They immediately took their seats in a room commonly used for discussions. Aurora took the seat adjacent to Lorelei while Lucas took his seat at the side of the table.
Lorelei began to open her reference book as she pointed out the arcana items written in it. Aurora and Lucas watched with moving eyes.
Aurora nodded her head several times. She already knew the items of each type of Arcana, but Aurora chose to remain silent to avoid acting arrogant in front of her friends.
"Before you choose the items to be attached, you must understand what the Arcana is," said Arryn, sitting on the opposite side of Lucas.
"I already understand what Arcana is. Can we continue to discuss these items?" asked Lorelei.
Arryn looked at Lucas and Aurora, and they nodded in agreement with Lorelei's proposal. The three of them had learned what Arcana was and its functions yesterday. Not only that, Aurora had even made some plans for the items she would use.
"You'd better show us your Arcana and explain why you're using it," Lucas asked. Lorelei, who heard him, directly agreed with what Lucas said.
In contrast to Aurora, who was silent, she thought that maybe showing Arryn's Arcana would give her some ideas in her head.
"All right, but you better not duplicate my Arcana because my original magic is quite different from yours," Arryn replied. The three of them nodded at once.
Arryn quickly stretched his right hand forward, casting a magic spell to summon his Arcana rune.
[Summoning System: Open Rune Arcana]
[Examiner (Lv. 1)]
[Cleave (Lv. 1)]
[Crosslife (Lv. 1)]
[Lightspell (Lv. 1)]
[Sarana (Lv. 1)]
The eyes of the three of them were fixed on Arryn, specifically on the blue panel. It was faint, but Lucas and the others could see what items Arryn was using.
"Why did you choose Examiner over Spirity?" asked Aurora, her eyes rounded with enthusiasm as she looked at Arryn's Arcana arrangement.
"Because I use ranged attack-type magic more frequently than close combat," replied Arryn.
"Then, about Sarana, you pretty much dare to choose items that aren't important," said Lucas.
Arryn disagrees with him. Indeed Sarana doesn't have a significant impact when the fight occurs, but Sarana items will be beneficial at critical times.
"You certainly don't want to die without strength, right?" asked Arryn. Lucas was silent.
"That's the function of Sarana. You will get additional magic when your HP or MP is below safe. You won't die easily," Arryn continued. Aurora and Lorelei nodded in understanding.
They continued to ask one by one about the Arcana that Arryn showed. Arryn answered each of their questions with the answers he got from Quentin's explanation.
Lorelei raised her right hand, asking about the original magic Arryn was talking about. The girl asked about Arryn's original magic and whether he could show it to the three.
"I cannot do that. You know, my original magic is quite different from yours," replied Arryn, refusing to show what my original magic was like.
"Different like what?" asked Aurora, looking curious with both eyes fixed directly on Arryn.
"I couldn't explain it," replied Arryn.
"It's strange to see someone with the mage class not know what their original magic is," Lucas replied.
Arryn was silent; he didn't like what the young man said. The situation was tense; some were in disbelief about Arryn's intelligence.
Lucas smiled and grinned. He was happy that he had humiliated Arryn in front of Lorelei and Aurora. Arryn also realized they were starting to show ignorance towards him, especially Lorelei, who felt disappointed that she didn't get anything out of Arryn's explanation.
"Maybe he has magic that can't be shown to anyone," Aurora replied, trying to explain her opinion to Lucas.
But Lucas didn't care. He was more concerned with his victory for destroying Arryn's credibility in front of the two girls. Lucas was getting more confident that he would get all the attention from them.
"Those who do that usually have dangerous original magic. Tell me, Arryn. Is your original magic included?" Lucas asked.
"I don't know, sometimes it's dangerous, sometimes it's not," Arryn replied.
"Look, he's confused by himself. That's a sign that he doesn't understand anything about magic," Lucas snapped, starting to stand up from his seated position, which made Aurora and Lorelei stand up.
Arryn turned his face to look at Aurora and Lorelei. He actually wanted to explain more to them, of course, after hearing their original type of magic. However, Lucas' words were heartbreaking.
Lucas' words occurred to Arryn. His ignorance was solely due to the lack of information about his original magic. Even Quentin had to equate Arryn's power with dimensional magic.
"This is a waste of time. Let's get out of here," Lorelei explained, inviting the smiling Lucas to leave Arryn.
Lucas agreed, but when he was about to ask Aurora. The girl refused, saying that she would accompany Arryn here. She thought that Arryn was not what Lucas thought he was at all.
"Then you'd better teach him to really understand magic. It'll be troublesome when he doesn't know his magic, and Miss Riviela wants to test our group," Lucas replied.
"I'll do it, and please don't think of him as a fool!" said Aurora. Arryn was surprised because he didn't expect Aurora to support him.
