Arryn invited Aurora, standing next to him, to enter the portal. At first, she was afraid and anxious, but after Arryn convinced her, she decided to enter the portal of light.
Aurora was surprised when her feet felt like she was stepping on something warm and soft. The girl kept walking out of curiosity until she stopped in front of a shady coconut tree.
Arryn followed Aurora from behind as he looked right and left. He and Aurora were now on a seemingly deserted island.
White sand, blue waves, and shady trees welcomed the sea wind. Now, Arryn again didn't know which world he was in.
"So, your original magic power is time and space travel?" asked Aurora, her eyes rounding as if impressed by Arryn's magic.
"Something like that," replied Arryn, walking to Aurora, playing near the seashore.
"Wow, that's awesome magic!" praised Aurora.
Arryn smiled as he joined the girl in the water. The two of them enjoyed the moment together until the sun began to fall into the evening.
Aurora sat down on the white sand, looking ahead while still wearing her clothes, even though they were wet and dirty. Arryn arrived carrying two coconuts. He prepared the coconuts using magic and some stones.
The girl in front of Arryn smiled as she held out both hands, accepting the coconuts from Arryn.
"If your magic power is time and space travel, why are you worried that people will chase you?" asked Aurora. She was still curious about what Arryn had said a few moments ago when they were still in the Obelisk.
"Because my magic isn't just time and space travel magic. My magic can kill a person," replied Arryn.
"M-Murder?" asked Aurora, surprised.
Arryn nodded while occasionally taking a sip of her coconut water. Arryn's eyes continued to look at the circle of sunlight that seemed to be sinking into the sea, a sign that time was about to turn dark.
"My magic power... has killed many people in my village," Arryn said.
Aurora stopped her activities when she heard Arryn's explanation and began to take a position to keep her distance from Arryn.
Arryn himself didn't mind. That was a natural response from her knowing that the person beside her was a murderer.
"T-Then why did you come here?" asked Aurora, frightened.
"I want to control my power. I don't know how to use it properly."
Arryn turned his head to look at Aurora, who had sat far from him. Arryn smiled as he was glad to have a friend he could trust.
"That's why I didn't want to show it. I was worried that my magic would hurt people again," Arryn replied.
Aurora narrowed her eyes. At first, Aurora thought the young man beside her was bad. However, after hearing Arryn's sincere confession. Aurora concluded that Arryn wasn't as bad as he thought.
"I see. Why didn't you discuss it with Lord Sage Quentin? I saw that during the first meeting, you spoke so casually with him," Aurora said.
"Even Sage Quentin doesn't know about my powers. I dunno. I guess I'll have to read many books to find a suitable reference," said Arryn. Aurora nodded.
The sunlight that had been the light for the two of them began to disappear. The situation on the island was so dark that Arryn had to open the magic portal again to bring the two of them back.
But Aurora stopped him. She said that this place wasn't too bad for a talk; Aurora had dreamed of having a house close to the beach since she was a little girl.
In the end, they both decided to stay put in this place until the night was really late. Aurora and Arryn went to the forest's depths to look for firewood. Not only that, but they also looked for food in the forest as if they were surviving.
The fire from the campfire burned brightly, giving warmth and light to the two people. They went back to talking about other things, but Aurora was the one who told the most.
"I've heard there's a magic academy in Ravengarden. Why don't you study at the academy?" asked Arryn.
"The cost of studying at the academy is so high. I come from a well-off family. I can't keep bothering my parents," Aurora replied, continuing to flip the rabbit meat Arryn had found in the forest.
"Is that so? I heard that you were the student who made it in with the highest test scores. Is that true?" asked Arryn, Aurora nodding with a small smile.
"Wow. I didn't enter through the usual entrance like you. I don't know, I'm a little bit confused about that," replied Arryn, taking the cooked rabbit meat together with Aurora eating the food.
The sky in that place was so clear without clouds, the stars scattered with the two main orbits of the planet. It was the first time Arryn had seen a place with two natural orbits, and so was Aurora.
They spent about five hours together as if they were on a date on this island. Aurora asked Arryn to return to their original place.
"I can take us back, but I can't decide where we'll arrive," Arryn replied, talking about the possibility that they might be landed in a place far from the Obelisk.
"Really? Maybe if you imagine a place you've been, the portal will lead there," Aurora replied.
What Aurora said might work might not. Arryn chose to try it rather than none and let them figure out what to do if it didn't work.
Arryn thought of a place that came to mind, Quentin's office. He didn't know why Quentin's office was the one that came to mind. Stretching his hand forward, Arryn began to chant his magic spell.
