REDEMPTION ASHORE

Cage felt like the ground had been pulled out under him. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"What? How did this happen?" He asked in pure shock as he scanned his mind, wondering if he had misheard her. He blinked twice subsequently and pinched himself to make sure that this wasn't a dream and he wasn't living a nightmare.

But none of the things he did convinced him that the nightmare was real. His assistant took a deep breath on the other end before she continued. She was conflicted deep down and couldn't help it at all.

"We don't know yet. It was a targeted attack from the things I've seen. We are trying to beg more information, but right now, all we know is that the shipment was completely destroyed. Nothing survived the attack." Cage clenched his teeth as the rest of the words sank in.

He was the only person who felt truly hurt and pained because he knew how many millions that had just gone to waste. He couldn't believe that this was happening to him.
