Chapter 5

Everyone in the restaurant laughed. They couldn't believe what the old man was saying, let alone Roland. He grinned while shaking his head. "That's impossible. Don't make up stories. A poor man like him can't possibly be the young master of this restaurant."

Several waiters looked at Aiden with condescending glances. "Young master he said. That old man must be out of his mind."

Roland grinned at the old man before him, then looked at the disheveled-looking Aiden. "You pathetic bastard. Already, you'd better get out of here! Don't fantasize about being a young master."

The old man raised his face while glaring at Roland. "Mind your tongue. I'm Muller, a confidant of the Robinson family, the owners of this restaurant."

The waiters were surprised to hear the name Robinson. "Gosh, isn't that the name of the richest family in town?"

"Gosh, that family has a lot of influence. I even just found out that this restaurant is one of their assets." They whispered to each other. The looks on their faces became increasingly panicked.

The old man walked slowly around the broken dishes scattered on the floor, then raised his cane, pointing at Roland and the waiters. "You have made a mistake. Therefore, you will all be punished!"

They were all surprised to hear that. "What? Punishment? What did we do wrong?"

Roland shook his head in fear. "We didn't do anything." He was evasive and did not admit his guilt.

Muller grinned. He looked around the room. There were several CCTV cameras installed. "All the evidence is there, recorded on the CCTVs."

Roland widened his eyes. He couldn't dodge it because it was clearly recorded on the CCTV of his extortion, the beating of Aiden, and the bullying of all the servants here.

They were all terrified and bowed at Muller's feet in unison. "Sir, please forgive us, sir."

Muller grinned, looking at Aiden. "You must kneel down and apologize to him!"

Those who were frightened crawled over, quickly moved, and knelt at Aiden's feet. "Forgive us."

Aiden didn't care about them. He even turned his gaze in another direction, reluctant to look at their faces now pleading for mercy.

Muller raised his hand up, then pointed at them. "Take care of them!"

The black-clad men moved over, clutching their hands. Two of them dragged Roland behind them. Two men in black held his hands, and another beat Roland's stomach. "Ah, forgive me!"

"No, please forgive us. Let go, we're really sorry. Aiden, please forgive us!" The waiters screamed for help to Aiden, breaking free from the assault of the black-clad men's hands.

The two waitresses screamed even more hysterically when they saw the waiters and Roland being beaten by the men in black. As if they had no mercy, they were beaten continuously.

Aiden was shocked to see the chaos, looking confused. Muller bowed his head respectfully as he raised his hand. "Follow me, sir."

Muller led Aiden out of the restaurant and brought him closer to a car parked in front of the restaurant. Aiden's eyes widened perfectly when he saw the luxury car. The driver bowed his head respectfully to Aiden, then opened the car door for them.

Muller extended his hand forward, inviting Aiden to come inside. "Please come in, young master."

A confused Aiden hesitantly stepped into the brand-new Rolls Royce, which he had only seen in movie footage. The price of the car was fantastic, reaching 500 dollars.

The advantage of the car wasn't just the price but its body was so strong that it was even predicted to be a bulletproof vehicle because if it collided with a truck, the truck would be destroyed.

Aiden looked at the seats and the car, which looked comfortable and luxurious. He couldn't believe he could ride in a luxury car with only three units worldwide. He thought it might just be a dream.

Muller smiled at Aiden, who looked happy. "Are you happy?" Aiden only replied with a nod, still surprised by all this.

The old man crossed his legs. "As I said inside, I am Muller. And I, was instructed by the Great Lord Victor to be your personal servant, sir."

Aiden's brow furrowed. Who the hell was that? He didn't know anyone named Victor. As if he could read Aiden's mind, Muller spoke again. "Great Master Victor is your grandfather."

Aiden's brow furrowed even more in response to Muller's words. He shook his head. "But I no longer have a grandfather. Perhaps you have the wrong person."

Muller shook his head with a friendly smile. "No, I'm not mistaken. You are the grandson of Master Victor, the owner of the restaurant."

Aiden couldn't believe what Muller was saying. He had only lived with his father after his mother died. "No way, you've got the wrong person. I'm just a poor man. Not the grandson of the restaurant owner."

Muller only smiled kindly in response to Aiden's words. "No, sir. You are indeed his grandson. We will take you to a place where you will stay for a while."

Aiden felt worried. He couldn't help but wonder if what the old man before him was saying was true. But he remembered what the old man had done to them at the restaurant. Aiden thought the old man must have the ability to do scary things.

Aiden was increasingly worried, imagining the bad things that might happen to him. "Are you lying and want to kidnap me? Don't kidnap me. I'm poor. I have nothing. There's nothing you can get from me, and even if you kidnap me, it's a waste because there won't be anyone willing to ransom me to give you money."

