Kenneth started to open his eyes while holding back the feeling of dizziness and pain throughout his body. He tried to get up while feeling his forehead and felt that there were traces of dried blood.
"I have to hurry home, grandma must be feeling anxious now," he said while trying to walk with a limp.
Grandma Ana waited anxiously when suddenly Kenneth heard the sound of the main door opening again but his face was covered in bruises which shocked him.
"I am home! "Sorry for being late coming home," said Kenneth and then just walked in.
“What happened to you? Why is your face so battered like this, Kenneth?" asked Grandma Ana while framing the handsome man's face with both hands.
"I?" Kenneth hasn't explained yet, but Grandma Ana seems to already know that the cause of the wounds on her face were Luke and his brother.
"They are the ones who did this so that you suffer again with these injuries." Kenneth rolled his eyes lazily and then invited his grandmother to sit down because he wanted to tell her the truth.
"Actually, I hit Alex first until he fainted," said Kenneth seriously.
"So you dare to hit him first?" Ana's grandmother was happy because Kenneth had succeeded in showing that he could fight.
“Yes, but I should receive more terrible retribution for that.” Grandma Ana smiled then took the medicine box.
"It's okay now, let grandma give you medicine to make your face better," asked grandma Ana.
"Grandma is slowly getting sick," he said softly. Grandma Ana nodded, her hands were very dexterous in treating Kenneth's wounds.
"You shouldn't deserve this bad treatment, Kenneth, because you are richer than them," said Grandma Ana, surprising the poor man.
"What do you mean Grandma?" Kenneth asked curiously. Grandma Ana took a deep breath, maybe it would be okay if she told a little about Kenneth's true identity.
“Do you know the rich Richard family?” Kenneth nodded his head who didn't know the richest family in his city.
"The Richard family, which owns the largest property business in this city, all have the hope of being able to work in their company where the salaries are well known, including me," explained Kenneth, full of hope.
“That is definitely because you are the son of the Richard family!” Kenneth immediately glared, not believing what Grandma Ana had just said.
"Grandma loves to joke," joked Kenneth.
"Grandma is not kidding!" Grandma Ana answered louder.
"Grandma, don't be angry, I just don't think this conversation is serious because it's like the imagination of someone who wants to get rich quickly." Grandma Ana looked annoyed and immediately closed the medicine box.
“Looks like you've recovered now quickly take some painkillers and go to sleep! You don't have to go to college tomorrow if you're still sick!” Grandma Ana asked as she stood up and then walked away, leaving Kenneth.
"But my face still hurts a lot, Grandma! Help me treat my pain first!” Kenneth whined but Grandma Ana didn't want to care and went into her room. Kenneth reflected and regretted thinking that his grandmother was joking even though this fifty year old woman had never lied to him.
"Mr. Jason should have met his son and explained that Kenneth's life should not be like this," said grandmother Ana, annoyed because she saw that the boy who was supposed to live safely and be rich was actually feeling pain because he was underestimated as a poor person.
On the other hand, Jason Statham and his wife were sitting at the same dining table in silence with each other, busy thinking about their respective problems that had happened recently which disturbed their minds.
"I really don't approve of you going abroad tomorrow because you haven't met Kenneth and seen him in person. What kind of father would have the heart to let a biological child live with an old grandmother for almost eighteen years?” said Clarissa irritably.
"I'm not ready, Clarissa, just like Kenneth," Jason said, making Clarissa glance sharply, showing the emotions that were burning in her eyes.
"It means?" Jason grabbed his wife's hand and held it tightly, hoping that Clarissa wouldn't be angry and prevent him from leaving to work abroad for a week.
"Sorry Clarissa," he whispered softly.
"Jason, you should meet our son first before going abroad because my gut feeling as his mother says that Kenneth is not well!" explained Clarissa.
"But I still have work tonight and I think it will be very busy so I won't be able to Clarissa." Clarissa exhaled roughly while continuing to stare intently at her husband.
"I shouldn't have agreed when you took little Kenneth away from this house if in the end he couldn't come back," added Clarissa.
"Okay, I'll take the time to see it tomorrow morning before I go to the airport," replied Jason obediently.
