Chapter 6: Professional Attitudes

Ashton, who received the stern sentence, felt challenged immediately, especially when Valerie made him lose his sentence. Ashton wanted to complete the system assignment as his work, but if he needed his medical licence, attending the university as a student was still necessary.

"She got a move! It will be interesting to see how she will teach me. Maybe spending some time on campus won't be so bad." Ashton shrugged his shoulders and left the restaurant.

Ashton stopped the taxi and went to the Kensington Area; he needed a place to rest tonight.

The Kensington Area is well known in London as an elite residence inhabited by the super-rich. Anyone who can enter there must have an identity that is not simple.

"Sir, can I help you?" Ashton, who had just exited the taxi, was immediately greeted by a security guard.

Ashton didn't answer immediately as his gaze was drawn to the large gate behind the two security guards in front of him.

Ashton only saw a large gate like a palace with magnificent European architecture. Unfortunately, from the outside, you can't see anything behind the big gate.

The guards who saw Ashton's expression exchanged glances. They could see the reaction of the poor man who saw the huge gate for the first time.

"Oh, sorry, I just want to go in and live there," Ashton said with a smile.

The two guards were in disbelief, feeling like fools after hearing Ashton's words that sounded funny to their ears.

The two securities wanted to send Ashton away immediately, as they thought he might be lost. But after hearing Ashton's words, they were convinced that the man in front of them was hallucinating.

"Sir, please don't joke around. This place is not open to the public. So if you don't want to, please leave." Although the two were eager to eliminate Ashton, they still did their job by being polite and professional.

Ashton understood the two guards' hesitation, but he was a little thankful that he didn't encounter a security guard who would immediately kick out someone like him.

"Please wait a moment; I'll show you something." Ashton put his hands into his trouser pockets. But at the same time, he took something from the system inventory.

A black card was in Ashton's hand, and he gave it to the security guard. "Can you recognise this?"

It's a special card that only owners of the Kensington Area have.

"May we have a better look?" The two security guards instantly recognised the unusual card no one could have.

The two security guards broke out in a cold sweat. They didn't expect to meet the new owners of the Kensington Area.

"Welcome, sir; we really don't know and are just doing our job properly," the security guard said.

"Good! Now that you know, can I come in?" Ashton repeated his words.

The two security guards eventually changed their behaviour by being more obedient. They immediately opened the entrance gate for Ashton to pass through.

Ashton walked politely; he found ten elite mansions that were so magnificent. The best one was the main mansion.

"What a marvellous place; I didn't expect to have such a good place someday." Ashton nodded in satisfaction. But his attention had to be diverted when his mobile phone rang, and an unfamiliar number appeared on the screen.

"Hello!" replied Ashton lightly; he didn't know about the calling party.

"I'm sorry, is this Mr Myers?" someone said to confirm something.

"Right with myself," Ashton replied.

"I'm sorry in advance. Mr Myers, I am the real estate agent of Mansion Kensington. Let's talk about some official and legal documents regarding your property assets," the party said politely.

"Ah, okay. Since I am now directly in the Kensington, then please come anytime. I'll happily take care of it," Ashton replied casually.

Since they were already there, the estate agent agreed and prepared to meet in the Kensington Area. When Ashton entered his mansion, he was immediately greeted by two people from the estate agent.

"Welcome," The two estate agents at the door bowed cordially.

"Sir, your journey must have been tiring. Let's go inside, and we can go over some legal documents more comfortably," the middle-aged man said to Ashton in a friendly voice.

"Alright." Ashton nodded.

"Hmm..." However, Ashton looked surprised when he looked at the girl near the middle-aged man.

The girl was aware of Ashton's gaze, so she responded with a polite gesture and a sweet smile.

"Wait a second, I seem to recognise that girl. If I'm not mistaken, her name is Zara Monroe. Yes, I'm sure it's Zara. She was a notoriously hot girl in college," Ashton mumbled, remembering a few things.

The girl who greeted Ashton was also a student from the same year as him. Perhaps because Ashton didn't attend University in the past year, he didn't know what Zara was doing.

Zara was A beautiful girl among some of the top beauties at the University. However, they don't know each other at all. Ashton has a simple life and does not stand out on campus.

It was in contrast to Zara, who had many admirers chasing her at university. One of the incidents that Ashton remembers the most was when a rich man's son drove a Ferrari with fancy flowers to woo Zara, only to get rejected.

From then on, no one was confident to be Zara's pursuer anymore. Even wealthy men get rejected, let alone poor men like Ashton.

"I never expected to see Zara working as an estate agent," Ashton muttered.

Ashton thought to himself. Ashton is currently not short of money and will earn a lot if he completes tasks from the system.

Of course, all beautiful girls comparable to Zara will be easy to get as long as they have a lot of money, but Ashton doesn't know what Zara is thinking right now if a rich man wants to approach her.

"Perhaps the reason why many people like Zara is because she is not interested in money."

Ashton shook his head. That man shouldn't care about the gossip at the university; he should also focus on his current condition.

[RING! A new mission is available. You must help Zara out of her predicament.]

Ashton was pensive when he saw the system panel and the tasks the system gave him. Besides, he never knew that Zara had difficulties that no one else knew about.
