Defeating The Small Pack Of Wolves.

After the Tier 2 wolf let out a piercing howl, its pack became even more aggressive.

Their black eyes turned red as they rushed towards the soldiers who were blocking their path in frenzy.

On top of the hills, the onlookers held their breath, captivated by the unfolding battle, afraid to miss a single moment, as they prayed that there king would be able to defeat the beasts that have invaded there lands.

"Charge!!!"

Connor's voice commanded, and around 100 soldiers broke free from the formation, as brandishing their raised Cubs before they clashed with the Demonic Wolf beasts.

The villagers, witnessing the spectacle, never expected what they saw.

They anticipated a struggle between the soldiers and the wolves at least as they prayed there new vullage soldiers would be able to put up some type of defence due to fate even when they felt it was quite unlikely,

but the soldiers proved to be overpowering.

They struck the wolves with precision, stunning them, and before the wolves had a chance to recover, another soldier would deliver the finishing blow straight at the same spot.

This pattern repeated throughout the battlefield as the soldiers outnumbered the wolves 2 to 1.

Furthermore, the soldiers were inherently stronger than the Tier 1 striped wolves, making the deployment of 100 soldiers seem like an overkill.

Infuriated by the merciless slaughter of its subordinates, the leading Alpha wolf let out an angry howl.

As It leaped from the stone hill, slashing its claws at the nearest soldier upon landing.

A wave of flashing claw light erupted, instantly claiming the lives of over five soldiers in the vicinity.

Witnessing this gruesome act, the remaining soldiers succumbed to anger.

Activating their rage skills, their eyes emitted a fiery red glow, and their muscles bulged as if a serpent were wriggling inside them.

They charged towards the Tier 2 Red striped wolf Alpha, engaging it in combat.

Observing the dire situation, Connor dismounted his horse and ran forward, letting out a thunderous roar.

He swiftly retrieved his great sword from behind him and hurled it towards the wolf's extended claws, which were about to claim more lives.

With a resounding clash, Connor's massive sword met the wolf's claws, abruptly forcing the beast to retreat.

Drops of blood started dripping from the wolf's wounded paws.

As the sword rebounded back into Connor's waiting hands, he skillfully gripped it once more.

Standing before the Tier 2 Alpha wolf, while he shielded his soldiers with his body.

"Give us space,"

Connor commanded, and the soldiers quickly made way for both the Red striped Alpha wolf and the Barbarian Lord to engage in a fierce battle.

"Come on, wolfie, it's just you and me now," Connor taunted,

slowly moving and keeping a keen eye on the wolf's every movement, ready to anticipate its attacks.

The wolf circled around Connor, growling and locking eyes with him.

Its instincts told it that the human before it possessed great strength, making it even more eager to dine on Connor's flesh.

Feasting on the flesh of robust and strong warriors like Connor would hasten the demon beast's evolution to the next Tier, so he was quite being pushed by greed at the moment.

Despite sensing a hint of danger, the wolf remained unfazed, recognizing that Connor was merely a Tier 1 warrior.

It believed that winning against him would require some effort, but it never entertained the thought of losing to Connor.

The wolf's sneer, disdain, and underestimation of Connor were evident in its intelligent eyes.

Growing impatient, it lunged forward, attempting to sink its teeth into Connor.

However, Connor smoothly sidestepped, evading the beast's menacing fangs.

In response, he swung his massive sword directly at the wolf's neck, with a back slash.

Realizing it had fallen into a precarious situation, the wolf relied on its wild fighting experience, swiftly swiping its claws towards the oncoming sword.

Clank!

Sparkles of light shimmered and flashes filled the air as the formidable Hero Connor clashed once again with the Tier 2 red-striped wolf.

This time, the wolf showed its readiness and unleashed a powerful attack, using its hind feet to exert all of its strength, slowly pushing Connor back in the display of strength.

Noticing that he was struggling against the wolf's might, Connor swiftly released his grip on the sword.

Red stripped Alpha wolf : (^_-)

With a quick Duke downward, Connor reached for the two small axes that he always kept at his waist, aiming for the wolf's vulnerable belly.

"Arrrgghhh!" Connor's cry pierced the air as he tore open the wolf's stomach with precise strikes, causing its intestines and other organs to spill onto the ground.

The wolf staggered, struggling to lift its gaze towards the face of the human warrior who had exploited its own underestimation and carelessness.

Regret washed over the beast, wishing it had escaped when it had first witnessed the demise of its subordinates.

It realized it could have avoided such a gruesome fate.

Connor hurled one of the small axes in his hand forward, lodging it into the Alpha wolf's skull.

As the Alpha wolf lost copious amounts of blood, it finally collapsed onto the battlefield, its fall resonating with a resounding thud.

Jax, who had been observing the entire encounter, found himself awestruck by the wolf's resilience.

It had managed to survive for more than five to seven seconds even after having its stomach slashed open.

Its tenacity amazed him, and he silently expressed gratitude for acquiring a free Hero.

Otherwise, he would have worried about the number of soldiers he would have needed to sacrifice in order to defeat the Tier 2 red-striped wolf.

He knew, based on what he had just witnessed, that the remaining soldiers would not fare well if he had to calculate the casualties.

The wolf had proven to be a natural disaster in its own right, causing havoc in a small village like his, was no problem, but Jax had taken care of this with mimimal casualties.
