The next day.
[Summoning System: Information Status]
[Welcome]
[Name: Arryn Vaughan]
[Level: 28]
[Title: Unknown]
[Job Class: Apperentice]
[Age: 17]
[HP: 660/660]
[MP: 710/710]
"I've really become a magic user, Ivy," explained Arryn, so happy to see the job class change in his status information.
"You're lucky to get your class, Arryn. Now you no longer need to deal with the Pantheon about job classes," Ivy replied.
Quentin explained in detail what a magic user was, level, then the highest achievement, to the things that had to be prepared to level up.
Quentin's level was already at the Noble Tier, the highest class level. It took him about seventeen years to become the sage he is now. Of course, with one goal, to save Arryn by guiding his strength.
"Master Quentin said something about an apprentice's advanced class," Arryn replied, trying to remember what Quentin had said yesterday.
"What's that?" she asked.
"I'd have to study the magic scriptures to figure out what it is," Arryn replied.
"Then you must go to the library to find the answers," Ivy explained.
"You're right." Arryn got up from the bed and prepared to leave; Ivy also intended to follow Arryn by flying by his side. However, when Arryn was ready to discover his curiosity in the library, someone knocked on the bedroom door.
Arryn opened it and saw a man arrive carrying Arryn's stuff; a uniform and a small wooden staff with a round stone at the tip.
He handed it over to Arryn while saying that this uniform had to be worn by an apprentice. At first, Arryn refused because the uniform looked tacky and uncool, but the man insisted on Quentin's orders.
In the end, Arryn agreed to wear the uniform; white with a black pattern on the sleeves and collar uniform. The colour was the opposite of the uniform colour of the youths he had seen before.
"I've seen several young men wearing black uniforms come out of this building; they also hold a different tool. Who are they?" Arryn asked, curious to know.
"They're second-tier magic users. They do wear uniforms like that," replied the man. Instead, he was wearing a dark blue uniform with white motifs on several sides, and a badge was also visible on the upper left chest.
"Then you are a magic user at a higher level than the second tier?" Arryn asked, confirming.
The man nodded while showing a silver badge on his left chest, a symbol that Arryn did not recognize at all.
"You're right. I'm an Illusionist," the man answered.
"When you're done wearing your uniform, come to the hall on the fifth floor," said the man, starting to walk away from Arryn.
The young man obeyed and immediately changed his clothes with a little grunt. Although his appearance is much different when seen from the mirror in his room, Ivy compliments him for looking like a real mage.
"Your style this time is much better than that simple outfit. I see you really are like a powerful mage," Ivy replied.
"I am strong indeed. I can kill everyone in one village with my strength," Arryn replied jokingly.
"Don't use that power when practising magic. You don't know what the impact will be if you use it too often," Ivy asked. She was worried for Arryn's safety when she remembered the magic spell.
Arryn nodded. The preparations had been completed, and he started to walk out of his room on the second floor. Ivy followed Arryn's steps and flew beside the young man using her invisible power.
All the way up to the fifth floor, none of the people Arryn met were dressed the same as him. Instead, many of them were second-tier magic users.
Because he wasn't used to climbing many stairs from the second to the fifth floor, Arryn's trip was hampered to rest.
Even Arryn had to spend thirty minutes to arrive at the hall. Then, finally, the hall door opened, and a place with the significant ground was visible in front of Arryn.
Not only the ground but there are also many seats with a higher position than the field. The audience seats are made in a circle so they can see from all directions. Truly a place that can make the heart beat faster.
He arrived and saw several people dressed the same as him. Arryn counted carefully; there were around fifteen people.
"Is he the young man you are referring to?" asked Riviela, the woman who served as an instructor for apprentice magic users.
Quentin, standing nearby, just nodded while his hand scratched his head, feeling guilty for his son's delay.
Arryn walked in the middle of the hall without guilt; the other apprentices seemed to stop their activities while giving Arryn strange looks.
"Did you call me here, Master Quentin?" asked Arryn.
It was a very common question for Arryn but extraordinary for the people in this hall. They wondered how Arryn could get along with Sage Quentin so well; not even some apprentices dared to talk nonsense to Quentin.
"You're late!" Quentin insisted, folding his arms across his chest.
"I'm sorry, I'm not used to the stairs in this place," Arryn replied, lowering his head while joining his palms together.
You can see Quentin starting to stare at the woman beside him. Riviela nodded with a smile, understanding what she should do with Sage Quentin's child.
Surprisingly, Quentin disappeared quickly from Arryn's presence. This left Arryn confused and wondering what he would do in this place.
"What am I going to do here?" Arryn asked curiously.
"You will learn many magic lessons you never got before," replied Riviela.
The woman invited Arryn to step towards a table, were already placed a crystal ball with all the accessories. Both stopped right in front of the table; Riviela told Arryn to put both hands on the ball.
Arryn did exactly what Riviela ordered. Surprisingly, the system notification in front of Arryn appeared. The contents of the system notification for his title's activation.
