'You've landed?'
"Yeah, I'm currently in the taxi and heading straight to the meeting now."
Esmond didn't bring anything beyond a small bag, similar to the ones used to bag his soccer boots.
It had just enough spare clothes and if things were bad, he could always purchase some, so it didn't highly matter to Esmond what he packed for his trip now that he had a great deal of money.
Currently he was looking out at streets of Lagos, Nigeria.
The driver was clearly taking his time to show Esmond the brighter side of the city, away from the harsher parts of town, but it obvious early on that there was a great deal of problems within the city and more than like the nation.
.
'I know what your thinking, and yes there are a whole ton of issues throughout the nation.
I've especially picked up some connections between several Swiss bank accounts and politicians who continue to add several large sums to the accounts on a regular basis.'
"I would say to screw with them and take it all, but don't… keep on nice hold on the money and track of the higher positioned individuals within Nigeria."
There wasn't anything to stop Esmond from taking Nigeria and making it his own territory.
Even now, if he went on a rampage, his strength would wipe out anything that came in his way.
What would cause him some damage is missiles, but considering the state of the nation, he very much doubted they would fire missiles at him and not keep them well hidden for other issues or pawn them off.
"Such a beautiful nation destroyed by greed…
Seems we will get along just fine…"
…
..
.
At the seaside bar lounge, Esmond entered along with 4 other Native African and white south African were part of his security squad.
They had a stiff attitude which Esmond didn't mind at all, but he did find it hilarious that they were trying to show their dominance as male alphas when walking at his side or just behind him.
It was fun to watch with his heightened senses with the spirit energy that let him know his surroundings within a particular number of metres.
Esmond call over a waiter to order some drinks for himself and his guest that was heading over to him from the side.
His security team moved to intercept him, but Esmond waved them off since there wasn't anyone around who could harm him, in fact their presence was for show and assurance for both of his parents who made Carter promise them that he would organise Esmond a team.
.
"Looks like you have some valuable goods on you…"
An American voice reached Bens ears, as he got a nice view of the person Carter had organised him to meet.
The guy looked a little tan and ruffed up by the environment, but the clothes made him look like a Hawaiian gigolo drinking his days away.
"More like I'm my parents most valuable jewel…"
"Then it should be an army behind you."
Esmond smiled at the man's comment and just said, "… Very well, go make me one…"
He looked the American man dead in the eyes while he spoke, making sure his eyes could tell him how serious he was.
Being an 18-year-old was difficult enough for someone to take seriously, so with the added body transformation, it made Esmond seem like a highly pampered child of a wealthy family touring with his guards.
.
"Neither knows the other, but you've freely given me such a large duty…?"
Esmond smirked, "Mr… Anton Griskinov, an American citizen who was born and raised in Russia as a sleeper who was called back by the nation during his teenage years and then put through military school and college to then join the C.I.A…
After a decade with them, you left on unsavoury terms according to the records, but my sources tell me otherwise.
Then… your luck ran out and you fell in with Blackwater…
How have things been since the falling out with the guys that you saved on multiple occasions during you C.I.A days…?"
Anton was finding it difficult to breath as all of his business was laid out by the man in front of him without him having anything on the other person.
He'd genuinely to find something on Esmond, but he found nothing, not even a simple address or high school record through his network.
The meeting was becoming more uncomfortable for Anton the longer he stayed so he tried to leave, but Esmond, spoke some more, catching Antons attention.
"You were wrong…
So was your crew in the mess Blackwater created… that's why I want to step in and lead you guys.
I need an army that can handle all the crap I through at them, and trust me… shit won't be easy…
But I can tell you this, every single person on my team will be cared for and protected like one of my own.
Don't need to believe me… but it will happen no doubt… so it's up to you if you're willing to get out of the rut you've fallen into."
.
Anton took some heavy sips of his hot drink before speaking, "What are you seeking exactly?
I don't want to hear some bullshit, because I will walk.
The whole truth, that's what I want to hear…"
Esmond smiled, knowing he couldn't simply discuss galactic domination and expansion before someone who's only fought in wars between nations with land borders.
