The next day.
"How are you feeling after the arcana arrangement yesterday?" asked Ivy, perched on a wooden chair with both eyes on Arryn.
Arryn was still lying on his bed because he had nothing else to do. Lucas, Aurora, and Lorelei were still busy with their unfinished Arcana. Among the fifteen apprentices, Arryn was the only one who had finished crafting the Arcana.
"Quentin said that the stage of adjusting Arcana to my body ended at midnight. I don't feel any different," Arryn replied, raising his right hand before his face.
"It seems like your Arcana has integrated with your body well," Ivy said. Arryn nodded as he closed his eyes.
"Then, do you have anything to do today?" Ivy asked again.
Arryn was silent. The next lesson in Riviela's class would take place next week, so Arryn had plenty of time from today until next week.
The books Arryn had read in Quentin's office weren't helping. No single text could explain dimensional magic's origin nor how to control it.
Arryn thought of something. Would he have to go back to the library to find information about it?
"Anything to do, huh? I was thinking of revisiting the library," Arryn replied, starting to get up from the bed.
"The library? Isn't your arc completed? What exactly are you looking for?" asked Ivy.
"The information related to my strength. I'm probably the only one among the fifteen apprentices who don't know the details of his original magic," Arryn explained, standing up and walking away from the bed.
Arryn stepped closer to the wardrobe to pick up his robe, which was black and knee-length. The clothes he wore were also not the apprentice uniform. Arryn chose to wear other casual clothes to look more relaxed and calm.
"Are you coming with me, Ivy?" asked Arryn, turning his head with his eyes fixed on Ivy.
Ivy flew up as she spread her wings, "Sure."
She quickly flew over to Arryn and began to perch on the young man's right shoulder. Not only that, but Ivy also began to activate her invisible ability so that she would not be seen by people.
Arryn stepped out of his room and headed towards the Obelisk library on the fourth. He could see people in various uniforms passing by, busy with their work.
"Arryn!"
Arryn's steps stopped when a girl's loud voice called out to him. Arryn turned his head and saw Lorelei coming as she ran over.
"Are you going to the library?" asked Lorelei. Arryn nodded as he cleared his throat.
"Is your arc not complete yet?" asked Arryn, walking simultaneously as Lorelei.
"That's what's bothering me. I still don't understand Arcana."
Lorelei was an active and excited girl, but her head didn't support her attitude. Arryn chuckled at Lorelei's frustrated response. He would willingly explain Arcana to Lorelei.
"Did you finish it?" asked Lorelei. Arryn nodded.
"Really? Wow! I didn't expect that your brain was so smart," Lorelei praised.
Arryn couldn't accept that praise for himself. The Arcana he had arranged and activated was entirely based on Quentin's advice, so the credit was also for him.
"Well, I was able to do it with the help of someone else, too," Arryn replied, continuing to walk up the stairs to reach the fourth floor.
"Who was that person? I need to know so I can finish this Arcana quickly," said Lorelei.
Lorelei turned her face to look at Arryn. Arryn was confused about how to explain it; if he had answered Quentin, Lorelei might not believe his words.
Not a single apprentice in this place had ever spoken to Quentin other than Arryn. Lorelei would also become suspicious of Arryn if the young man continued to tell her about Quentin.
"She's a second-tier magic user. You must have met many of them in the library, right?" asked Arryn, remembering Sansa, who had helped him a bit yesterday.
"Oh, you're right. Did she help you?" asked Lorelei, Arryn agreeing to the question.
"Then you must help me search for the person you're saying!" pleaded Lorelei, stopping in front of Arryn with a smile and pointing at the young man.
Her request seemed like an order to Arryn. However, it didn't matter because Arryn also had another purpose to the library.
Arryn stepped passed Lorelei with both eyes fixed forward, "Alright, but I can't guarantee that she'll be there today."
Lorelei jumped for joy as she walked back near Arryn. Her cheeks were flushed with occasional glances at the young man.
