You'll Always Be my Brother

The large amount of mana rushed into his body quickly filling up the space in his mana core. Elijah smiled satisfactorily as he observed his body. There were no changes except for the fact that he had broken through.

Closing his eyes once again, Elijah circulated the mana in his body, but this time, he was more proficient in doing it and thus wasn't exhausted as quickly as the first time.

After a while, Elijah stopped and opened his eyes, this time there were two figures by his bedside looking exactly like him with no difference. At the moment he understood something, it looked like the higher his Realm, the higher the number of clones he would be able to create.

As for the time he would be able to keep them, he couldn't say. But then he was going to test it out, it would be better that way.

"Master!"

The two figures bowed immediately and Elijah looked at them.

"Sit down and cultivate," Elijah ordered.

He figured out that since the two clones called him master, they were supposed to listen to his command.

And just as he had expected, the clones nodded, sat down, cross-legged, and immediately started to absorb the surrounding Mana.

Elijah looked at the two clones curiously as they cultivated. This clone magic was pretty interesting, he could order the clones to do something. He didn't have to do everything himself.

In a flash, an hour flashed by, and just as Elijah had expected, the two clones dispersed with a low puffing sound.

Next, a stream of mana rushed into his body as the improvement in Cultivation they had was all fed back to him. The space in his mana core expanded a little as the mana settled in.

Just as Elijah was about to sit and create more clones, his stomach suddenly growled loudly. At that time, it hit him that he had not eaten since the day before.

Because of the excitement of the awakening ceremony, he had forgotten all about food, coupled with the fact that he awakened the clone ability, he was a little bit displeased and was figuring it out.

Elijah sighed and stood up from the bed walking out of his room. Getting to the living room, he saw his sister sitting on the sofa with a blank expression.

At the moment, he was overwhelmed with a barrage of emotions, back on earth, he was an orphan and didn't have anyone to care for him. Suddenly seeing his sister like that made him feel guilty as he knew that his words had been too harsh earlier.

"Elijah!" Emily's voice came just as Elijah was about to say something.

"Sister....."

"Don't worry Elijah, no matter what ability you awaken, you'll always be my dear brother. I won't allow anyone to look down on you." Emily cut off Elijah as she pulled him into an embrace.

It was unknown when she had gotten to his front. But at the moment, Elijah couldn't care less about all these and just enjoyed his sister's warm embrace.

"Don't worry Elijah, you can still cultivate your body and become a warrior. You're not useless and you would never be useless."

"I'll always protect you as long as I live." Emily sighed as she disengaged from the hug and looked at Elijah.

Elijah couldn't help but nod as he swallowed back what he wanted to say.

"Here," Emily said as she gave Elijah a body tempering technique book.

"Thanks, sis," Elijah muttered as he collected the book from his sister.

"Sister, do you have a spell for other abilities?" Elijah mustered up his courage and asked.

"What do you want to do with it?" Emily asked, feeling a little bit shocked in her heart.

"I want to..." Elijah shuttered as he didn't know what to say. He couldn't tell her that he was trying to see if he could master it, right?

"Don't worry Elijah, I have a high-level fire spell of the earth grade" Emily replied and brought out another little book giving it to Elijah.

She could understand that he was just trying to see if he could use them out of desperation. But reality was cruel and she knew quite well that he wouldn't be able to use it. But still, she gave it to him.

After all, he was her brother and she couldn't bear to see him sad. Ever since their parents disappeared, she had vowed to do all in her power to keep her brother safe and happy.

"Thanks, sis," Elijah muttered as he collected the book.

"Come on and eat something, you've not eaten anything since yesterday." Emily smiled as she dragged Elijah to the dining table. She could hear the low grumbling of his stomach.

"But it's just..."

"Elijah, it's already midnight, I'm afraid you'll collapse if you don't eat." Emily interrupted Elijah and forced him to take a seat.

"Midnight?" Elijah muttered in shock as he looked at his sister.

Seemed like he had lost track of time when he was cultivating. Suppressing his shock, he sat and ate the food his sister had prepared for him.

"Sister, I'll be heading back to my room." Elijah stood up right after he finished eating, heading back to his room.

"Alright Elijah, don't take it too hard on yourself alright?" Emily forced a smile as she looked at Elijah heading to his room.

"Besides, make sure to tell me if any of the teachers or principals try to bully you." Emily continued.

"Alright sis," Elijah muttered as he disappeared into his room.

Emily sighed as she looked around, she could understand how he felt as she knew how it felt to disappoint everyone who had been looking up to you.

Elijah was her brother, and she couldn't care less about which ability he awoke, if anyone tried to mess with him, they would have to face her wrath first.

Seemed like she was going to have to chat a little with the principal of the school before she went back to the university, so he wouldn't think of expelling her brother.

Thinking about this, she walked back to her room, the expression on her face extremely determined.
