I started to replicate two human bodies, one male and one female. I knew Fenrir was a wolf male and Hel was a female.
"Do you think these bodies are worth Fenrir and Hel?" I asked Terissa while inspecting the bodies in front of me.
"Yes, as long as those bodies will withstand their magic power. It will be alright when the magic cores are planted within them," she replied.
"Alright, I think the bodies are ready to be planted," I said before withdrawing two red sphere-like glowing stones. "Woah, are these rubies?"
"Nope. But those are the most expensive cores in this world. Now, you must replace the heart with those magic cores. Once you plant it, the cores will know what to do," Terissa said.
After listening to Terissa, I immediately wore gloves and picked the scalpel to make long wounds on the chest of each body. First, I removed the heart of the woman's body and replaced it with one of two cores. As I place the magic core, it molds into a heart replicating the one I remove. After stitching the wounds in the woman's chest, I moved to the male body and repeated what I made to the woman's body.
It's been two hours since I've been working, and I was almost done with my offensive bodyguards. I had to check and measure if the magic cores were working well, or else the bodies would never withstand the surge of power once those legendary creature spirits chose to enter the bodies I prepared.
"Don't worry about the bodies. As long as the magic core is inside, their power will be controlled," Terissa said.
For precaution, I planted some magic spells on each body in case of they decided to attack me, and the body would explode. You know, just for safety protocols since I don't have any idea about those two. In my world, they were described as two war-thirsty and loved to rampage.
All I have to do now is to finish their skin tones and activate the magic cores so that their magic core is imbued in the blood works. The magic core hearts started to beat, and the blood flowed normally.
"The bodies are ready. What will I do next?"
"We'll have to unseal them," Terissa said.
"And how will we do it? We don't even know where they were sealed," I told her.
"Use your elemental sight. Fenrir and Hel's power have potent elemental particles. Use it, and you can find them," she replied.
"So, how can I use it?"
"I'll activate it for you, and when next time you're going to use it, all you have to do is close your eyes and focus on looking for any elemental particles," she replied. "Now, close your eyes for ten seconds and then open it again."
Before doing what she said, I took the bodies in my storage box. Leaving them here while searching for Fenrir and Hel would be inconvenient.
I closed my eyes and counted one to ten before I opened it again. When I focused my eyes, everything seemed to be darker than the normal eyesight I had. But I can see a string of magenta and yellow elemental particles leading somewhere. I followed the particles, leading me to a room I had never explored yet.
Since the particles are dense here, Fenrir and Hel must have been sealed here. I opened the door and was greeted by an electric barrier surrounding two cylinders.
"As expected, this place is heavily protected by electric shock current," Terissa said.
"So, do you know how to deactivate that thing?"
"We don't have to. You can just unplug the thing to the left side of the room. That's what activated the barrier," she said.
I looked at what she said and almost laughed when I saw a power plug in a plug socket.
Seriously? Who in their right mind could do this? Plug? The electric barrier suddenly disappeared when I pulled the power plug to unplug it.
"Seriously? What kind of barrier was that?"
"Well, you can't blame the owner. No human survived to reach this room, and no evil creature dared to step into this house. No one figured out how to deactivate the barrier either."
I held my laugh and became serious again. But seriously, that was a dumb idea. That thing was normal in my world. When Terissa said I had to unseal it, she told me to unplug the power plug from the source.
I walk towards the two glowing cylinders after I take the bodies out of my storage box. I laid them on the ground and proceeded to open the containers. The magenta particles entered the woman's body, and the yellow to the male body.
I waited and waited and waited.
Finally, I saw them moving their fingers and flung their eyes open. My bodyguards are awake now. Both of them pulled themselves up and looked around.
"Are there any problems with your bodies?" I asked them.
They looked at each other, puzzled, and then looked at me.
"Who are you? And what a sore eye like you doing in here?" The man, who's probably Fenrir, questioned me.
