Davin sat at the dinning table, a half-finished cup of coffee in front of him, flipping through a stack of paperwork from work. The morning sun streamed through the window, casting a warm glow, but a sense of unease gnawed at him. Just then, Helen burst into the room, her face a mix of urgency and concern.

“They didn’t give me all the details, just that she needs immediate treatment,” Helen replied, her eyes brimming with concern. “They’re arranging a private jet to get her to the mainland for the best care.”
