"Why are there so many wounds on your face, Kenneth? This must be because of Alex and Luke, right? Grandma will go to campus tomorrow to demand justice!” Grandma Ana growled, feeling emotional.
"No grandma, let Kenneth solve this problem himself." Grandma Ana almost cried, unable to bear to see Kenneth's dire condition, she immediately wiped the water that had gathered in her eyes.
“If only you could live with your parents. You must be living very well Kenneth!” Grandma Ana rubbed the wound on her face imagining the pain of being attacked by Luke and Alex. The two brothers.
“I mean living with my parents in heaven? Grandma wants Kenneth to catch up with them quickly? Dead?" said Kenneth while smiling so that his grandmother wouldn't feel sad.
"It's not like that, grandma wants to tell you the truth but it looks like I have to treat your face first," continued Grandma Ana, changing the topic of conversation, feeling like she wasn't ready to tell the truth because she was worried about getting ahead of her.
"What do you want to say, grandma?" Kenneth asked curiously. Grandma Ana went to her room to get the medicine box and saw a photo of a happy little Kenneth on the table.
"Your smile is very cute, Kenneth, but lately you've lost it," said Grandma Ana, trying to cheer him up. Kenneth just took a deep breath and then helped Grandma Ana get the medicine in the nightstand drawer.
In the morning, Ana's grandmother prepared a breakfast of bread and a glass of milk as usual for Kenneth before going to campus, even though he was old, he was still able to serve all his needs.
"Even though just drinking milk is enough for Kenneth, why does grandma have to bother making milk?" Kenneth asked because he thought his grandmother didn't have much money to buy all that food.
"So that your body doesn't get sick easily." Kenneth smiled, feeling like the pain on his face had disappeared.
“Kenneth!” Grandma Ana called again while sitting in front of him with a serious face looking at this handsome man.
"What's wrong grandma?" he asked.
"Please take good care of yourself from now on, especially since people like Alex and Luke can make you battered, so what if a stranger also hurts you?" Kenneth was so shocked that he had to stop chewing the bread in his mouth because he heard what Grandma Ana had just said.
"What do you mean, grandma?" asked Kenneth in surprise
“You have to be able to fight them!” Ana's grandmother continued to advise her.
Kenneth didn't like Ana's grandmother saying that it would be better for him to go to college straight away and choose the ugliest clothes, so other students often mocked him for his sloppy appearance.
Alex and Luke had gathered with other students ready to welcome Kenneth's arrival, even Elena, a beautiful girl, was looking forward to the show that the two brothers would put on in front of her.
"Kenneth, where is my book and Alex's?" Luke asked with his chin held high showing his power to order Kenneth to do anything.
Kenneth took the backpack off his back then took two books with weak eyes and handed them to Luke.
"I hope there are no more loser men like you on campus, Kenneth," said Elena, looking displeased.
"The real losers are Luke and Alex because they only dare to bully the weak," said Kenneth, his face raised to look alternately at Luke and Alex with sharp eyes.
"Alex, look, Kenneth has dared to fight us!" Luke nudged his brother's shoulder.
"Since yesterday he has always been fighting and shouting!" Luke walked over to Kenneth, immediately grabbed his collar and then pushed him against the wall. Kenneth, remembering his grandmother's words, immediately pushed Luke hard until he walked backwards.
"How dare you bully the weak," said Kenneth, annoyed.
“Outrageous?! What are you doing?" Alex shouted and wanted to hit him, but as if Kenneth had memorized it, he quickly avoided it and even realized it.
"I've had enough of you three, feel this Luke, Alex," shouted Kenneth strongly.
“Luke, your nose is bleeding!” Alex screamed.
"What!" Luke, who had a phobia of blood, immediately fainted on the spot, causing all the students who witnessed the incident to immediately scream. Likewise, Elena was shocked and immediately recorded the incident and sent it to campus officials so that Kenneth would be punished.
"Finally we have proof of your crime, Kenneth. Just wait and see, the campus will give you strict sanctions!" Elena exclaimed while laughing out loud seeing Kenneth's pale face.
"You actually trapped me?" said Kenneth as he walked backwards and left the place.
Alex became even more angry when he saw Kenneth leaving. He asked one of the students to lift Luke, who was still unconscious.
"I won't let you go this time, Kenneth," said Alex, clenching his hands into fists.
