Chapter 6

Aiden blinked a few times, then sat up to rub his eyes with the back of his hand. Last night, Aiden fell asleep as soon as he lay on the luxurious soft bed. At first, Aiden just wanted to try it out for a while. But it was so comfortable that he just fell asleep. He had never slept in a luxurious soft bed like this.

Aiden stroked the soft, fluffy mattress in amazement. "I thought this was just a dream. But I'm actually sleeping and living in this luxurious villa."

Aiden got out of bed and opened the balcony window. Letting the morning air into his room. Aiden still felt like this was all a dream. He tried pinching his arm, and it hurt. Suddenly, his cell phone rang. Aiden grabbed his cell phone, which he placed on the nightstand, and looked at the screen. There was an incoming call from an unknown phone number. Aiden picked it up immediately out of curiosity.

"Mr. Aiden, we from the bank would like to remind you that your loan repayment is due. You must repay the loan today. Otherwise, you will be in trouble with the authorities. Remember, the legal process continues." A sharp female voice from the other side reminded Aiden that he had borrowed money from the bank a few weeks ago.

Aiden had borrowed $1,000 to buy his ex a nice present. Even the silver ring was still neatly tucked away in his pants. Now, it was time to repay the loan. Aiden nodded his head. "Fine, I'll pay it off today."

"We'll wait. Thank you." The phone was disconnected from the bank with a sarcastic tone of voice.

Aiden put his phone back on the nightstand and went to the bathroom to clean up. After getting out of the bathroom, Aiden quickly got ready to put on his clothes. He put his cell phone in his pants pocket, then walked out of the room. The few servants who met him bowed their heads respectfully. Aiden had never gotten this kind of treatment before, as people would usually always look down on him.

One of the servants approached Aiden respectfully. "Excuse me Master, your breakfast is ready on the dining table."

Aiden nodded his head. "Thank you." He still felt awkward about being treated so well by the servants.

Aiden headed to the dining room, and Muller was already waiting for him. Muller bowed his head respectfully as he raised his hand, pointing to a chair at the dining table. "Please, Master Aiden."

Aiden looked at the dining table full of various types of food. All the menus were neatly arranged on the dining table. Starting from small meals to large meals. Fish, chicken, beef, and vegetables. Everything was served with different menus.

Aiden sat on the chair. The waiter poured water and put the food on Aiden's plate. He was served and treated like a king. Aiden glanced at Muller, who was just standing silently behind him. "You're not eating with me?"

Muller smiled while bowing his head respectfully. "No, Lord Aiden. All this food is for you. Please enjoy the meal."

Aiden began to eat his meal quietly. Every mouthful that entered his mouth tasted delicious and scrumptious. Aiden had never enjoyed such delicious food in his life. This was a luxurious meal for him. Until his stomach felt full of food.

Aiden put down his cutlery and drank a glass of water. He was done eating. Aiden glanced at Muller. Muller approached to stand beside Aiden. "May I help you, sir?"

Aiden furrowed his brow, looking a little hesitant to speak. "Is there a car I can use myself?"

"There is, sir. Let me show you the garage." Muller raised his right hand up, pointing towards the exit leading to the house's garage.

Aiden got up and walked in front of Muller and down to the garage. Aiden knew there must be a car inside. Muller opened the garage door. Muller invited Aiden to enter first, followed by him from behind. Aiden was surprised with wide eyes because the garage was filled with all kinds of luxury cars.

"I've prepared a car for you." Muller raised his hand, pointing to one of the most luxurious cars there, a Rolls Royce boat tail that cost hundreds of millions of dollars.

Aiden was mesmerized by the luxury car. He knew that it was the most expensive car in the world, with only three units. He had seen the car in a news story about a world celebrity who owned it at a fantastic price. Aiden had no idea that the car was for him. But Aiden wanted to avoid standing out and being famous for using that luxury car.

