The Chief

Erin walked into the police station eager to lay her message across to her teammates so they could set off quickly.

She walked up to her desk and she was immediately stopped by her colleague.

“The chief wants to see you.” She was informed and Erin’s face contorted. Ever since her last raid in Gas Arc, she had not gone to give a report to the police head.

“He seems pretty angry, so you should tread carefully.”

“Alright.” Erin let out a sigh and then glanced at her teammates who were looking at her. She had already texted them and they knew they had a task incoming.

She told them she would be back and then went to see the chief. None of her teammates knew what she knew about the police head. How he had always helped those criminals at the human trafficking ring.

Knock!

Knock!!

“Come in.” The chief gruff voice resounded from the office. Erin opened the door to see that he was just crushing a cigarette butt in his ash’s tray.