He was a puppy dog in Esmonds monstrous demonic eyes that'd experienced galactic scale war for countless lifetimes.
"… I want to create an army to rival the United States and China.
Sounds insane, but I have the wealth and resources, so why not."
.
It was a heavy pill to swallow hearing the kid in front of him was seeking to rival some of the giants in the world that no one dared to go up against.
Even more, he was an American, not one that was particularly patriotic after everything he went through for his nation, he got sweet fuck all, so he was tempted in some way to stick it back at them.
"Say… I do join you and help create your army… what do you want me to make for you?
Be realistic and up front so I know what I need to find and organise for you."
There was a whole ton of information Esmond could get across to Anton about the military and its desired capabilities, but he went with the summary that Carter sent him.
"I want all three divisions of an army. Land, sky, and sea, but also want my own intelligence network that can't be rivalled by anything the US, China, Russia, or any of the other countries have.
Sounds like a lot, but it's just the beginning… the main goal after all is dominance… in space."
Esmond chose to say nothing more, leaving Anton to make his own decision on what the words meant, especially his mentioning of space could mean plenty of things like satellites or weapon-based systems.
.
"I can get you my old squad and a couple other lads who want to get into the 'legit' side of the business… problem is, we would still be far from enough people for an army."
Anton knew of the top off his memory, knew around 50 that might rush at the job, but many more would want secure jobs that wouldn't put them on the front lines, so he wasn't sure.
His chat with Esmond helped clear that up, as the number grew to roughly a 100 to 150 people that he knew would sign up.
With that, Esmond decided to leave and wait to hear from Anton, leaving him with some details to get in touch with him, and left with his team for another meeting.
.
"Tell me why I need to meet with this 'Jioke Obea' right now?"
'He has control over the import of rubbish to be processed by the poverty populous, but he's ate up a whole chunk of the funds allocated to him by the government so now he is scrambling to find someone to help him manage the huge shipments.'
A sigh that reverberated through everyone soul in the same car with Esmond, as he listened to Carter reasonably explain to him want needed to be done, yet he found it exhausting.
While he tried to think of some excuse for bother Carter during the drive over, he noticed some bikes were following him through his spiritual senses, affording him a radar of roughly 25 metres.
"Pick up the pace, we have company." Esmond told the driver, which confused him for a second as he'd been on the look for a tail, but the second Esmond mentioned the bikes, he saw them in his rear-view mirror.
The driver started to take evasive manoeuvres, while the guards next to him got their weapons out and passed ammo and the rifles amongst themselves, like a well glued team.
"Carter have you-"
'Yes, I have.
I'm currently taking them using the satellites imaging, but… fuck!
These satellites are atrocious!
Can make out a horses arsehole or a donkey dick with this crap.'
Another time, Esmond cursed his luck that the A.I system had to merge with Carter and not form its own body or whatever without him, since his personality was way too warped and corrupted like him.
.
Esmond could hear Carter updating him on the position of the bikes and any other suspicious vehicles as the driver speed through the city of Lagos and tried to head for the meeting after breaking off from the guys on the bike, but they continued to follow, weaving through the traffic.
"Boss, I think it's best if we drop you somewhere and we act as a distraction…" one of the white South African guards said, with the others approving of his plan.
Esmond agreed, but they needed a window that would allow him sufficient time to jump out and move freely without causing anyone to wonder.
With a little help from Carter, Esmond directed the driver around some streets to give him 10 seconds to get out and move.
For the improved and powerful Esmond, 1 second was more than enough, but with the 10 full seconds, he moved up the buildings and hid among the roof top, quietly watching the 4 bikes trailing behind the car continue to pass by.
"Carter, let those boys know I am in the clear.
Also pass on their details to Anton…
I quite liked how they operate."
The grouped impressed him with their communication, though it was awfully silent, they connected on a deeper level that comes with fighting side by side on the battlefield.
Carter also agreed as he watched from Bens eyes, evaluating the groups performance as more than average in his books.
He compared them to some of the soldiers they had come across in the past, so he saw potential for growth, but it depended on staying alive and working well with others they might have never met before.

"Has he arrived yet?"
