Ariel

Ariel sat on her swiveling chair with her head fixed on the computer screen that was staring at me. She took a deep breath that was filled with exhaustion and frustration. On one half was Stefan whose timer was counting not in her favour and on the other hand was Zen who she was having a hard time convincing.

“Damn it! It would cost this fool nothing nothing to get rid of that good for nothing called Stella. I wouldn’t be in this predicament if he had done that,” Ariel said aloud as her anger got the better of her.

She ran her hands through her hair as she tried to calm herself down. Her throat felt dry and she needed a drink. Ariel sprung to her feet and sauntered through the hallway until she was in the kitchen.

Light came on, flooding the room with its bright beams. Her eyes moved the room as her jaw dropped. The kitchen was sparkling. The housekeeper had definitely come in to clean because she remembered I didn’t leave it as clean as it was at the moment.