“See he will follow and take revenge in a quiet place!” said Alex and his partner while monitoring Kenneth's departure from the top of the campus building.
"Good! I will order people to chase him until the end.” Alex looked at him with an emotional face then went to see Luke's condition in the campus health room.
Kenneth walked quickly without suspecting that he was feeling uneasy thinking about Elena's threat suddenly from behind the sound of a scream startling him.
“Let's catch him and take him to the abandoned warehouse!” Kenneth was very surprised as fear began to overtake him, but he couldn't go anywhere because Alex's men surrounded him.
"What do you want to do to me?" Kenneth asked warily.
"We'll pay you back for knocking Luke unconscious!" Kenneth walked back but it was too late because he was caught by his opponent.
“Please let me go!” Kenneth shouted after which his mouth was covered with a cloth and he was forcibly taken into the car.
"Quickly take it to the warehouse on Dahlia Street." Kenneth became even more afraid when he found out that he would be taken to an empty warehouse not long after he finally arrived.
"I want to make a video of Kenneth suffering and then send it to Alex," said the man with the largest body while directing his cell phone camera to record the moments when Kenneth was about to be taught a lesson.
“Please don't hit me! "Whatever you want to do, I promise I will obey Alex and Luke," asked Kenneth, but the bad guys didn't care and started attacking while laughing loudly.
"Shut up Kenneth, you're ruining our work you know," laughed the man while enjoying the work of his friends who looked thirsty and continued to make Kenneth groan in pain.
Kenneth lay on the ground with a face covered in bruises, even from his mouth you could see the red stains had flowed down his neck so that the poor man could only remain silent in pain.
"Now let's leave him alone here, let's go!" Kenneth could only watch as they left one by one. Not long after, his eyes even started to look blurry.
"Maybe I'll catch up with my parents!" said Kenneth with trembling lips.
Kenneth started to open his eyes while holding back the feeling of dizziness and pain throughout his body. He tried to get up while feeling his forehead and felt that there were traces of dried blood. "I have to hurry home, grandma must be feeling anxious now," he said while trying to walk with a limp. Grandma Ana waited anxiously when suddenly Kenneth heard the sound of the main door opening again but his face was covered in bruises which shocked him. "I am home! "Sorry for being late coming home," said Kenneth and then just walked in. “What happened to you? Why is your face so battered like this, Kenneth?" asked Grandma Ana while framing the handsome man's face with both hands. "I?" Kenneth hasn't explained yet, but Grandma Ana seems to already know that the cause of the wounds on her face were Luke and his brother. "They are the ones who did this so that you suffer again with these injuries." Kenneth rolled his eyes lazily and then invited his grandmother to sit down because
The two teenagers both shook their heads in confusion at the current situation and then they both chose to leave to look for food and drink. Grandma Ana had been watching Kenneth and Leon until they completely disappeared on the busy highway when suddenly an uninvited guest appeared, a tall, well-built man wearing all black clothes approached her. "Good afternoon, Grandma Ana. We haven't seen each other for a long time!" said Arthur while taking off his sunglasses and smiling kindly. "You've finally come, Arthur. Is this a sign that Master Jason has given orders to pick up his son?" asked Grandma Ana, a little surprised by the man's appearance. "Not yet," Arthur answered casually and walked into the house. "I haven't let you in yet Arthur!" Grandma Ana followed the man and sat in front of him. "I want to ask how Mr. Kenneth is doing now?" Arthur asked, ignoring Grandma Ana's words as he looked around the living room, which was far from luxurious. "His situation is very bad, ever
Jason immediately opened his mouth in disbelief after reading the name listed in the message Arthur sent. "Impossible?! How could this happen that Kenneth is friends with his own mortal enemy?'' Jason felt shocked and slumped in his chair. "But if the last name alone cannot be used as proof that Luke is Aldrich's son, Arthur must find out more information for Kenneth's safety," said Jason, trying to remain calm. Jason gave Arthur another order while massaging his forehead because he felt that it didn't make sense for the game that had been avoided for the sake of Kenneth's future while the results of his suspicions were currently around his son. "I will do my best for the safety of the future heir to the Richard family," muttered Arthur, without wasting time, immediately looking for archives regarding Luke on his computer. "Kenneth, I won't let you do whatever you want!" Luke grabbed the hem of his collar and pushed him until he pressed against the wall, making the young man un
