“On my count of three, okay? One… two … three”

An excited squeal followed. That was Audrey. Drunk Audrey.

“Woohoo. Again, again”, she said, waving her shot glass in the face of the barman.

“Oh hell no girl”, Vanessa quickly said. “No more. She's drunk”

“Nooo… I want more”, Audrey said loudly, adding a squeal to the end of her words.

Vanessa nodded in the negative to the barman. “That's enough Audrey”, she said, coming down from the high chair she'd been sitting on.

“No more. Let's go”, she slipped her arm into Audrey's and dragged her away from the bar.

“Woohoo”, Audrey squealed again.

“Girl, would you calm the hell down?”

“Why? This is a partyyy…”, Audrey said, her head swinging recklessly and hands in the air.

“I need to get you a ride home”, Vanessa said, taking her phone out of the pockets of her shorts.

“Home? I don't wanna go home!”, Audrey exclaimed.
