It was the weekend and Derick has been at home since the day of the dance. His mother had been in her room and sometimes he goes down to check up on her. It was Sunday and it was the late hours of morning. Derick was in his room lying down on his bed. He tried as hard as he could not think about everything that has happened but he could not. It was the next morning and Derick was awake, he was in the shower and he took a while there. When he finished in the shower, he came out and wore his cloths. He did not understand what he just did and he could not control his anger. He looked around and saw how scared and surprised everyone in the cafeteria was. He also looked at John and saw how scared he was, he immediately ran out of the cafeteria and went into the boy’s rest room. Derick got off his bed and slowly went to the shower. He took his time in the shower because he was up early. When he finished taking a shower, he went on to brush his teeth and after that he wore some clean cloths. He finished preparing and was ready for school, but as he was about to leave his room he felt an urge not to leave, he felt like something bad was going to happened today. Celia stood up from the bed and went into the shower. She stayed there for a while because she was thinking. After a while, she came out of the shower with a tower wrapped around her body. She dried her hair and then put on some clothes, clothes that her friend gave her because she did not come with any. If it was on normal circumstances, Celia would have enjoyed staying with her friend, because here she felt okay and it was better than staying in her house, with her father. But now, because of everything that was going on she could not feel okay. She was tired of staying alone in the room so she decided to go downstairs. Dr. Edward walked into the lab and looked around but there was no one in the lab. Ben ran into the lab and stood at the entrance, he looked around and there was no sign of Celia, Derick or john. Ben was relieved and at the same time confused, he wondered where they must have gone to. “I am not surprised, your lab is really impressive.” Dr. Edward said as he continued to walk around the lab. Ben relaxed so that he would not seem suspicious, “So why did you want to see my lab anyway.” “Well you can say as a scientist I like to admire labs and yours is fine.” Dr. Edward answered. “I need you help uncle ben, it is really important.” Celia said “Come in quickly.” Ben said. Ben opened the door fully and Celia, John and Derick entered the house. They were now in the house, and the interior was even more impressive. There were few furnitures, almost everything in the house was white including the walls. The house was spotless, there was no sign of dirt anyway. Ben went to a corner and started removing his masks and goggles. “Remove your shoes there and washed your hands there at that sink.” Ben said to them. As the water from the shower went down her body, the dirts on her body washed off. She felt calm and relaxed but she did not know why. She thought about what John said about her when she left the living room but the thought went away because she did not care about it. But she did not blame them for not trusting her, she understood why. She now understand everything that was going on, why her father is on the run and also about the chemical. But she still wanted to see her father, she wanted to talk to him so he can stop all these before things gets out of control or before he ends up killing someone. She knew that if she stay with Derick, eventually her father will come for him and she will meet him, because after all Derick is with his chemical.