Arryn's mysterious personality and intelligent brain made Lorelei curious, but her curiosity didn't exceed her awe of Lucas.
That's right! Lorelei had intentionally teamed up with Lucas for no reason; the girl had liked Lucas for a long time, but Lucas had never responded.
Their journey ended when they arrived at the library's door. Lorelei excitedly opened the wooden door and entered, followed by Arryn.
"Does she have an abundance of energy?" asked Ivy, curious when she saw Lorelei's 'overactive' attitude.
"That's the unique side of humans. You'll never see anything like that," replied Arryn, handing over his library card and walking out as soon as it was stamped by the librarian.
Arryn quickly walked at a fast pace to Lorelei, who was already on the second floor. The number of visitors to the library was far less today than yesterday, probably because the apprentices no longer visited this place.
Lorelei stood in front of an arrangement of bookshelves about Arcana. Her eyes wandered around, looking for the book she thought was the best to study. I raised my hand and grabbed the book on Arcana for Lorelei, written by Sage Quentin.
"Did you use this book to learn yesterday?" asked Lorelei.
"Not really. However, the words are simple and easy to understand."
"So, you're giving me that book because you think I'm stupid?!" snapped Lorelei, the corners of her eyes sharpening.
"N-Not like that. I'm just referring to the best book that novices like us can learn from," replied Arryn, surprised as he tried to explain what he meant.
Lorelei turned her face away immediately, ignoring Arryn with both eyes still searching for the book she thought was perfect. One by one, all the books were opened and briefly read, Arryn and Ivy getting tired of looking at her.
While waiting for Lorelei to finish choosing her book, Arryn unexpectedly heard something strange in his ears. A sound similar to someone sighing from behind this shelf.
"Did you hear that, Ivy?" asked Arryn, speaking softly.
"It's pretty faint, but I can hear it at a glance," Ivy replied.
Lorelei seemed to be walking further down the long shelf, still not finished with her reference. Arryn decided to peek over the left side of the bookshelf to see who was doing something indecent in this place.
"What are you doing?" asked Ivy quietly.
"I'm going to disturb them. How dare they do such a foolish thing in this place!" I said, upset with their behavior.
Arryn immediately stood up and slowly stepped to the bookshelf's other side. Slowly but surely, he looked at the place, and to his surprise, Arryn saw something he never expected.
"Isn't that Lucas?" asked Ivy, flying up and hovering beside the peering Arryn.
"It is, but who is the girl with him?" Arryn asked Ivy.
"If I'm not mistaken, she was Aurora. They both are doing that in this place. How disgusting!" groaned Ivy, annoyed.
Ivy's loud voice made both of them quickly stop what they were doing. Arryn pulled himself up and promptly walked out of place.
Arryn was still shocked. He couldn't say anything but stay silent after seeing what had happened. Lorelei suddenly came over to Arryn with the three books he had chosen.
"What's wrong, Arryn?" asked Lorelei, confused by Arryn's attitude.
"N-Nothing. How is it? Have you decided which book you're going to use?" asked Arryn, smiling slightly as he looked at Lorelei's face.
Surprisingly, Lucas tapped Arryn on the shoulder, making Arryn gasp in shock as if he had seen a ghost. Arryn walked away from Lucas, who came along with Aurora.
Lorelei somehow grew excited when she saw Lucas' presence. The girl even asked Lucas to teach about Arcana.
Arryn didn't take his eyes away from Lucas and Aurora. According to Arryn, Lucas was a typical young man who was good at keeping secrets. However, it was different with Aurora.
The quiet but intelligent girl was still silent with her head bowed. Aurora felt guilty about what had just happened and behaved like that.
"Did you know, Arryn has already arranged the Arcana," Lorelei explained.
Lucas and Aurora were surprised to hear that. They had two different opinions on Arryn already crafting the Arcana.
