Chapter Eighty-Three
“James Livingston, Jason's younger brother.”

“Mother! Another Livingston? I think Jason’s death was traumatizing enough and now you want me to date his younger brother?” May grumbled.

“It would be fine. It may spring up some rumors but when the relationship starts to bloom, the rumors will die out.” Clara assured.

“Fine” May sighed. “I will meet him but that will have to be later. I already have a project that will demand my utmost attention. I would rather not have a Livingston distracting that.” May said and Clara smiled at her.

“Alright then, you can go to bed. You must have been very tired from that meeting.” Clara said, letting go of her daughter’s arm. May walked out of the dining room straight for her bedroom. She needed to be alone.

The next day at Asher’s group and company, Mandy was in her office when the door flew open and her secretary walked in looking like she had run a cross country race.