Muller laughed instantly. "I'm sorry." He straightened his seat, again trying to convince Aiden that he was Victor's grandson. "Well, I'll tell you. Your father's name is David. Am I right?"

Aiden gasped when he heard his father's name mentioned. How did that man know his father's name? This was impossible. He only answered with a nod of his head.

Muller smiled, then looked at Aiden closely. "Master David is Master Victor's only son. So, Master Victor is your grandfather."

Aiden still couldn't believe it. He'd been living with his father, and now suddenly, someone was saying he was the grandson of the restaurant owner where he worked. This really didn't make sense.

Aiden shook his head, still rejecting the fact. "That's impossible. I don't believe it. You must be making it up."

"I'll prove it to you if what I say is true." Muller reached into his coat pocket, pulled out a cell phone, swiped the screen, and dialed someone. "Send one hundred million dollars to the account I just messaged you about."

Muller smiled slightly as he hung up the phone. "I've already sent one hundred million dollars to your account."

Aiden looked at Muller in confusion. Was the man joking? After all, how did the old man know his account number? One minute later, Aiden's cell phone chimed. Aiden looked at his phone screen. Aiden's eyes widened as he received a message from the bank showing the receipt of one hundred million dollars.

"How is that possible?" Aiden was shocked. His hands were shaking because it wasn't a small amount of money. Aiden had never even seen that much money.

Muller smiled and raised his right hand. "How is it? Do you believe me now?"

Aiden was so dumbfounded that his hands were shaking. It was a large sum of money. There was no way the old man in front of him was cheating. "How did you get my account number?"

Muller leaned his back against the back of the chair. "That's an easy thing. Now, you believe me, right?" Aiden only answered by nodding his head. Now he believed.

Muller was the Robinson family's confidant who had always been trusted to take care of all the problems in the Robinson family. He was trusted because he had great abilities. That's why he could easily find data about Aiden and could manage it well.

Aiden lowered his head for a moment, then looked at Muller with a sad look. "Then what about that Master Victor?"

Muller stared blankly at Aiden's side. The look on his face seemed a little sad. "Your grandfather was a great man. The Robinson family is the richest family in the world, and can even control almost everything. However, right now your grandfather is in a bad way. The great lord is very ill and needs an heir to carry on his wealth. And you are the only heir in the Robinson family. Master Victor has no one. Now he only has you. He feels guilty for throwing Master David out."

Aiden looked at Muller with confusion. "Then why did he kick father out in the first place?"

Muller nodded his head with a heavy sigh. He leaned against the cushioned back of the chair, his eyes distant.

"Master Victor used to be so selfish that he kicked out his son. But just this past month, he thought he had made a big mistake. So he started looking for you and Sir David to apologize, but it turned out that your father had already passed away."

Muller looked sad saying that. Aiden smiled at Muller's words. "But why is he only looking for me now, after I've experienced such a bitter and miserable life alone?"

Muller looked closely at Aiden's face. "Because he needs an heir."

Aiden clenched one hand tightly, holding back his anger. "Can I see him?"

Muller bowed his head, then shook it weakly. "He can't see you because he has a reason."

Aiden frowned. "What reason?" There was a resentment in his heart that his grandfather was only looking for him now.

"Master Victor needs time," Muller replied in a soft tone of voice.

Aiden looked disappointed as he looked out the window. When he began to trust Muller, he couldn't even meet with his grandfather.

"You'd better accept this offer. Master Victor says that he will make you into a great man who will no longer be underestimated by others and become a feared heir. That's why he needs time for everything to be ready and for no one to doubt you as the heir to the Robinson family." Muller tried again to convince Aiden to accept his offer.

Aiden lowered his head as he shook it. "But I don't know what being an heir is like. I'm used to living in poverty all this time."

Muller straightened up and smiled kindly at Aiden. "Master Victor knows about your hard life so far and also about your unused intelligence due to dropping out of college. He believes that you can overcome it. Your life will certainly get better, too."

Aiden fell silent. His head felt heavy and full from all the new information he was getting. This was still shocking to him. Until the car they were in came to a stop. The driver opened the door for them. Aiden was surprised again with widened eyes when he exited the car.

Muller held his right hand up, pointing ahead. "We have arrived at our destination. This is where you will be staying for the time being."

In front of him stood the most expensive luxury villa in the city. Aiden had heard that from Lola, his ex-girlfriend. He had no idea he was standing in front of that villa.

The building was very tall, with the color white dominating. Aiden's eyes couldn't blink momentarily because of his amazement and fascination with the villa. He never imagined that the expensive villa would be his someday.
