Chapter 17: The dream and the Truth

“Damn it!!!” Kent shouted loudly, he closed his eyes at his grim fate. His ankle ached from being gripped by the monster below.

Kent thought he would have a terrible landing or fall directly into the loving arms of that monster, but things did not go as he intended.

For some reason, Kent felt like his body was floating in the air and his hand was being squeezed by a huge force. Kent opened his eyes and saw a girl about his age. And she was trying to hold onto his arm. The girl rolled her eyes and shouted: "What are you waiting for, if you don't step up here?"

Kent hastily crawled out of the well with the help of the strange girl. Kent was just about to poke his head into the well to find the monster that was chasing him when suddenly the girl stopped him. She glared at him smugly and extremely annoyed: “Want to go down again?”