[Summoning System: Two Different Worlds]
A white portal opened before the two of them. Arryn was a little hesitant about the portal, but it was better to enter it than not. Arryn stepped into the portal first, followed by Aurora.
Arryn closed his eyes as he walked, afraid they would get lost somewhere. However, a voice surprised him.
"Why are you here? How did you do it?"
Arryn opened his eyes and saw something that surprised and amazed him. He finally arrived at a room clearly imagined in his mind, Quentin's office.
Quentin asked the same question with his eyes widening at Arryn's sudden arrival. He was having a small meeting with several people discussing the missing Arryn and Aurora, one of them, their instructor, Riviela.
Aurora felt nervous because the people in front of her were important. The girl immediately hid behind Arryn's back when their eyes looked seriously at Aurora and Arryn.
"I did it!" said Arryn, his eyes staring at his palms with excitement.
Suddenly Arryn's body fell to his knees on the floor of Quentin's office. Aurora rushed over to Arryn, as did Riviela and Quentin.
Arryn felt his body so weak after traveling through the portal. But not for long; power emerged from within Arryn's body by emitting red light around his body.
"Looks like his Sarana item has activated," Riviela replied. Quentin nodded slowly.
"My Sarana item? But I'm not in the battle," Arryn explained.
"The system seems to detect that you're in a battle based on the mana usage of the magic you're casting," Quentin replied.
"Where have you two been?" said Riviela, worried with a serious look on her face.
Arryn turned to Aurora, who looked terrified to see the two of them. In the end, it was Arryn who had to explain to Riviela, Quentin, and the people in this place.
"We went to an island to talk to each other. We didn't spend much time there either, only about 4-5 hours," Arryn replied.
Quentin and Riviela suddenly widened their eyes. They were surprised to hear that the duration of Arryn and Aurora's trip was only short, not taking a day.
"Five hours?" asked Riviela, unexpectedly.
"Yeah, what's wrong?" asked Arryn, starting to get anxious.
Quentin suddenly grabbed both of Arryn's arms, helping him up.
"Don't you know what day it is?" asked Quentin, looking seriously at his son.
Arryn shook his head, confused by the meaning of Quentin's question.
"It is the fifth day since both of you went missing. The teleportation magic I attached to you is not working properly."

"Fifth day? I haven't arranged my Arcana yet," Aurora replied. Arryn turned his head slowly to look at the girl hiding behind his back. He realized that this was all his fault. Arryn was unable to estimate how much time was spent inside the portal. "My class is over. We'll meet again next week," said Riviela. It was a coincidence that their instructors were both in the same room. "Did you give us another assignment?" asked Aurora, her mind filled with anxiety about missing Riviela's class. "You have to learn all the spells of basic five-element magic. While practicing, you may feel changes in your body according to the chosen Arcana," replied Riviela. Aurora nodded obediently. She had no problem with five-element magic considering she had mastered it long ago. However, Aurora was still worried about her Arcana, which had not been completed. "Sage Quentin. Can I ask you a favor?" asked Arryn, turning his head to look at the man standing before him. Quentin nodded, his hands folde
*** The following day Aurora's Arcana arrangement went faster than Arryn had expected. Aurora felt different compared to Arryn when adjusting the Arcana to her body. Aurora felt warm and excited after a few minutes of doing the final Arcana setup. Different feelings were felt by people, including Aurora. Now, Arryn was not with the girl. He was still silent as he stared at the roof of his bedroom. "Aren't you going to try your magic again, Arryn?" asked Ivy, staying close to Arryn. "My magic? It seems not, Ivy. Don't you remember the advice Quentin gave me?" asked Arryn, turning his head as his eyes looked at Ivy perched on the nightstand to Arryn's right. Ivy knew and remembered the advice Quentin had given Arryn, especially about the effects of the young man's original magic. Quentin had clearly said that Arryn was forbidden to use his original magic under any conditions, whether in Riviela's classes or during his spare time. "But if you worry too much about Quentin's advice,
"But Quentin must know that you've broken his advice," Ivy said. Arryn nodded. What Ivy said had some truth to it. "You're right, but even though he'll scold me, he'll be very interested when he sees what I find," Arryn replied. "I won't push you. You will do it, and you will be responsible for it," Ivy said, flying next to Arryn and starting to use her invisible ability. Arryn decided to go visit Quentin's office. He wrapped the reptilian head in a large piece of cloth to avoid panic in this place. Ivy flew off to follow Arryn wherever she went, unseen. Even though the reptilian head was well wrapped, blood continued to flow down the cloth. Surprisingly, not a single person had any intention of questioning this. They seemed to pass by unconcerned about Arryn even though they saw the strangeness in the cloth Arryn was carrying. "What caused them to be so indifferent to you, Arryn?" asked Ivy. She, too, felt the strangeness shown by the people in this place. "I don't know. It see
