A Mistake

“Careful…” Ethan cautioned Erin who stepped on the accelerator speeding toward Jonathan’s car which was already on the road.

“You are going to alert him this way.” He continued to caution her and she nodded, slowing down the car. They were two cars behind Jonathan’s now and anytime they were about to lose him, Erin would speed.

Soon, Jonathan drove to a silent residence. “Where do you think he is headed? This looks like a normal place to me?” Erin was confused.

“Yeah, I think something is fishy. Stay a few miles away from him and let’s be patient.” Now, there were no cars between them and Jonathan was likely to notice them if they moved too closely.

Erin stopped the car five houses away from Jonathan and he stopped his car as well.

He went into a small bungalow and though it was already so dark, ten minutes later, they saw him carrying a suitcase and walking out of the house.

“What is that bastard planning to do? What is in that suitcase?” Erin banged the steering wheel impatientl