Lorelei was excited to spend time with Lucas. The two of them walked away from the study, leaving Arryn seated while opening the Arcana book.
"Don't mind what Lucas says. That's his nature, but he's a caring leader," Aurora said.
Arryn nodded. Although his words were somewhat hurtful and cornered him, he could fully understand what Lucas was saying.
"Can I ask you something, Aurora?" asked Arryn. Aurora nodded with a smile.
"What were you and Lucas doing earlier?" asked Arryn, with sharp eyes glancing at the girl.
Aurora widened her eyes. The girl had not expected Arryn to see what they had done. Aurora's head was bowed in shame with a blush on her face.
"Did you see it?" asked Aurora softly.
"Not so clearly. Ivy told me," Arryn replied.
"Ivy?"
Suddenly Ivy appeared in front of Aurora. She was still perched on Arryn's shoulder with her eyes fixed on Aurora.
"Oh, her. You're right. We did that there," Aurora replied, her voice lowering.
"You know, I can report what you did to the librarian with Ivy as a witness," Arryn threatened, sitting up as he folded his arms across his chest.
Aurora's head shot up, her eyes widening with her mouth open. She begged Arryn not to tell anyone about what she had done with Lucas.
Aurora explained that she had to do it because Lucas needed something about a girl's body. Aurora also said she had feelings for Lucas, but she was a quiet girl, and expressing her feelings was more difficult than arranging Arcana.
"I'm not going to report that. You did me a favor when Lucas kept insulting me. I'll keep both of your secrets safe," Arryn explained, a debt of gratitude rewarded with a secret.
Aurora smiled with relief. She didn't have to worry about the punishment that might come to her if Arryn reported the incident.
"You said earlier that I have magic that no one should know about, right?" asked Arryn. Aurora nodded slowly.
"You're true. Many people can't know my original magic because it could threaten my life," Arryn explained.
"Can you briefly explain what kind of magic you have?" asked Aurora, still curious.
It had been a long time since he had cast the magic spell. It seemed like there was no harm in showing Aurora a magic spell. After all, Arryn himself had something that could threaten the girl if she leaked it to anyone.
"But you have to promise to keep this a secret?" asked Arryn. Aurora nodded while raising her hand, swearing.
Arryn immediately stretched his hand forward, casting a magic spell that was harmless to him.
[Summoning System: Two Different Worlds]
Instantly a white portal of light appeared near Arryn, shaped like a cloud that surprised Aurora. The girl had never seen such magic before, so naturally, she responded like that.
"What does this portal do?" asked Aurora, walking closer to the white portal but not entering it.
"A world you've never seen before."

Arryn invited Aurora, standing next to him, to enter the portal. At first, she was afraid and anxious, but after Arryn convinced her, she decided to enter the portal of light. Aurora was surprised when her feet felt like she was stepping on something warm and soft. The girl kept walking out of curiosity until she stopped in front of a shady coconut tree. Arryn followed Aurora from behind as he looked right and left. He and Aurora were now on a seemingly deserted island. White sand, blue waves, and shady trees welcomed the sea wind. Now, Arryn again didn't know which world he was in. "So, your original magic power is time and space travel?" asked Aurora, her eyes rounding as if impressed by Arryn's magic. "Something like that," replied Arryn, walking to Aurora, playing near the seashore. "Wow, that's awesome magic!" praised Aurora. Arryn smiled as he joined the girl in the water. The two of them enjoyed the moment together until the sun began to fall into the evening. Aurora sat
"Fifth day? I haven't arranged my Arcana yet," Aurora replied. Arryn turned his head slowly to look at the girl hiding behind his back. He realized that this was all his fault. Arryn was unable to estimate how much time was spent inside the portal. "My class is over. We'll meet again next week," said Riviela. It was a coincidence that their instructors were both in the same room. "Did you give us another assignment?" asked Aurora, her mind filled with anxiety about missing Riviela's class. "You have to learn all the spells of basic five-element magic. While practicing, you may feel changes in your body according to the chosen Arcana," replied Riviela. Aurora nodded obediently. She had no problem with five-element magic considering she had mastered it long ago. However, Aurora was still worried about her Arcana, which had not been completed. "Sage Quentin. Can I ask you a favor?" asked Arryn, turning his head to look at the man standing before him. Quentin nodded, his hands folde
