CHAPTER 99

“Young man, if you ever see tomorrow’s sun again, you will be very fortunate to live a long life on this earth. You’ve made a grave mistake in your life,” Mr Chacha said to the officer who without looking at him, shoved him out of the car.

“Chief,” came the voice of the police station commander, who was saluting Mr Chacha respectfully as he emerged from the station to head in Chacha’s direction.

He was shocked to see the old man handcuffed, but Mr Chacha didn’t respond. The chief had to unlock the cuffs himself, knowing very well who the man before him was.

“Is this how you train your men to be? undisciplined in their work?” Mr Chacha asked in a deep, grating voice as he was briefly restrained.

The officers and the one who had ordered Chacha’s arrest were astonished by the unfolding events and realized that he was a very high-ranking official in the country. They were deeply afraid.

“Bang!” The sound of a gunshot rang out as Mr Chacha