The ever curious and impatient Jioke Obea was fidgeting with his hands, hoping to God the call that came earlier wasn't just some shitty brats trying to ruin his day.
After spending the government funding, her was provided for the rubbish program he was supposed to build and help alleviate some of the issues affecting the people, he was now left with little options as no one would come to offer any plans without the government providing some help.
Rubbish wasn't something governments enjoyed dealing with as no one had a real answer on how to deal with it.
Yes, there are many of methods that help break it down over decades, but that is still decades, so when the caller offered Jioke a program that could start solving the problem within a couple of months and give the country a leading edge, there was no way he could refuse the meeting.
"When he arrived, fucking tell me! Now get lost and bring me some tea!"
Jioke barked some orders at his servant while waiting Esmond to arrive.
He of course knew nothing of the person arriving, just the discussion would include much more than deal so Jioke felt a little intrigued after hearing it could be beneficial for him.
.
Jioke was pacing around after siting down was making him move around too much in his chair, so he thought walking would help calm him down.
Unfortunately, it was too late, as Esmond entered along with the servant bring the two some tea.
While it might seem rude etiquette, the busy Esmond was delighted by the cup of tea, especially since he was running around through a city, he wasn't comfortable with to make it on time to the meeting.
.
"Sorry about my staffs' behaviours, Mr…?"
"It's fine Mr Obea, actually I was glad to get some tea the moment I arrived.
Walking here took it out of me so I felt thirsty for a lovely drink."
Jioke couldn't figure out if Esmond was joking or not, but he picked up in his haste and worry that the tanned boy in front of him wasn't divulging his name.
"It that so… *chuckle* well, I'm glad…
So, Mr…?"
"Just call me… Mr Mars…"
"Mars?"
"Yes…"
Obea was a man that didn't take shit.
A simple man that grew up through the harsh life in Nigeria, suffering at the hands of SARS in his youth, a paramilitary organisation connected with the government that just killed and maimed people as they pleased when they were looking out for robbers and thieves.
He worked hard and used his connections with the hoods and people in higher places to move up and take control over a part of the SARS police unit, making them guards and enforcers of his businesses.
Hearing the little tanned kid that sounded more western and fragile than a twig, Jioke wanted to pound Esmonds face into the ground, but he felt a blood curdling pressure cover him as he glared at Esmond.
He was beginning to choke and struggled to breath.
Thankfully, Esmond let him go and pulled back his anger, letting Jioke catch his breath and rethink what he was going to do next, before making a move that would lead to his certain death.
'Wasn't that too much…?'Carter had a front row seat to everything Esmond did, unless he chose not to let him see, which only happened if some lady was in his company for the night.Anyway, seeing Jioke hand over more than 5 large sites all over Nigeria, for mass collection points for the rubbish to be treated, as well as some extra land in problematic areas according to Carter, made him wonder what the government was thinking."Didn't you say part of these areas are where the dispute for the oil is happening with the people and some fuel cooperation?"'Mmm… but the main problem there is the fuel has destroyed the economy for the fisherman and ruined their health.I'm thinking if we can set up a charity that we can spare our goods to, we should be able to help create some change there before entering.'Esmond agreed with Carter and asked him to get in touch with some charities locally with Antons help of course and step up some
"Sir… have you updated yourself with the condition of the business so far?" Julia sighed as she spoke with Esmond the day after him spending time with Carter, torturing themselves with pain every time they gathered more knowledge from media. Some of it had yet to be analysed and examine but following meetings with his staff needed Esmonds attention so he had to stop studying and head into the city. "Sorry Julia, I've been focused on studying up some technology I am working on to help with the business operations." Esmond was talking out of his ass when he said that, as he knew Carter would thoroughly watch and examine everything that goes through the business intranet. With the upgrade of the system and space, Carter also went through a huge improvement as a basic Artificial System Spirit Core. He knew there it would be a while before he became an intermediate system, but with the upgrade, the amount he could do before was peanuts comp
