“Why don’t we take a walk?” Conor suggested, his voice breaking the quiet. “It’s a good way to start the day—clear our heads before we dive into everything.”

Kerrigan looked up from her letters, a small smile tugging at her lips. “I like that idea. Maybe we can make it a routine? Just the two of us. It’ll give us time to connect away from the chaos.”
