Bug

That man walked into the house and sat down in one of the chairs and looked at Paul rather annoyed.

"So you're the one who hacked the game?"

The black haired boy was surprised to hear that, he didn't know why he was being accused of that, so he answered him.

"I didn't hack anything, well I cheated at first and already the game punished me".

"And that money you spent?"

Paul got nervous and answered him all at once.

"Well, I got engaged to a girl in the game. She died, and I inherited all that money, that was it, I didn't steal anything."

"Things like that alter the game, you were given a lot of money. The role you were assigned is that of a blacksmith's son, very little energy. You must spend more years than the rest, it's quite unusual. Most people have more luck in this game, but still. There are rules here."

Paul was a little annoyed to hear that.

"Why did the game give me this role?"

"Someone had to get it. Everyone can't be rich, but in your case it's pretty strange. How did you get this game? You know this is for adults? Apparently you got in with some kind of trap. The game is still in development, and situations like yours are under study. An order must be maintained, and you changed a lot of things. That you die and stay in the game is not a problem, but apparently you changed and made the game a bit more active. You will not be punished for now, while the error is being reviewed.

The man got up from his chair and put on his hat, he didn't say anything else, he looked very serious. He looked like a policeman, like in The Real World.

Paul, he felt very uneasy. This was one of the administrators, and he knew that if he showed up again. He would most likely be punished with death. So he decided to avoid being the center of attention. Since he was being watched.

Paul returned to his parents' house and went to where his family was. They were still waiting for him, apparently something had happened.

His mother, who was a simple housewife, told him the news.

"The prince sent a small amount of money as condolences for the death of the master of the house."

Paul received the money, and the system at once put it away.

<< Five million coins>>

For Paul, it was very little, but at least with that he would pay for some of the things he had to buy. Upon receiving it, he tried to talk to that woman, since he was not sure she could understand, nor interact like a normal person.

"We are going to another house, much better."

The woman surprisingly reacted a little shocked, she didn't answer him, but went to a room to get her things.

The black-haired boy went to where the woman was headed and noticed that she started to pack some things. Paul knew he could have a somewhat normal conversation with the people in the game. So he didn't have to worry too much about that.

When he saw her, he decided to leave the room and just wait in the living room for the whole family to get organized and move in like another normal person.

[...]

Two days passed and Paul's whole family was already in their new house. Now he had to go back to school, he had to complete the mission of standing out there.

As he pulled into Jared Ackerman's driveway, he noticed that everything had been completely fixed up. The structure was as if nothing had happened there. The students were the same. Paul tried to walk to his classroom without looking back or worrying about anything. However, he saw that several of the students were missing from that classroom, and when he got to the classroom he noticed that there were about twenty people missing.

He sat quietly in the amphitheater classroom at the top and saw that no teacher had arrived. It was strange for him, but he knew that the game had some changes.

He leaned back on the table and waited for the teacher to arrive, but was surprised when he saw a woman open the door. She was about twenty-five or so. She was beautiful, with long blonde hair, somewhat voluptuous and had a white robe.

Paul felt somewhat intimidated by the woman's details. He thought she was a real person, but in a matter of seconds he concluded that she was just another programmed person, so he didn't worry too much about her. He just watched what the woman was doing on the board. She seemed to be writing something about her class.

The black-haired boy didn't have a notebook or anything to write with, since he thought they weren't doing anything important that day. Seeing that he had nothing to do, he took his wand and cast a little spell.

"Pencil and paper."

In a matter of seconds, he already had those two objects on his desk. So he was calm. However, that little spell had left all the people in the room a little uncomfortable.

The woman and several of his classmates were watching him rather annoyed. Paul didn't understand why everyone was looking at him like that. He felt a little uncomfortable and avoided looking at the people in front of him. He didn't understand why they were so upset with him.

The teacher continued to write on the board several things, and added the use of magic.

<<No magic allowed in the classroom without permission>>.

<<No eating or talking allowed>>>.

<<My name is Irene Sandoval>>

<<The class is history and magic control>>.

After reading this, Paul understood why the woman had been angry with him, so he decided not to worry about anything else. He just stayed silent. Until the woman spoke, for the first time.

"Good morning," "My name is Irene Sandoval, I will be your history teacher. The school decided to change and put more teachers, so I will teach you that subject from today. Magic comes from thousands of years ago, and it was all thanks to the elves who joined with some men and that's why many people today have magic."

Paul started to fall asleep with the explanation. He felt that the best thing to do was to read books, since the game immediately registered it in the player's information. Listening to that woman made him very sleepy, he felt he was in the real world. Slowly, he began to close his eyes.

[...]

Paul woke up almost two hours later, his classmates were gone, only the teacher was there in the classroom writing some things in a notebook. He tried to get up and ran to the stairs, he didn't understand why he was so tired, if it was a game, and he hadn't felt like that for a long time. From one moment to the next, he started to roll down the stairs until he fell on the first step. He tried to get up from the floor and saw that woman approaching.

"......"

The black haired boy got up from the floor and tried to apologize.

"I'm sorry I fell asleep, it won't happen again."

"Don't worry, but the best thing you can do is go to your next class."

"Ah... It was nice talking to you."

He turned his back to that woman and ran off. Until she spoke to him.

"Why do you know so many spells?"

He paused, it felt a little strange to hear that question, he felt it was too natural for a person who was programmed. Paul looked at her and walked over to her.

"Are you a gamer?"

"What is a gamer" She asked.

Paul, hearing her, felt nervous and tried to change the conversation, he didn't want to change upset her, or seem weird, by asking her something she didn't understand.

"I mean, have you ever participated in the magic games?

She became a little calmer and answered him in a calmer manner.

"Yes, I am related to the royal family, I handle quite a bit of magic."

Paul didn't know what to tell her, I was obliged to continue the conversation so as not to provoke a misunderstanding because of the question she previously asked me.

"I see, you can teach me how to have more magic."

"Have more magic?"

Paul knew it was impossible, so he was calm, he had already completely deflected the question, but she answered him in a slightly peculiar way.

"You can have more magic, but that something difficult, you need some magic."

The black-haired boy was surprised to hear what the woman was saying. He didn't hold back and moved a little closer to her.

"How much, what level do I need?"

"You're too close."

"Uh... I'm sorry."

"You need to get to level 40, for now your magic ability will gradually go up."

Paul was shocked to hear that. He understood that not everything was in books and that he could learn by talking to people. He unknowingly grabbed her hands and made her even more uncomfortable.

"Thank you" she said and ran out of the Amphitheater in an unknown direction.

However, his action created even more problems than he thought. The woman grabbed her head and began to feel strange. However, the game immediately intervened and made her return to her programming. Just as Paul thought she was a player, but she had died in this game, so she had to assume the role she had been given.