*** The following day Aurora's Arcana arrangement went faster than Arryn had expected. Aurora felt different compared to Arryn when adjusting the Arcana to her body. Aurora felt warm and excited after a few minutes of doing the final Arcana setup. Different feelings were felt by people, including Aurora. Now, Arryn was not with the girl. He was still silent as he stared at the roof of his bedroom. "Aren't you going to try your magic again, Arryn?" asked Ivy, staying close to Arryn. "My magic? It seems not, Ivy. Don't you remember the advice Quentin gave me?" asked Arryn, turning his head as his eyes looked at Ivy perched on the nightstand to Arryn's right. Ivy knew and remembered the advice Quentin had given Arryn, especially about the effects of the young man's original magic. Quentin had clearly said that Arryn was forbidden to use his original magic under any conditions, whether in Riviela's classes or during his spare time. "But if you worry too much about Quentin's advice,
"But Quentin must know that you've broken his advice," Ivy said. Arryn nodded. What Ivy said had some truth to it. "You're right, but even though he'll scold me, he'll be very interested when he sees what I find," Arryn replied. "I won't push you. You will do it, and you will be responsible for it," Ivy said, flying next to Arryn and starting to use her invisible ability. Arryn decided to go visit Quentin's office. He wrapped the reptilian head in a large piece of cloth to avoid panic in this place. Ivy flew off to follow Arryn wherever she went, unseen. Even though the reptilian head was well wrapped, blood continued to flow down the cloth. Surprisingly, not a single person had any intention of questioning this. They seemed to pass by unconcerned about Arryn even though they saw the strangeness in the cloth Arryn was carrying. "What caused them to be so indifferent to you, Arryn?" asked Ivy. She, too, felt the strangeness shown by the people in this place. "I don't know. It see
*** Arryn didn't understand what Quentin meant to him. Making him the most advanced magic user would take a long time. Arryn wondered, would Quentin teach him directly about it? He and Ivy began to leave Quentin's office after there was nothing more to talk about. The two left, heading toward the Obelisk library. Unlike them, the apprentices in Riviela's class began practicing basic magic skills. Arryn certainly didn't want to be left behind them. He borrowed a book on basic magic and started practicing it in the backyard of the Obelisk tower. "I don't understand Quentin's intention at all," Ivy said, discussing what Quentin had said to them earlier. "I'm sure he was too excited about the discovery to imagine such a thing," Arryn said. "But to reach the Noble Tier takes a long time. There are many requirements you must complete," Ivy replied. Arryn agreed with Ivy's words. After all, it took a lot of effort to reach that level. Arryn was sure that Quentin also took much time to
In Alicia's eyes, the color of mana released by Arryn was dark blue, almost reaching black. In contrast to Quentin and the others, it was more light-colored such as red, yellow, light blue, green, and white. "Do you know where your strength comes from, Arryn?" asked Alicia. Arryn wondered what Alicia meant by saying that. Did she want to know about Erina? According to Arryn, there was nothing important to tell Alicia about the origin of her powers. "Everyone else doesn't know about it because they get it at birth," Arryn explained, using someone else's analogy. Alicia continued to stare at Arryn's face with a smile. The woman realized something seeing Arryn's response. She realized that Arryn was lying to her. Even so, Alicia had no intention of bothering him further. Alicia understood that Arryn was trying to hide it because of the type of mana he had belonged to the dark type of mana. Only certain races had a type of mana like Arryn, one of them was the demon race currently at
"We should return to Athanor. I don't know if time in this place goes faster or slower," Arryn pleaded, concerned that he might lose a few days in Athanor if he remained in this world. But Alicia wasn't listening. She was more concerned about the unique inhabitants of the world they had arrived in than Arryn's anxiety. She asked him to stay in this world longer to get to know the behaviors and characteristics of the people. "But on one condition, we must leave after one hour after our arrival," Arryn explained, insisting. Alicia nodded as Arryn instructed. The woman cheerfully walked along the river to arrive near a beautiful waterfall. She could see the three rabbits who looked frightened while covering their furry bodies with a piece of cloth. Their behavior truly looked like that of a human. "Don't make a sudden move like that; you'll scare them off," Arryn said, stepping slowly toward Alicia, who looked very enthusiastic. The three rabbits immediately went into the forest's d
Arryn certainly doesn't want anything bad to happen to them, especially since both are in a world with different people from Athanor. Alicia was the same. She didn't want Hunt to leave her, especially since the two of them had been together for 20 years. "Can you detect their presence with your mana detection abilities?" asked Arryn. Alicia fell silent with her head up. "I don't know if my magic works in this world as it did in Athanor," Alicia replied. "Try it," Arryn pleaded. Alicia quickly did as Arryn asked. The woman stretched her hand forward, casting her magic spell to see which path they had left behind. [Summoning System: Mana Tracking] Alicia's eyes suddenly began to glow bright white. She could see a collection of mana of various colors appearing before her eyes, but there was no single type of mana that Hunt showed. Alicia knew very well what Hunt's mana color was. "I saw various traces of mana, but none of them were similar to Hunt," Alicia explained. She quickly de