Louis was fluttering around trying to comb his golden blonde hair that was sticking up like a porcupine that'd rolled out of bed and brush his teeth while trying to find his socks. He was running late for his important meeting that concerned his business, Gloomy Shadow Games or GSG for short. The night before he was out partying with the other guys from work and one of his partners who was also a dear friend for gaining the meeting, but now he was more worried about making it within 10 minutes.Racing out his apartment, Louis bolted for the train to take him into the city where he needed to meet the client.Praying the trains weren't behind and on schedule, Louis made his way to the station but called the office ahead to let the client know he was running late.."Goddammit Louis! What the fuck did I say yesertday night?!Not to get too drunk that you might miss the meeting and now look…"
'Ahh… whats the point man.' Hayaan Omar Dubad, a refugee who'd left his motherland, Somalia, for a better life, unfortunately his fate wasn't as lucky he thought it might have been after leaving the land that brought him pain. Arriving in Madagascar by boat, leaving from the Port of Mogadishu, Hayaans life went from terrible to outright unbearable as many of those that escaped with him to the boats were caught by the locals and made into working slaves. Some earned enough so they could buy certain things like food and water, but many were left to fend for themselves. Hayaan, not wanting to die, escaped one night from his imprisonment, and escaped to some town where some missionary christens who saw the poor condition and health of Hayaan took him in. They covered his treatment and sent him outside of Madagascar, as the missionary group were part of a charity group with connections to the UN, so Hayaan thought he would settle in some western co
'Look here, one of your main quests requires you to create your own business empire and have wealth like no other has.As much as my handle on the market has earned you a pretty penny, don't forget I sourced your wealth together using 2 billion dollars I found that were evident of laundered money made from drug sales.'His words sounded harsh and straight forward, but Esmond understood Carter wasn't mincing his words so he would continue to move about and not laze at home instead, leaving the tasks for later.Carter had already started making ships, aircrafts, submarines, and plenty of other items the army would require while waiting for the uranium to arrive at the designated address in the United States.Esmond would be making his way over to the United States after his trip in Ukraine came to an end, with his future schedule busy meeting one of the people connected with the Chernobyl Power Plant confinement project for reactor number 4.
Landing at the Newark Liberty International Airport within New Jersey, Esmond connected with Carter first while entering a cab as he gave the driver the address for the Hilton Hotel, which Esmond wasn't a large fan of, after staying a night in the Adelaide Hilton Hotel, but his childish side thought 'screw it!'.While on the way, Esmond pulled up the Wheel of Chance from the System Interface and spun the wheel with his consciousnesses control over the system which saved from looking like a food to someone when he used the System Interface.Today had made it roughly a week Esmond had acquired the new System Function which only gave him one worthy item so far which was the Virtual World. The last two spins gave Esmond,.[2465 – Gregorian calendar][Ugusta Star Empire][Space Cruiser Cloaking System V5]And[2096 – Greg
"Hello Mr Manston, my name is Crista Hoffman.""It's lovely to meet you Ms Hoffman, please just call me Esmond.""Then please call me Crista,"The two chuckled a little, before sitting down and getting to business. They both found the other attractive, with Crista finding Esmonds eyes to be deep and honest, while Esmond found her smile to dazzling and highly attractive, but they kept their thoughts to themselves and focused on business before them.."So… I have reviewed your file and the information you've sent through. From the looks of your proposal, I no doubt believe you would be perfect for a contract with the State government for Waste and recycling control management.""There seems to be a 'however' that is about to escape your lips."Esmond wasn't trying to flirt, but his tone and eyes focusing on Crista lips made her feel Esmond might try to connect with her in t
'What am I doing here?'Carter was listening to Esmond whine while about the number of people and traffic as he arrived at Times Square."Stop complaining and tell me what the city is like?"Carter was more curious about what Times Square looked like and how the atmosphere in the area felt, as the vision from Esmonds eyes just wasn't enough anymore after so many years of being confined to Esmonds mind. With his body and the freedom, the space offered him, Carter was more than satisfied up until he felt the space to be void of life and moving parts, besides of drones that helped create the true beauty of cities…What it needed was people and lots of it to fill the city he'd made and the second one that was being built. He hadn't started on any work for the second city beside the palace and Summoning Square, because Carter wanted to see how the people lived and worked in the cities Esmond visited. So far, Carter found the third w
