EQUALLY DAMNED

The detective tapped his fingers against the wall as he moved towards the interrogation room. He was with Cage who had requested to speak to him.

They both kept hoping that in one way or the other, he would confess his sins but the man was very stubborn. Cage was anxious as he walked alongside the detective, this was because every day he spent without Chloe made him so nervous and worried.

He knew she was out there somewhere, and he had to find her no matter what the situation was. They walked past the bustling activity as officers walked around them and soon walked to the room where Mason was already waiting for them.

Spotting him sitting calmly in the interrogation room through the glass window, Cage clenched his jaw. Every time he saw Mason, he got so angry instantly. The man had caused him so much pain that he couldn't imagine how he wasn't dead yet. Mason should have been long executed, he thought.
