To The Company

I was in a state of shock, I couldn’t believe my eyes.

‘After all this time, why now?’ I thought to myself.

I breathed out loudly, and calmed myself down.

It was nice to see her and all, but the bus would be leaving soon, and I didn’t want to miss it.

She was standing there with her mom, and another man which I knew would be her dad.

I finally walked up to them and spoke.

“Good day Mr and Mrs Higgins,” I said.

Her mother looked away from me, and her father simply nodded his head.

“I’m sorry Stephanie, but I have to leave now. I’ll be sure to contact you,” I said and turned to leave.

As I walked away, I heaved a large sigh of relief.

The situation went way better than I expected, and I was just happy that I was able to find an easy way out.

I wondered what she was doing at the hotel with her family.

The school had declared that week a lecture free one, because of the internship program.

So she probably decided to head home and spend time with her family.
