Nancy grimaced in pain and fear creeped into her eyes as she struggled against Flynn’s bruising grip on her arm. With her free hand, she fumbled with the telephone, her fingers trembling as she dialed Gary’s number.

Adrian, who was furious at the sight of Flynn manhandling Nancy, instantly retaliated by grabbing Suzy’s arm and twisting it behind her back. “Let go of me!” Suzy screamed, her voice laced with pain but Adrian tightened his hold.