Lucas thought Arryn was a fool and a reckless person who carelessly entered Arcana items just like that. Lucas knew very well the consequences of a person when he misplaced the Arcana.
Unlike Aurora, the girl was amazed at Arryn's intelligence. She had a high rank in the Obelisk entrance exam and needed time to learn Arcana.
"Wow, really? Luckily, we have another intelligent member after Aurora," Lucas praised.
Although his words sounded like a compliment, Arryn felt that Lucas's praise had another meaning: he didn't know what it meant. Lorelei's praise was much more honest than Lucas's.
"Thank you, but I'm not smart as you think," Arryn replied, smiling.
"All right. We should start studying together today so we can all get our Arcana quickly like Arryn," said Lucas, proposing an idea that Lorelei immediately agreed to.
Arryn smiled faintly, feeling that Lucas was trying to humiliate Arryn. Lucas is certainly doing it with a purpose.
Lucas wants to get all the attention from the girls for himself. He didn't want anyone other than him to be the center of attention from Aurora and Lorelei.

They immediately took their seats in a room commonly used for discussions. Aurora took the seat adjacent to Lorelei while Lucas took his seat at the side of the table. Lorelei began to open her reference book as she pointed out the arcana items written in it. Aurora and Lucas watched with moving eyes. Aurora nodded her head several times. She already knew the items of each type of Arcana, but Aurora chose to remain silent to avoid acting arrogant in front of her friends. "Before you choose the items to be attached, you must understand what the Arcana is," said Arryn, sitting on the opposite side of Lucas. "I already understand what Arcana is. Can we continue to discuss these items?" asked Lorelei. Arryn looked at Lucas and Aurora, and they nodded in agreement with Lorelei's proposal. The three of them had learned what Arcana was and its functions yesterday. Not only that, Aurora had even made some plans for the items she would use. "You'd better show us your Arcana and explain wh
Arryn invited Aurora, standing next to him, to enter the portal. At first, she was afraid and anxious, but after Arryn convinced her, she decided to enter the portal of light. Aurora was surprised when her feet felt like she was stepping on something warm and soft. The girl kept walking out of curiosity until she stopped in front of a shady coconut tree. Arryn followed Aurora from behind as he looked right and left. He and Aurora were now on a seemingly deserted island. White sand, blue waves, and shady trees welcomed the sea wind. Now, Arryn again didn't know which world he was in. "So, your original magic power is time and space travel?" asked Aurora, her eyes rounding as if impressed by Arryn's magic. "Something like that," replied Arryn, walking to Aurora, playing near the seashore. "Wow, that's awesome magic!" praised Aurora. Arryn smiled as he joined the girl in the water. The two of them enjoyed the moment together until the sun began to fall into the evening. Aurora sat
"Fifth day? I haven't arranged my Arcana yet," Aurora replied. Arryn turned his head slowly to look at the girl hiding behind his back. He realized that this was all his fault. Arryn was unable to estimate how much time was spent inside the portal. "My class is over. We'll meet again next week," said Riviela. It was a coincidence that their instructors were both in the same room. "Did you give us another assignment?" asked Aurora, her mind filled with anxiety about missing Riviela's class. "You have to learn all the spells of basic five-element magic. While practicing, you may feel changes in your body according to the chosen Arcana," replied Riviela. Aurora nodded obediently. She had no problem with five-element magic considering she had mastered it long ago. However, Aurora was still worried about her Arcana, which had not been completed. "Sage Quentin. Can I ask you a favor?" asked Arryn, turning his head to look at the man standing before him. Quentin nodded, his hands folde