[Congratulations! You have unlocked the title 'Young Apprentice']

Riviela immediately pressed the use button with her finger, and the system returned to display another pop-up in front of Arryn's face.
[Title successfully used]
"What's this?" he asked.
"This title is a requirement to join my class. Master Sage Quentin didn't tell you, did he?" asked Riviela, pulling Arryn's hands from above the crystal ball.
Arryn shook his head; he did not remember Sage Quentin asking him to join a magic class. The man only explained the class and level to Arryn yesterday; even then, Arryn forgot the name of the class at each level.
"All right, everyone gathers," Riviela requested.
All the apprentices besides Arryn stopped what they were doing and stepped closer to Riviela, their instructor. Arryn looked at all of them one by one, no one he knew, and they looked like they were experts.
"Now everything is complete; Today, as a class opener, we will-"
"Wait for a second!" Riviela stopped talking and looked at Arryn with a different eye colour, yellow in the pupil area.
The woman saw the presence of a pet that had magical abilities located beside Arryn. Riviela was surprised; how could an apprentice like Arryn form a contract with a magus pet in his current tier?
"My class is only allowed to be joined by humans. Other than humans, they are prohibited from participating, "said Riviela.
Arryn gasped in surprise. All the other apprentice's eyes were fixed on the young man, and Arryn couldn't help telling Ivy to leave the hall.
"All right. Can I wait in the audience seats, pretty lady?" Ivy asked, again surprised.
Riviela nodded, inviting Ivy to stay here with one condition; Ivy had to reveal her form and not be in invisible mode at all.
Not long after, Ivy revealed her form to everyone except Arryn, who already knew about it.
Ivy flew high and perched on a metal fence in the bleacher area. Now, all the attention is back on Riviela, who starts to continue her words.
"There are three tests that you must pass to be able to step into the second tier, one of which is mine," Riviela answered, making everyone focus without exception.
"We will meet seven times in two months; the last meeting I will use to test your skills." Riviela stood with her arms crossed. Riviela didn't know the apprentices' abilities in front of her, not even Arryn.
"Now, you form groups of four people. We call it a party," Riviela continued.
Arryn nodded. He moved his head to the right and left, looking to see if anyone would like to group with him. Suddenly a teenage boy came up to him and asked about the group.
"I don't have a group yet," Arryn answered.
"Then how about joining our group? We lack one person," explained the young man.
Arryn agreed to his request as he walked after him. Arryn meets two other friends who are all women.
They introduced themselves as Aurora and Lorelei; Aurora was a quiet type of girl, while Lorelei was active.
The name of the young man who invited Arryn was Lucius, a typical wise leader. But unfortunately, Arryn became the person who had a bad impression on the three people because of the delay and his pet.
Lucius put Arryn's name down on the piece of paper Riviela had given him. The woman returned to explain what each group needed to prepare.
"Go to the library and study The Codex Of Arcana. You are free to choose any references," Riviela explained.
He accepted all the papers with the apprentice's names listed. Riviela needs those names to be registered as examinees at the end of the second month.
"All right. For next week's meeting, I would like you to show me the arcana you have chosen," said Riviela.
The class ended with this brief lesson. Lucius came over to Arryn with a big smile.
"Hopefully, we can work well together, Arryn."
Some apprentices went straight to the library in groups, some with friends, and some alone. Arryn was still in the practice hall, standing with his group mates."When shall we go to the library?" Aurora asked, worried.Aurora certainly doesn't want to lose quickly to other groups, even though the results of the arcana compilation are individual work. Lucas fell silent, pondering whether it would be appropriate to look for the book now, considering that some apprentices may take more than one book to corroborate a theory."I think we should immediately go to the library to find references," Lucas replied."Then let's go," said Lorelei. She was the most excited when she saw the apprentices leaving this place.Arryn nodded, walking after them all out of the practice room. Ivy flew from the metal railing in front of the audience seats onto Arryn's shoulder.Ivy's sudden arrival surprised Arryn's three group mates. They were wondering about Arryn
"Then what about my friends who don't know about this?" asked Arryn. He was shocked and worried about the condition of his three group mates. “In each reference book, the risks are explained if you choose the wrong Arcana. If they're careful, they'll be able to do it right,” replied Quentin, walking up to Arryn while carrying a book about Arcana. Quentin opened the book and showed the arcana items in each type. Before he could start crafting it for Arryn, Quentin needed to explain this important matter to him. “Though I will guide you, you should know five items in the attack type arcana, starting from Spirity, Examiner, Bloodline, Yoaxin, and Cleave. Each item has a different status increase,” replied Quentin, pointing to the five red round items with a different symbol in the center of the circle. Not only the attack type arcana, but Quentin also explained the heal and support type Arcana. He needed to explain the three because, according to Quentin, Arcana's healing and support