Arthur smiled while driving his car, imagining how disappointed Luke would be because his plans for this afternoon had failed. "Just take it slow, Mr. Arthur will be here soon!" explained Kenneth. "Oh yeah?" Arthur put on a confused face, pretending he didn't know where Ana's grandmother lived. "That's my house." Kenneth pointed to a small house and saw grandmother Ana on the terrace watching Arthur's car. "Arthur?" said grandmother Ana, approaching the car, almost cursing because she was annoyed with Jason but decided not to because Kenneth was with her. "Grandma, Kenneth is home," he said. “Who are you going home with Kenneth?” Grandma Ana asked, pretending to be confused. "Introducing my new lecturer on campus, his name is Mr. Arthur, who is kind and cares about his students," explained Kenneth enthusiastically. "Then invite him into the house, treat him well and give him something to drink, maybe you need to talk to him about a lot of things," said Grandma Ana, glancing at
Arthur headed to the campus archives because many of the lecturers were not in this afternoon, leaving him free to look for information about Luke and Alex. Don't forget to keep the two brothers busy in the library so there won't be time to disturb Kenneth during this break. “Here we meet!” Arthur stopped the movement of his hands, sorting the files one by one. Alex and Luke's complete data has been found and immediately took the picture and sent it to Jason. Since then, Kenneth has been waiting patiently for Arthur until the last class on campus is over. "Can we talk for a moment sir?" Kenneth asked as he approached Arthur towards him. "Please Kenneth," replied Arthur happily. "Why have you been paying too much attention to me all this time?" he asked directly. "Of course I care because you are my student," replied Arthur firmly, looking sharply at Kenneth in front of him. "Only that?" Kenneth asked with emphasis. "Yes." Kenneth swallowed, feeling disappointed because of the
"We're talking about the Richard family's big enemy, Aldrich," answered grandmother Ana. "I don't know that name." Kenneth shook his head. "Then what are the names of Luke and Alex's parents who are campus donors?" asked Arthur. "No one knows his father's name. I have only heard rumors and the campus supports that Luke and Alex have a big influence as the highest financial contributors," explained Kenneth. "If his name is kept secret, it would be strange," thought Arthur silently. Kenneth waited for an explanation but everyone seemed silent and busy with their own thoughts. "So why do Grandma Ana and Mr. Arthur look so Arab?" Kenneth asked again, his face looked very curious. "Didn't grandma tell you that if you have a relationship with the Richard family, that means stay away from anyone connected with the name Aldrich," explained Grandma Ana. Arthur looked confused at Grandma Ana because he heard her explanation so openly even though he didn't even have the courage to tell Ke
At a restaurant not far from Ana's grandmother's house, at one of the tables, two people were having a serious discussion and even the drinks that had been served had not been touched since earlier. “There's no way this could happen. Could it be that Grandma Ana has brainwashed Kenneth?" Arthur asked suspiciously. "Watch your mouth, I can't do it!" Ana's grandmother refused. "Certain?" Grandma Ana glared. "I'm annoyed with Mr. Jason for abandoning Kenneth but I won't make them stay away from each other so don't think badly," concluded Grandma Ana. "I will convey this matter to Mr. Jason." Arthur took a deep breath. Grandma Ana immediately went home after explaining Kenneth's reaction to Richard, who was supposed to be his family, hoping that Mr. Jason would intervene to solve the problem himself. "Where are you from, Grandma?" asked Kenneth, already standing near the door. "Why haven't you fallen asleep yet?" Kenneth turned his face to look at the clock on the wall. "It's not
“So Richard's family didn't make an official announcement about who the missing boy really was?” Alex asked. "Not yet. "The media only reports news without evidence, not even photos," answered Luke. They looked at each other as if they had the same plan. “Then why did we refrain from hitting Kenneth?” Alex clasped his hands into fists in front of Luke's face. “Your hands must be tingling.” Alex got up from his seat and started the action with Luke, who couldn't stand still without disturbing Kenneth. "What do you want Luke?" Kenneth asked, looking at Luke and Alex alternately. "I'm still really curious about why the lecturer told us to respect you even though you were just the poorest student until now," said Luke while observing the appearance of dozens of Kenneth. "I don't know," answered Kenneth, making Alex hit the table hard in a show of emotion. "Answer seriously, don't irritate me, Kenneth!" Alex shouted louder and the whole class was very shocked. “Stop it. Nothing sho