*** The following day Aurora's Arcana arrangement went faster than Arryn had expected. Aurora felt different compared to Arryn when adjusting the Arcana to her body. Aurora felt warm and excited after a few minutes of doing the final Arcana setup. Different feelings were felt by people, including Aurora. Now, Arryn was not with the girl. He was still silent as he stared at the roof of his bedroom. "Aren't you going to try your magic again, Arryn?" asked Ivy, staying close to Arryn. "My magic? It seems not, Ivy. Don't you remember the advice Quentin gave me?" asked Arryn, turning his head as his eyes looked at Ivy perched on the nightstand to Arryn's right. Ivy knew and remembered the advice Quentin had given Arryn, especially about the effects of the young man's original magic. Quentin had clearly said that Arryn was forbidden to use his original magic under any conditions, whether in Riviela's classes or during his spare time. "But if you worry too much about Quentin's advice,
"But Quentin must know that you've broken his advice," Ivy said. Arryn nodded. What Ivy said had some truth to it. "You're right, but even though he'll scold me, he'll be very interested when he sees what I find," Arryn replied. "I won't push you. You will do it, and you will be responsible for it," Ivy said, flying next to Arryn and starting to use her invisible ability. Arryn decided to go visit Quentin's office. He wrapped the reptilian head in a large piece of cloth to avoid panic in this place. Ivy flew off to follow Arryn wherever she went, unseen. Even though the reptilian head was well wrapped, blood continued to flow down the cloth. Surprisingly, not a single person had any intention of questioning this. They seemed to pass by unconcerned about Arryn even though they saw the strangeness in the cloth Arryn was carrying. "What caused them to be so indifferent to you, Arryn?" asked Ivy. She, too, felt the strangeness shown by the people in this place. "I don't know. It see
*** Arryn didn't understand what Quentin meant to him. Making him the most advanced magic user would take a long time. Arryn wondered, would Quentin teach him directly about it? He and Ivy began to leave Quentin's office after there was nothing more to talk about. The two left, heading toward the Obelisk library. Unlike them, the apprentices in Riviela's class began practicing basic magic skills. Arryn certainly didn't want to be left behind them. He borrowed a book on basic magic and started practicing it in the backyard of the Obelisk tower. "I don't understand Quentin's intention at all," Ivy said, discussing what Quentin had said to them earlier. "I'm sure he was too excited about the discovery to imagine such a thing," Arryn said. "But to reach the Noble Tier takes a long time. There are many requirements you must complete," Ivy replied. Arryn agreed with Ivy's words. After all, it took a lot of effort to reach that level. Arryn was sure that Quentin also took much time to
In Alicia's eyes, the color of mana released by Arryn was dark blue, almost reaching black. In contrast to Quentin and the others, it was more light-colored such as red, yellow, light blue, green, and white. "Do you know where your strength comes from, Arryn?" asked Alicia. Arryn wondered what Alicia meant by saying that. Did she want to know about Erina? According to Arryn, there was nothing important to tell Alicia about the origin of her powers. "Everyone else doesn't know about it because they get it at birth," Arryn explained, using someone else's analogy. Alicia continued to stare at Arryn's face with a smile. The woman realized something seeing Arryn's response. She realized that Arryn was lying to her. Even so, Alicia had no intention of bothering him further. Alicia understood that Arryn was trying to hide it because of the type of mana he had belonged to the dark type of mana. Only certain races had a type of mana like Arryn, one of them was the demon race currently at
"We should return to Athanor. I don't know if time in this place goes faster or slower," Arryn pleaded, concerned that he might lose a few days in Athanor if he remained in this world. But Alicia wasn't listening. She was more concerned about the unique inhabitants of the world they had arrived in than Arryn's anxiety. She asked him to stay in this world longer to get to know the behaviors and characteristics of the people. "But on one condition, we must leave after one hour after our arrival," Arryn explained, insisting. Alicia nodded as Arryn instructed. The woman cheerfully walked along the river to arrive near a beautiful waterfall. She could see the three rabbits who looked frightened while covering their furry bodies with a piece of cloth. Their behavior truly looked like that of a human. "Don't make a sudden move like that; you'll scare them off," Arryn said, stepping slowly toward Alicia, who looked very enthusiastic. The three rabbits immediately went into the forest's d
