Mello descended down the spiral stairs that led into his luxurious living room, a smile gracing his lips as he adjusted his collar tie.

Sunlight poured into the room filtering through the transparent curtains, matching his bright mood.

It had been a week since the incident with Sir Ren and finally, everything seemed to be falling into place.

He had had time to enjoy his wealth, indulge in new experiences and have a lot of fun.

He even promised Ana he'll take her for swimming lessons today after work- a simple joy she had longed for.

He also had a secret surprise for Esther today when he get to work.

He was just finally happy that life was going his way.

He smiled on getting to the living room and met his maid, Deya standing with a tray of food in her hand.

Her face was lined with dried up tears which caught Mello's attention, making him walk up to her.

" Sir, are you leaving without taking your breakfast again?" She said, her eyes full with concern.