"My name is Lancelot, but you can call me Lance for short, or if you prefer, you can call me Master," I said.
Suddenly, I felt a menacing aura coming from Fenrir.
"What did you say? We call you master?" he asked in an unbelievable tone.
"Yes, that's what I told you, right?" I replied.
"How dare you!?" he screamed. "You are nothing but a speck of dirt in our eyes, and you dare us to call you a master? You're an idiot! I'll kill you myself!"
Fenrir, in his human body, took me by the neck, but suddenly a bolt of electric shock electrified his body.
"Ahhhh!"
Fenrir was like a toasted human sprawled on the ground after being electrified. I can even see visible smoke from his mouth.
I looked at him and smirked.
"Looked like the body I gave you withstand the electrification, huh?" I told him.
"Y-you!"
"Yes, me," I said, crossing my arms. "I am a master of defensive magic, Fenrir, and I was the one who freed you and gave you a body. If you defy me, trying to kill me, you will be in trouble. Let's see how your body lasts, hmm. I was the one who freed you. At least give me credit. You would still be locked up in that cylinder without me," I told him.
"Well, I don't hate this," Hel said.
"What?" Fenrir looked at her.
"I actually love this body already."
"Fool!"
"Lower your pride, will you?" Hel finally drilled some sense into Fenrir's head after an argument. "This human gave us a chance to live again. You should at least thank him. You're free because of him."Fenrir looked fierce. He and I went into full battle using our eyes. And in the end, he lost and sighed. The two agreed to call me a master. And I did a full study of their bodies. "I need you two to do a few things so that I'll know if something is wrong with your body. Get up."My bodyguards then got up, with Fenrir mumbling something. I give them a few orders like walking, running, and even jumping. So far, there's nothing wrong with their bodies. Although the bodies were just replicas of humans, I'm not sure if they don't have any defects. I inspect them carefully. The skin wasn't ripping, so that's a good sign. Although Fenrir's body was electrified, he didn't acquire any wounds. "Is your body hurting or something?" I asked her. "No," he answered. "That's good," I told him.
So far, so good. We've been walking for a while and still haven't encountered any enemies. This is good. If this keeps up, we'll find a town, and possibly I could see an Adventure guild there. We were currently walking through a rocky plain and hadn't found any towns or villages yet. How long are we going to keep walking? It's good that I have maxed stamina, but it gets boring and mentally tiring. I wonder how Ace and Violet are. I took a look at them, and they appeared to be fine. Since they were both strong monsters, they didn't get tired or bored and looked the same. "Say, Terissa, if these two monsters were powerful, how powerful would they be?" I asked Terissa using Telepathy. "You should try checking their stats. You'll be able to use it like what you did to the dragon," she replied in a tone like, 'Omg, are you serious? You should have done it beforehand' manner. I used my appraisal sight and almost peed when I saw their power and skills. Ace and Violet overpowered me an
The village, towns, and cities are under the protection and watchful eyes of King Lockheart. The chief told me that each nation was protected by Aristocrats or royals that each God appointed after the war, and each nation was created and established. Those titles have been passed down from generation to generation. Since we were at Lakota Nation, we were in the King's territory. I was also informed that each ruler has been at odds with each other, and sometimes they battle each other. Yeah, I better stay away from that. I'll have to look at a few spells to help me prevent getting caught in the crossfire. And also, there's another thing I want to avoid, and I want to keep my abilities to myself. If people found out how I can do the things I can do, there's no doubt in my mind that I'll be used as some tool. I'll also have to ensure no one knows about Fenrir and Hel's true identity as the missing Celestial. The chief had told me the Gods of any nation don't want any other Celestials
