"Fifth day? I haven't arranged my Arcana yet," Aurora replied.
Arryn turned his head slowly to look at the girl hiding behind his back. He realized that this was all his fault. Arryn was unable to estimate how much time was spent inside the portal.
"My class is over. We'll meet again next week," said Riviela. It was a coincidence that their instructors were both in the same room.
"Did you give us another assignment?" asked Aurora, her mind filled with anxiety about missing Riviela's class.
"You have to learn all the spells of basic five-element magic. While practicing, you may feel changes in your body according to the chosen Arcana," replied Riviela.
Aurora nodded obediently. She had no problem with five-element magic considering she had mastered it long ago. However, Aurora was still worried about her Arcana, which had not been completed.
"Sage Quentin. Can I ask you a favor?" asked Arryn, turning his head to look at the man standing before him.
Quentin nodded, his hands folded in front of his chest as his eyes locked with Arryn's. Riviela and Aurora also immediately focused on Arryn, curious about what he was about to say.
"I don't really understand Arcana because I've only been studying for a few days. You are a talented and experienced person. Can you help Aurora with her Arcana?" asked Arryn, making Aurora surprised.
Aurora suddenly walked up to Arryn, putting her head next to Arryn's ear. Aurora whispered something that basically was not to bother Lord Sage Quentin. Arryn heard what the girl said, but the help from Quentin was more realistic.
"Take it easy. I was asking him for advice anyway," Arryn replied.
"I don't want to bother him!" whined Aurora, narrowing her eyes at Arryn in annoyance.
"He won't be inconvenienced by me. Trust me, Aurora," Arryn replied.
He began to turn his head back to look at Quentin. The conversation between Arryn and Aurora could be heard by Quentin; besides the quiet atmosphere of the room, he also had a strong hearing ability.
Quentin admired Aurora's attitude, which he thought was a good girl. Aurora was good at adjusting to the people around her, so Quentin felt that Aurora was a typical girl who did not want to bother others, especially older, respected, and strong people like Quentin.
But Quentin also realized that this was all part of his mistake. He failed to detect Arryn's whereabouts and did nothing but keep discussing with the important people at the Obelisk.
As a form of responsibility from Quentin, he would provide the best Arcana advice for Aurora.
"Can you give us some time with these two apprentices?" asked Quentin, turning around with his eyes fixed on the Obelisk officials sitting behind him.
They nodded, not minding at all. One by one, they stood up and left Quentin's office with their files. Riviela was about to follow them, but Quentin stopped and told her to stay.
"What are you trying to do?" asked Arryn, confused.
"Didn't you ask me to help you arrange Aurora's Arcana?" asked Quentin, picking up the same book as when Quentin helped Arryn.
"Come here, Aurora," called Quentin. The nervous Aurora immediately stood up straight and took quick steps toward Quentin.
The two sat facing each other on the sofa. Books were displayed on the table as Quentin explained the details of the arcana items one by one.
Because she was talking to the most important person in Obelisk, Aurora looked awkward learning from Quentin, unlike Arryn, who smiled happily, seeing Quentin teach Aurora with all his heart.
"It will be an unforgettable experience," Riviela whispered to Arryn.
"Why is that?" asked Arryn.
"Sage Quentin is an influential person, not only in Ravengarden but also throughout the Athanor Empire. It is said that he often communicates with the Emperor," Riviela replied. Arryn widened his eyes, not expecting the connections Quentin had.
"Then I'm really lucky," Arryn whispered, speaking blankly.
Soon, Aurora began casting magic spells to bring up the Arcana rune panel. Her Arcana tree appeared to be filled with two additional drafts at the bottom of the panel.
"Wow, you've arranged it like this. It looks like you're familiar with the original power you have, Aurora," praised Quentin, his eyes mesmerized at the Arcana arrangement Aurora had made.
Riviela and Arryn were even more curious. They began to get closer to see what kind of Arcana arrangement managed to amaze Quentin.
Many arcana items were owned, but Aurora seemed to be using Spirity and Cleave items. Arryn guessed that Aurora seemed to want to increase her magic attack speed
"What kind of magic are you, Aurora?" asked Riviela, curious.
"I'm a unify user," Aurora said.
"A unify user? Is that elemental or summoner magic? Or is it time and space like Arryn?" asked Riviela, excited to hear that one of her students was a unify user.
Unlike Riviela, Arryn was confused by the term. As far as he knew, original magic was different, sometimes 'unique' like himself. However, Arryn had never heard of the unify type of magic.
"What is Unify?" asked Arryn, confused.
"Unify is one of the three types of someone's original magic. There's Rive and Unique," explained Riviela, turning to Arryn while explaining the three types of one's original magic.
