Chapter nine

"... I have your girlfriend…"

Those words struck Oliver like steel. He gazed at the email for some time, puzzled by the mafia's guts and audacity.

But Geena was alive, and that was a good thing. All that Oliver needed to do was go get her. Another email soon followed and it contained a phone number.

Oliver dialed the number and it barely rang before someone picked up the phone.

"I wasn't sure you'd call me back, Oliver Blaze. I've heard that you are quite stubborn," the Mafia said to Oliver.

When Oliver heard the voice, his mind was taken back to so many memories. He immediately recognized the voice for he had heard the Mafia arguing with his father one time.

"Where's Geena? Where is my girlfriend?" Oliver asked the mafia.

"She is safe. For now. You know, my men pulled her out of the car just before the explosion. You were not the only one who had eyes on the hooded man…" the mafia said to Oliver and he knew what that meant.