Aiden passed by the Rolls Royce casually, then looked to see which car was the cheapest in the garage. His gaze fell on the cheapest one there, but it was worth over 100 million dollars. "Can I use this car?"

Muller nodded his head respectfully. "Go ahead, Master. You can use any car here. It's all yours."

Aiden was happy to hear that he really didn't expect this to happen in his life. Muller gave him the keys to the chosen car, and Aiden got in. "I have to go somewhere."

Muller nodded his head while bowing respectfully. "Take care, sir."

Aiden drove the vehicle out of the garage after Muller opened the garage door. Aiden drove at high speed through the seemingly deserted streets. He arrived at the bank where he had borrowed money. He got out of the car, and a security guard at the bank's front door opened the door for Aiden.

Aiden went to the teller's desk. "I want to pay off my loan that is due today." Aiden gave his account card to the impatient-looking clerk behind the counter.

The clerk grabbed the card from Aiden's hand, then a second later, the clerk sneered at Aiden. "This card is invalid. It can no longer be used."

The officer was reluctant to deal with poor people because it wastes time. He thought the money on Aiden's account card wouldn't be enough to repay the loan Aiden had made. He hadn't tried to check the card because he was impatient with Aiden. After all, the clerk thought, poor people often acted rich when they came to the bank, even though the money in the account was no more than 500 dollars.

Aiden's brow furrowed. "How could the card be invalid? I just made a transaction yesterday."

"But the truth is that this card is indeed invalid and can no longer be used." The clerk chuckled in annoyance. She thought that Aiden was pretending to be confused. She put Aiden's card on the table. "That's it, just take the card with you. You'll have to pay your debt with cash. There's nothing on it anyway."

Aiden shook his head while staring at the card. "Check it again properly. You must have pressed the wrong button. There's no way the card is invalid."

The desk clerk glared at Aiden. "You're doubting my expertise? It's obvious that this card is invalid. Why are you so selfish and stubborn to force me to check it? That's it, you'd better get out of here! Don't make a mess."

"What?" Aiden didn't expect the officer behind the desk to be so haughty. "I'm just asking you to check it one more time. Just in case you pressed the wrong button on the machine and invalidated the card."

"Are you out of your mind? I've worked here for years and can't possibly make a mistake. You're really getting on my nerves. Perhaps you're just looking for an excuse not to pay the debt."

The officer behind the teller's desk waved her hand at Security. "Security! Please come here. This guy won't pay his debt and is threatening me!"

"What?" Aiden was surprised when the clerk behind the counter called Security and accused him.

The security guard at the bank approached the teller's desk. "Can I help you?"

"Arrest that man. He forced me to make a transaction even though the account card is invalid and cannot be used." The officer was accusatory and dismissive of Aiden.

Aiden was shocked. He looked sharply at the officer. "You must have lied. It was clear yesterday that my account could still make transactions."

The officer snorted in annoyance at Aiden's accusation. "Oh, you're doubting me? How dare you. How can you tell the difference between a valid and invalid card? What's a poor person like you doing anyway? I'm sure there's nothing inside this account card either." He looked at the Security. "Never mind, arrest and throw him out of here!"

The security guard grabbed Aiden's arm. "Come with me now."

Aiden threw the security guard's hand away. "Let go!" He pointed a finger at the officer behind the teller's desk. "You're lying! My card can't be invalid. It has 100 million dollars in it."

"You fraud!" the clerk behind the counter got up and pounded the table, not believing what Aiden said. "How could a man like you have 100 million dollars in an account. It's obvious from your appearance that it wouldn't be possible."

One of the customers who heard that laughed. "Really, 100 million dollars? Maybe he's just imagining things!"

"That's right. A poor man wouldn't have that much money!" Comments from other customers echoed through the room.

Aiden couldn't accept being accused of fraud, and it was clear that he knew how much money was on his account card. "I'm not a fraudster. Just yesterday, I made a transaction to receive 100 million dollars to my account card, which clearly means my card is still working!"