When everything was ready, we left the village and headed to Redhorn Town, the closest town to this village. I acquired a carriage which I bought at a cheap price. It was broken, but I fixed it and upgraded it to last longer.A storage box was convenient for the horses and me since only the three of us were riding on them, and didn't weigh too much. During the trip to Redhorn, we decided to stop for the night and to prepare our dinner. "What's for our dinner?" Fenrir asked if he saw me preparing the folded table, I had pulled from the storage box. "Oven-cooked pork belly," I told him."Woah! Sounds tasty. How long will the cooking process take? I'm starving," he said. I could practically see saliva on his mouth. "I don't know. The usual pork in my world usually takes an hour to cook, but I don't know about the boar's pork here," I replied, pulling off the oven I replicated from Earth's typical oven. I upgraded it a bit, and instead of plugging it into any electric outlet, I fused
When Fenrir said he'd bring me tons of what he hunts, he didn't joke. There were huge deer, snakes, birds, bears, and oversized ostriches. The other pilled carcasses were pig-like creatures with two hands and feet. I don't know what it is, but I have a hint of what they were. The last pile was a huge wild boar with different skin colors and tusks. "You can sell what we don't need, but the meat will be ours," Fenrir said before lazily riding on the carriage as Hel, and I loaded the carcasses inside my storage box. After that, we finally started to move again. After a few days of traveling, we finally made it! It took us forever, but we finally arrived at Redhorn Town. As we approached the town, I noticed a watch tower that must have been used for scouting out intruders. We got to the entrance of the town and were stopped by guards. "Identification papers, please," One of the guards asked me. "I'm sorry, but I don't have any. I only got some permits here from the village chief," I
I told Ace and Violet not to attack anyone unless they were harmless or I could handle the enemy. The problem is I just remembered that I had to tell them not to attack in front of people as it would gather attention not only to me but to them too. Since Hel acted on her own, she smiled at me with a wicked smile. "I tried to restrain my strength," she told me with her oddly slit eye pupils. She blinked and changed it to normal human eye pupils. On the other hand, the drunkard got a broken arm while limping toward me. He held his broken arm with his non-broken hand and cried in pain. Everyone who saw this was in awe. I didn't want to cause a scene, but look what happened. So much for low-key defensive magic users, huh?Although Fenrir didn't do anything, I heard grunting and saw he was holding his wound. I need to check on it before things get worse. I dragged my bodyguards away from the scene to the nearest Inn and ordered a room. The receptionist offered us class A, probably an
As I entered our room, I found Fenrir lying down, burning hot. His face becomes pale, and it looks like he has a fever. "What happened?" I asked Hel, who was trying to cool Fenrir down. "He has been complaining about how painful his body was. I tried to massage him, but it got worse, Master", she replied "The infection may have been spreading, and the magic core inside him was trying to heal him," Terissa said. "Quickly, the magic core doesn't have any ability to heal, and you must create one now before everything is too late."I agreed with her and started to create one. I grind the pearls into powder and mix it with some nocturnal lotus oil I have found in the wild while we travel. I poured a bit of mint essential oil into a test tube and mixed it. I don't have any experience when it comes to creating healing potions, but all I need to know are my ingredients' properties, and I'll know what to do. I woke up one day. I already knew about creating something useful, which comes in
I used my appraisal skill on the young girl, and my eyes almost bulged out of my socket when I saw how powerful she was. Not only does she have a magic suppressor, but she can also wield the nine elements. Plus, she's freaking more powerful than Hel and Fenrir's combined power! Her elemental power is obviously suppressed, but still, she's beyond something else! I couldn't imagine how powerful she would have been if she hadn't hidden her full potential. Who in this world is this young girl? And why is she here? "No freaking way," I accidentally blabber out. "Y-you're more powerful than Hel and Fenrir. The little girl looked at me. "Ah, I can see that you are gifted with appraisal skill, otherworld lander," the young girl said. "That's good. I thought my sister failed to bless you before she died," she added. "Eh? Blessed? What do you mean?"The girl chuckled and urged me to go and register first before telling me who she was. When we reached the merchant guild, I immediately left a
