The sun was unable to penetrate the thick dark curtains that lined every window of the room but Maya could tell by her pure instincts that it was already well into the day. She opened her eyes and the only thing that gave her a hint that of last night was the hangover that remained from yesterday’s fun. That was when she begun to understand her surroundings.