*** Arryn didn't understand what Quentin meant to him. Making him the most advanced magic user would take a long time. Arryn wondered, would Quentin teach him directly about it? He and Ivy began to leave Quentin's office after there was nothing more to talk about. The two left, heading toward the Obelisk library. Unlike them, the apprentices in Riviela's class began practicing basic magic skills. Arryn certainly didn't want to be left behind them. He borrowed a book on basic magic and started practicing it in the backyard of the Obelisk tower. "I don't understand Quentin's intention at all," Ivy said, discussing what Quentin had said to them earlier. "I'm sure he was too excited about the discovery to imagine such a thing," Arryn said. "But to reach the Noble Tier takes a long time. There are many requirements you must complete," Ivy replied. Arryn agreed with Ivy's words. After all, it took a lot of effort to reach that level. Arryn was sure that Quentin also took much time to
In Alicia's eyes, the color of mana released by Arryn was dark blue, almost reaching black. In contrast to Quentin and the others, it was more light-colored such as red, yellow, light blue, green, and white. "Do you know where your strength comes from, Arryn?" asked Alicia. Arryn wondered what Alicia meant by saying that. Did she want to know about Erina? According to Arryn, there was nothing important to tell Alicia about the origin of her powers. "Everyone else doesn't know about it because they get it at birth," Arryn explained, using someone else's analogy. Alicia continued to stare at Arryn's face with a smile. The woman realized something seeing Arryn's response. She realized that Arryn was lying to her. Even so, Alicia had no intention of bothering him further. Alicia understood that Arryn was trying to hide it because of the type of mana he had belonged to the dark type of mana. Only certain races had a type of mana like Arryn, one of them was the demon race currently at
"We should return to Athanor. I don't know if time in this place goes faster or slower," Arryn pleaded, concerned that he might lose a few days in Athanor if he remained in this world. But Alicia wasn't listening. She was more concerned about the unique inhabitants of the world they had arrived in than Arryn's anxiety. She asked him to stay in this world longer to get to know the behaviors and characteristics of the people. "But on one condition, we must leave after one hour after our arrival," Arryn explained, insisting. Alicia nodded as Arryn instructed. The woman cheerfully walked along the river to arrive near a beautiful waterfall. She could see the three rabbits who looked frightened while covering their furry bodies with a piece of cloth. Their behavior truly looked like that of a human. "Don't make a sudden move like that; you'll scare them off," Arryn said, stepping slowly toward Alicia, who looked very enthusiastic. The three rabbits immediately went into the forest's d
Arryn certainly doesn't want anything bad to happen to them, especially since both are in a world with different people from Athanor. Alicia was the same. She didn't want Hunt to leave her, especially since the two of them had been together for 20 years. "Can you detect their presence with your mana detection abilities?" asked Arryn. Alicia fell silent with her head up. "I don't know if my magic works in this world as it did in Athanor," Alicia replied. "Try it," Arryn pleaded. Alicia quickly did as Arryn asked. The woman stretched her hand forward, casting her magic spell to see which path they had left behind. [Summoning System: Mana Tracking] Alicia's eyes suddenly began to glow bright white. She could see a collection of mana of various colors appearing before her eyes, but there was no single type of mana that Hunt showed. Alicia knew very well what Hunt's mana color was. "I saw various traces of mana, but none of them were similar to Hunt," Alicia explained. She quickly de
"What do you mean?" asked Arryn. Arryn turned slowly to Alicia, trying to understand what Hunt had just said. Ivy turned her body and asked the two beasts again. They spoke using their familiar voices, but both could understand what was being said. Several animals began to walk over after seeing the strange crowd from a distance. Alicia and Arryn stood up, distancing themselves from the animals to prevent anything terrible from happening to them. Arryn saw Ivy's head nod a few times, entirely understood by the tiger's explanation. "They have a prophecy that has existed for thousands of years. Their prophecy explains that this world will be destroyed if a human comes here," Ivy explained. "But we won't destroy their world by any means," Alicia replied, evading. "I know, but what they thought is different. They keep thinking of you as humans who will cause destruction," Hunt explained. Arryn looked at several animals that seemed to have uncomfortable expressions with their presenc
