The next day, the board members assembled in the boardroom again. Their purpose of convening was to deliberate on whether to make Alex the CEO or not. It was a hard decision to make, because they had seen just the previous day that Alex did not learn anything from the training he was supposed to do and was not fit to be the CEO, but they also knew that he had done his own part of the deal and it will be unjust to not give him the position. Also, they knew that Alex and his mother would make trouble again if Alex was not given the position. As it is with meetings, arguments ensued between the members before a final decision was made.
