At that moment, Martha stepped in again and snapped at Kevin,

“Kevin!”

After giving Kevin a warning look, Martha smiled and stepped in front of Drake.

“Drake… Kevin is younger than you so he doesn’t know how to control his tongue. Why are you arguing with him anyway and where are your parents? Why didn’t I see them come today?”

Martha sought to shift the subject to divert everyone’s focus away from her daughter, Lily.

Drake was fuming with anger but he kept his cool and responded to Martha,

“My parents are at the overseas, monitoring the family’s business. They aren’t lazy like you! You don’t have anything to do all day long, do you? You have your little son-in-law to be your hands and feet.”

Drake’s words made Martha extremely embarrassed.

In that moment, a matured older voice interrupted them

“What in heaven’s name is everyone doing here!?”

“Grandma!”

He glanced behind him and noticed someone aiding Mrs. Jones Hannah, the family’s eldest and most r