*** The next day. "How are you feeling after the arcana arrangement yesterday?" asked Ivy, perched on a wooden chair with both eyes on Arryn. Arryn was still lying on his bed because he had nothing else to do. Lucas, Aurora, and Lorelei were still busy with their unfinished Arcana. Among the fifteen apprentices, Arryn was the only one who had finished crafting the Arcana. "Quentin said that the stage of adjusting Arcana to my body ended at midnight. I don't feel any different," Arryn replied, raising his right hand before his face. "It seems like your Arcana has integrated with your body well," Ivy said. Arryn nodded as he closed his eyes. "Then, do you have anything to do today?" Ivy asked again. Arryn was silent. The next lesson in Riviela's class would take place next week, so Arryn had plenty of time from today until next week. The books Arryn had read in Quentin's office weren't helping. No single text could explain dimensional magic's origin nor how to control it. Arryn
They immediately took their seats in a room commonly used for discussions. Aurora took the seat adjacent to Lorelei while Lucas took his seat at the side of the table. Lorelei began to open her reference book as she pointed out the arcana items written in it. Aurora and Lucas watched with moving eyes. Aurora nodded her head several times. She already knew the items of each type of Arcana, but Aurora chose to remain silent to avoid acting arrogant in front of her friends. "Before you choose the items to be attached, you must understand what the Arcana is," said Arryn, sitting on the opposite side of Lucas. "I already understand what Arcana is. Can we continue to discuss these items?" asked Lorelei. Arryn looked at Lucas and Aurora, and they nodded in agreement with Lorelei's proposal. The three of them had learned what Arcana was and its functions yesterday. Not only that, Aurora had even made some plans for the items she would use. "You'd better show us your Arcana and explain wh
Arryn invited Aurora, standing next to him, to enter the portal. At first, she was afraid and anxious, but after Arryn convinced her, she decided to enter the portal of light. Aurora was surprised when her feet felt like she was stepping on something warm and soft. The girl kept walking out of curiosity until she stopped in front of a shady coconut tree. Arryn followed Aurora from behind as he looked right and left. He and Aurora were now on a seemingly deserted island. White sand, blue waves, and shady trees welcomed the sea wind. Now, Arryn again didn't know which world he was in. "So, your original magic power is time and space travel?" asked Aurora, her eyes rounding as if impressed by Arryn's magic. "Something like that," replied Arryn, walking to Aurora, playing near the seashore. "Wow, that's awesome magic!" praised Aurora. Arryn smiled as he joined the girl in the water. The two of them enjoyed the moment together until the sun began to fall into the evening. Aurora sat
"Fifth day? I haven't arranged my Arcana yet," Aurora replied. Arryn turned his head slowly to look at the girl hiding behind his back. He realized that this was all his fault. Arryn was unable to estimate how much time was spent inside the portal. "My class is over. We'll meet again next week," said Riviela. It was a coincidence that their instructors were both in the same room. "Did you give us another assignment?" asked Aurora, her mind filled with anxiety about missing Riviela's class. "You have to learn all the spells of basic five-element magic. While practicing, you may feel changes in your body according to the chosen Arcana," replied Riviela. Aurora nodded obediently. She had no problem with five-element magic considering she had mastered it long ago. However, Aurora was still worried about her Arcana, which had not been completed. "Sage Quentin. Can I ask you a favor?" asked Arryn, turning his head to look at the man standing before him. Quentin nodded, his hands folde
*** The following day Aurora's Arcana arrangement went faster than Arryn had expected. Aurora felt different compared to Arryn when adjusting the Arcana to her body. Aurora felt warm and excited after a few minutes of doing the final Arcana setup. Different feelings were felt by people, including Aurora. Now, Arryn was not with the girl. He was still silent as he stared at the roof of his bedroom. "Aren't you going to try your magic again, Arryn?" asked Ivy, staying close to Arryn. "My magic? It seems not, Ivy. Don't you remember the advice Quentin gave me?" asked Arryn, turning his head as his eyes looked at Ivy perched on the nightstand to Arryn's right. Ivy knew and remembered the advice Quentin had given Arryn, especially about the effects of the young man's original magic. Quentin had clearly said that Arryn was forbidden to use his original magic under any conditions, whether in Riviela's classes or during his spare time. "But if you worry too much about Quentin's advice,
"But Quentin must know that you've broken his advice," Ivy said. Arryn nodded. What Ivy said had some truth to it. "You're right, but even though he'll scold me, he'll be very interested when he sees what I find," Arryn replied. "I won't push you. You will do it, and you will be responsible for it," Ivy said, flying next to Arryn and starting to use her invisible ability. Arryn decided to go visit Quentin's office. He wrapped the reptilian head in a large piece of cloth to avoid panic in this place. Ivy flew off to follow Arryn wherever she went, unseen. Even though the reptilian head was well wrapped, blood continued to flow down the cloth. Surprisingly, not a single person had any intention of questioning this. They seemed to pass by unconcerned about Arryn even though they saw the strangeness in the cloth Arryn was carrying. "What caused them to be so indifferent to you, Arryn?" asked Ivy. She, too, felt the strangeness shown by the people in this place. "I don't know. It see
