Chapter Thirteen

A confused frown appeared on Tyler's face. He blinked rapidly to ensure he wasn't asleep or the words he just heard weren't products of hallucination.

"Brother?" He muttered coldly. His voice wasn't audible enough for everyone to hear.

"You've have to kill me first before you hurt my brother" The lady added, stepping into the scene. She lazily swept her long braids back to her shoulder. Her deep blue eyes shimmered like the glints of sunlight and her alluring light skin glistened epically, like fine ointment.

Her words gave Tyler the reassurance he needed that he heard her the first time she mentioned the word brother. As unreal as it sounds, Tyler swallowed the lump of saliva in his throat. He remained silent, hoping that everything would unfold. There's no flame without fore right? He yearns to see the source of the burning fire.

The man who yelled at Tyler a few moments ago bent his head in remorse.