"Unify is a type of magic that combines two different elements. The result of the magic can be lava, mud, steam, and ice. Not only elements but summoners as well and dimensional," Quentin replied, helping to explain the explanation of Unify.
Not only Unify, but Quentin also explained about Rive and Unique. Rive was an original type of magic with only one magic element, unlike Unique, which had a different type of magic from Unify and Rive.
"So, I belong to the Unique magic type?" Arryn asked Quentin.
Sage Quentin nodded his head. There was no denying that Arryn's magic was indeed unique, different from other magic. It could have been included in Unify, but magic users mostly categorized magic other than elements as Unique magic.
"Then can you show us your original magic?" asked Riviela, asking Aurora, who replied with a hesitant attitude from her.
"I'm a bit doubtful about showing it," said Aurora.
"It's okay, everyone has doubts at first, but you have to strengthen yourself," Quentin replied, encouraging Aurora to show her original magic to them.
After a long silence thinking about her anxious heart, Aurora finally agreed to show what her power was like. She began to step into the center of the room, spreading her arms wide.
[Summoning System: Land of Ice]
The air temperature in the room changed drastically. The wooden floor Aurora stepped on turned frozen with a circular area that continued to spread. The ice magic, a fusion of the two main elements, water and wind, became Aurora's main power.
Arryn, Riviela, and Quentin even had to lift their legs to keep from freezing, like what happened to the sofa and table. Arryn was impressed by the great power Aurora possessed.
[Summoning System: Magic Purifying]
Quentin cast a spell to neutralize any magic that appeared in this place. Aurora's ice movement stopped, and all frozen items instantly melted.
Aurora opened her closed eyes, seeing Arryn and Riviela crouched on the sofa while Quentin stood tall with his right hand extended forward.
Aurora was anxious and scared, worried that her magic had hurt the three of them.
"W-Were you hurt?" asked Aurora nervously.
"No, I'm not. I just feel cold," Arryn explained.
Quentin walked over to Aurora, holding the girl's shoulders lightly, "You have incredible power."
"Is that so?" asked Aurora, confirming with a smile.
Arryn and Riviela nodded unison, as did Quentin, who thought Aurora's strength was already at the level of second-tier magic users.
Quentin told Aurora to reopen her Arcana Runes. According to her strength, he had prepared the right Arcana arrangement for the girl.
"Alright. Now we'll start arranging The Arcana according to your original magic."

*** The following day Aurora's Arcana arrangement went faster than Arryn had expected. Aurora felt different compared to Arryn when adjusting the Arcana to her body. Aurora felt warm and excited after a few minutes of doing the final Arcana setup. Different feelings were felt by people, including Aurora. Now, Arryn was not with the girl. He was still silent as he stared at the roof of his bedroom. "Aren't you going to try your magic again, Arryn?" asked Ivy, staying close to Arryn. "My magic? It seems not, Ivy. Don't you remember the advice Quentin gave me?" asked Arryn, turning his head as his eyes looked at Ivy perched on the nightstand to Arryn's right. Ivy knew and remembered the advice Quentin had given Arryn, especially about the effects of the young man's original magic. Quentin had clearly said that Arryn was forbidden to use his original magic under any conditions, whether in Riviela's classes or during his spare time. "But if you worry too much about Quentin's advice,
"But Quentin must know that you've broken his advice," Ivy said. Arryn nodded. What Ivy said had some truth to it. "You're right, but even though he'll scold me, he'll be very interested when he sees what I find," Arryn replied. "I won't push you. You will do it, and you will be responsible for it," Ivy said, flying next to Arryn and starting to use her invisible ability. Arryn decided to go visit Quentin's office. He wrapped the reptilian head in a large piece of cloth to avoid panic in this place. Ivy flew off to follow Arryn wherever she went, unseen. Even though the reptilian head was well wrapped, blood continued to flow down the cloth. Surprisingly, not a single person had any intention of questioning this. They seemed to pass by unconcerned about Arryn even though they saw the strangeness in the cloth Arryn was carrying. "What caused them to be so indifferent to you, Arryn?" asked Ivy. She, too, felt the strangeness shown by the people in this place. "I don't know. It see
