For a moment Adrian was clueless. “Like the family dinner. They are all going to be there so I need a distraction to get to the back door. I'll have to pass through the kitchen anyways but I have that covered already”

“Ohh.. right”

Just then, they heard Martinez's voice from downstairs.

“Master”, Martinez was calling out. He was knocking on Adrian's door too.

“Uhh why is he here?”, Audrey groaned

Adrian went to the door.

“He'll pass, don't worry”, Adrian whispered to Audrey. Audrey rolled her eyes, quite annoyed.

Soon enough, Martinez went down the stairs. Adrian opened the door as soon as he could no longer hear his footsteps. He had his head out first to make sure the passage was clear.

“I think everyone’s at the dining”, Adrian whispered. He came out fully and was just about to ask Audrey to do the same when Martinez appeared out of nowhere at the head of the stairs.
