As her hand came down on him, she misstepped and slipped, tumbling forward.

Michael's quick reflexes kicked in, he reached out and caught her just in time, his arms wrapping around her waist to steady her fall.

The jolt left her breathless, her heart racing as she looked up into Michael's concerned eyes.

" Are you alright?" He asked, his voice filled with genuine worry.

Deya was about to nod in response when a sharp pain shot through her wrist.

She winced in pain when she realized she had hurt her wrist in the process.

" I think I hurt my hand," she admitted, feeling the growing ache of the affected area.

Without thinking twice, Micheal took her hands into his and examined then carefully. His touch was gentle yet firm, sending shivers down Deya's spine as she felt the warmth against her skin.

"We should get those looked at," Micheal said, his voice low and soothing. "Come with me."

She wanted to decline, tell him that she was fine but the worry on his face made her speechless.