*** Arryn didn't understand what Quentin meant to him. Making him the most advanced magic user would take a long time. Arryn wondered, would Quentin teach him directly about it? He and Ivy began to leave Quentin's office after there was nothing more to talk about. The two left, heading toward the Obelisk library. Unlike them, the apprentices in Riviela's class began practicing basic magic skills. Arryn certainly didn't want to be left behind them. He borrowed a book on basic magic and started practicing it in the backyard of the Obelisk tower. "I don't understand Quentin's intention at all," Ivy said, discussing what Quentin had said to them earlier. "I'm sure he was too excited about the discovery to imagine such a thing," Arryn said. "But to reach the Noble Tier takes a long time. There are many requirements you must complete," Ivy replied. Arryn agreed with Ivy's words. After all, it took a lot of effort to reach that level. Arryn was sure that Quentin also took much time to
In Alicia's eyes, the color of mana released by Arryn was dark blue, almost reaching black. In contrast to Quentin and the others, it was more light-colored such as red, yellow, light blue, green, and white. "Do you know where your strength comes from, Arryn?" asked Alicia. Arryn wondered what Alicia meant by saying that. Did she want to know about Erina? According to Arryn, there was nothing important to tell Alicia about the origin of her powers. "Everyone else doesn't know about it because they get it at birth," Arryn explained, using someone else's analogy. Alicia continued to stare at Arryn's face with a smile. The woman realized something seeing Arryn's response. She realized that Arryn was lying to her. Even so, Alicia had no intention of bothering him further. Alicia understood that Arryn was trying to hide it because of the type of mana he had belonged to the dark type of mana. Only certain races had a type of mana like Arryn, one of them was the demon race currently at
"We should return to Athanor. I don't know if time in this place goes faster or slower," Arryn pleaded, concerned that he might lose a few days in Athanor if he remained in this world. But Alicia wasn't listening. She was more concerned about the unique inhabitants of the world they had arrived in than Arryn's anxiety. She asked him to stay in this world longer to get to know the behaviors and characteristics of the people. "But on one condition, we must leave after one hour after our arrival," Arryn explained, insisting. Alicia nodded as Arryn instructed. The woman cheerfully walked along the river to arrive near a beautiful waterfall. She could see the three rabbits who looked frightened while covering their furry bodies with a piece of cloth. Their behavior truly looked like that of a human. "Don't make a sudden move like that; you'll scare them off," Arryn said, stepping slowly toward Alicia, who looked very enthusiastic. The three rabbits immediately went into the forest's d
Arryn certainly doesn't want anything bad to happen to them, especially since both are in a world with different people from Athanor. Alicia was the same. She didn't want Hunt to leave her, especially since the two of them had been together for 20 years. "Can you detect their presence with your mana detection abilities?" asked Arryn. Alicia fell silent with her head up. "I don't know if my magic works in this world as it did in Athanor," Alicia replied. "Try it," Arryn pleaded. Alicia quickly did as Arryn asked. The woman stretched her hand forward, casting her magic spell to see which path they had left behind. [Summoning System: Mana Tracking] Alicia's eyes suddenly began to glow bright white. She could see a collection of mana of various colors appearing before her eyes, but there was no single type of mana that Hunt showed. Alicia knew very well what Hunt's mana color was. "I saw various traces of mana, but none of them were similar to Hunt," Alicia explained. She quickly de
"What do you mean?" asked Arryn. Arryn turned slowly to Alicia, trying to understand what Hunt had just said. Ivy turned her body and asked the two beasts again. They spoke using their familiar voices, but both could understand what was being said. Several animals began to walk over after seeing the strange crowd from a distance. Alicia and Arryn stood up, distancing themselves from the animals to prevent anything terrible from happening to them. Arryn saw Ivy's head nod a few times, entirely understood by the tiger's explanation. "They have a prophecy that has existed for thousands of years. Their prophecy explains that this world will be destroyed if a human comes here," Ivy explained. "But we won't destroy their world by any means," Alicia replied, evading. "I know, but what they thought is different. They keep thinking of you as humans who will cause destruction," Hunt explained. Arryn looked at several animals that seemed to have uncomfortable expressions with their presenc
They had nothing to do except follow the orders of the Demon Kingdom's soldiers. The four soldiers put iron shackles on Arryn's and Alicia's hands, ordering the two humans to walk away from this hill toward the Demon King's palace. Different from the four soldiers, the commander of the soldiers didn't seem to talk at all. In fact, he didn't say anything at all. Arryn looked over occasionally, watching the monster while wondering where its mouth and nose were. Arryn began to walk along the main road connected to the top of the hill to reach the bottom, precisely in a small village, before arriving at the capital of the Demon Kingdom, Zuhar. "Do you need my help, Arryn?" asked Ivy. She still accompanied Arryn wherever he went, even though he was shackled and taken to the Demon King's palace. " No, there's no need. I have other plans, Ivy," Arryn explained. "Stay close to me. I don't want to lose you again," Arryn continued. "I won't leave, don't worry, Arryn," Ivy explained. Arry
