towards him, he took out something from his pocket and extended it towards Dillon. "Where have you been, Dillon? You've been missing for three days and you've unfortunately been fired by the

Chapter 3
Dillon whirled around to see a neatly dressed man in a black tuxedo. His hair which was relaxed stunned Dillon as it was black and shiny. This man looked no less than 50, but thanks to how good he had taken care of himself, he still walked and looked agile. Young Master? The power he felt minutes ago left him as he got overwhelmed with extreme fear. He looked at the elderly man and the elderly man looked at him, none saying a word. After a while, Dillon bolted. However, he was surprised to see he hadn't gotten far despite the fact his feet seemed to be moving. Glancing down, he realized he was stuck to the same spot as before. What was happening?"I'm sorry, sir. I had no idea they were your children. Punish me, beat me up, but don't take me to the cops as I have no money to bail myself." Dillon pleaded desperately. This man was a part of a wealthy family as well. Of course it made sense that he had his own ability as well. And if that was the case, then he, Dillon, was screwed.

Chapter 4
Dillon hadn't gotten far when he decided to stop and glance behind him. Just in time, he caught sight of Brayden walking towards a maybach. He looked away before Brayden caught him looking. A million and one thing on his mind. He lowered his eyes to the black card and tightened his grip on it. Gulping down nervously, he thought, 'Could that man really not be a con-man? And does it mean this bank card is real and I'm really the heir to a family called the Grendel?' As those questions threw him into confusion, he felt a light tap on his shoulder and flinched. Hiding the card behind him, he turned to see who it was. "Mr. Darren, are you back to take your card?" Dillon asked hesitantly, but Brayden merely smiled. There was a thunderclap before there was a heavy downpour. Brayden quickly took out an umbrella and held it above Dillon while he was beaten by the rain. This action stunned Dillon and for a moment, he was left speechless. "Young master, I presume you're ready for us to ta

Chapter 5
Dillon alighted from the maybach a few meters away from Yale University. The day was monday, which meant a lot of students were in school. He hurried over to his dormitory, but a student was quick to spot him. Unknown to him, the whole school knew what transpired between him and James as a student had live streamed the entire thing. "I expected to see him limping. I thought James broke a few of his bones?" "He's putting on a charade, I was right there at the party and saw how badly beaten he was." Dillon increased the pace of his legs unable to withstand their chattering. However, before he got to his dormitory, a hand reached out and pulled him into an empty hall. Dillon placed a hand on his chest in relief seeing the person was none other than Merlin Wright, his best friend. The relief on his face disappeared when he caught sight of the bat Merlin held. "For any reason, you wouldn't swing that at me, right?" Dillon asked, taking two steps backward. Merlin raised a brow as he

The living room was opulent and there was no doubt it belonged to an upper class family. Nestled amidst the extravagant surroundings, an aged man in his early 70s sat in a comfortable wheelchair, his wisps of silver hair contrasting against a backdrop of plush velvet cushions. Despite his age, he emanated an aura of dignity and wisdom, his weathered face marked with the lines of a life well-lived.In his lap, the man gently cradled a watering can, its gleaming silver surface glinting in the soft illumination. He leaned forward to delicately sprinkle water upon the lush, verdant houseplants that thrived in their opulent pots.As the man continued to water the houseplants, a serene ambiance filled the room. This serene ambiance was interrupted when a tall man walked into the living room. The elderly man didn't pay attention to this figure for more than twenty minutes until he was done watering his houseplants. "Senior Mr. Grendel, I found him!" This person was no other than Brayden D

The boy, who appeared to be no older than ten, clenched his teeth angrily as he glared at the man before him."What is going on? What did the kid do?" A bystander asked. "That kid dared to crush Moses Lake's golf ball simply because it hit him." Another person responded."He did? Tsk, then he's an insolent brat who deserves whatever he's going through!" A passerby chimed in. Dillon and Merlin listened to the conversation going on within the crowd and exchanged concerned looks. They noticed a basket filled with golf balls and markings on the road, indicating that Moses Lake had been playing golf there. Although the road was temporarily closed for construction, it was not intended to be used as a golf course by some arrogant bastardDillon had no idea who this Moses guy was, but he knew a rude and vile person when he saw them. Ignoring the ongoing chatter, Moses took another golf ball from someone nearby and placed it on the road, preparing to swing his club. He was a professional a

Dillon was dumbfounded. Did this boy's iris just turn to a darker shade of blue? Like mine? Moses was obviously angered by Timothy's words as he threateningly hit his golf club on the floor as he affirmed, “Since you three have a death wish, I'll grant it. After all, it's an honor to be killed by me.” He nodded at the group of men who had alighted from the boss. With their club, the men advanced towards Dillon, Timothy, and Merlin. Dillon quickly snapped out of his thought and glanced towards the men. The first person raised his club to hit Timothy, but Dillon reached out in time to stop him. With darkened eyes, he hissed, “No matter what, you should never hit kids with such tenacity!”Then he sent the thug flying towards the bus he came with. Such a show of strength stunned the rest of them, but when they thought of the advantage they had against Dillon and Merlin, they kept advancing towards them. Timothy, on the other hand, was prepared to take out anyone headed towards him, b

“I'll relay your message, young master.” Brayden nodded with a bow. “I noticed you got here in a taxi. I'd love to deliver any car of your choice to you. You just have to tell me which of them you want.” Dillon leaned forward and raised two fingers, “I want two cars. A Bugatti Veyron and a Jaguar XJ220. Deliver the Jaguar as soon as possible.” Brayden, who had taken out his phone to write down the cars Dillon called, paused and glanced up at Dillon. “Young master, the Jaguar you mentioned isn't an expensive car. Are you sure you don't mean to imply something else?” “The Jaguar is extremely fast and sleek, and it sells for a little amount compared to the rest of it. Besides, I'll be taking it with me wherever I go and since I would rather not be the center of attention by pulling up in a car worth more than ten million dollars, the Jaguar is a perfect fit.” Dillon calmly explained the reason for his choice. Brayden found it reasonable, so he nodded. “Noted, young master. What colo

The restaurant was a luxurious one which was often frequented by wealthy people. When the people inside saw this group walk in, they just concluded they were someone's bodyguard. But because of how scary the boss looked, they once again concluded that whoever they were guarding must be someone powerful. “I didn't know the restaurant would be receiving an important figure today. Who could it be?” “Where's the lobby manager? The lobby manager should know who he is.” Two people whispered to themselves. Suddenly, someone took in a deep breath when the group of people got into the elevator. “The one with the knife cuts on his face who looks very scary is the head of a notorious gang here in New York. They call him Rafter. But his real name is Joel Maximus.” His words sent fear into the spines of numerous people and one by one, they all returned to their seats. Everyone knew Joel Maximus. He was a hound dog for the rich and powerful. He was responsible for taking care of and commutin