For the sake of his wife, Jason fulfilled his promise to see Kenneth's condition, but when he was about to get out of the car, a call from his subordinate made him have to drive the car back to the airport.
"Please tell my assistant to monitor Kenneth's condition more intensively and accurately and then report the results to me as quickly as possible!" Jason ordered his driver.
"Okay sir!" Jason felt uneasy because he had decided not to meet Kenneth.
"Kenneth, how are you? "I heard that Alex's men took you to an abandoned warehouse and beat you up?" Leon asked feeling worried.
"I'm better, but today I didn't go to campus because someone was still sick." Leon was relieved to see his friend.
"I want to defend you, Kenneth, but the campus doesn't consider my ramblings because my family's wealth is below that of Luke and Alex's family. They have more power on campus and industry in this city.” Kenneth nodded his face looking discouraged now after hearing the bad news just now.
"So my scholarship will be revoked, huh?" Kenneth's face looked so disappointed.
"Don't be disappointed, Kenneth, higher education will definitely come your way in the future." Grandma Ana hugged Kenneth from behind so that the poor man wouldn't be too sad.
"Grandma must be disappointed in me, right?" Grandma Ana immediately pulled her body to look at Kenneth's face.
"How could grandma be disappointed with you who dared to fight those two evil brothers and made one of them faint," continued Grandma Ana, smiling.
"But my scholarship will be revoked, Grandma," explained Kenneth.
“It's okay because grandma has the money to pay for it so don't worry about it.” Kenneth felt strange and looked at Leon, who also looked confused about where Ana's grandmother got the money to pay for her college education so expensively.
"Let grandma make a drink for Leon and talk as much as you like with Kenneth so that his heart will be happy again," said grandma Ana as she got up and disappeared through the middle door that led to the kitchen. The elderly woman felt nervous because the two young men in front of her made strange faces when looking at her.
"Lately, Grandma Ana always says things that are difficult for me to understand, Leon." Kenneth looked seriously at Leon.
"I think Ana's grandmother is old, Kenneth, maybe she is experiencing memory loss because all this time she has been so strong in earning a living just for you alone that her thoughts are affecting her," replied Leon so that things didn't feel even more confusing.
The two teenagers both shook their heads in confusion at the current situation and then they both chose to leave to look for food and drink. Grandma Ana had been watching Kenneth and Leon until they completely disappeared on the busy highway when suddenly an uninvited guest appeared, a tall, well-built man wearing all black clothes approached her. "Good afternoon, Grandma Ana. We haven't seen each other for a long time!" said Arthur while taking off his sunglasses and smiling kindly. "You've finally come, Arthur. Is this a sign that Master Jason has given orders to pick up his son?" asked Grandma Ana, a little surprised by the man's appearance. "Not yet," Arthur answered casually and walked into the house. "I haven't let you in yet Arthur!" Grandma Ana followed the man and sat in front of him. "I want to ask how Mr. Kenneth is doing now?" Arthur asked, ignoring Grandma Ana's words as he looked around the living room, which was far from luxurious. "His situation is very bad, ever
Jason immediately opened his mouth in disbelief after reading the name listed in the message Arthur sent. "Impossible?! How could this happen that Kenneth is friends with his own mortal enemy?'' Jason felt shocked and slumped in his chair. "But if the last name alone cannot be used as proof that Luke is Aldrich's son, Arthur must find out more information for Kenneth's safety," said Jason, trying to remain calm. Jason gave Arthur another order while massaging his forehead because he felt that it didn't make sense for the game that had been avoided for the sake of Kenneth's future while the results of his suspicions were currently around his son. "I will do my best for the safety of the future heir to the Richard family," muttered Arthur, without wasting time, immediately looking for archives regarding Luke on his computer. "Kenneth, I won't let you do whatever you want!" Luke grabbed the hem of his collar and pushed him until he pressed against the wall, making the young man un
Arthur smiled while driving his car, imagining how disappointed Luke would be because his plans for this afternoon had failed. "Just take it slow, Mr. Arthur will be here soon!" explained Kenneth. "Oh yeah?" Arthur put on a confused face, pretending he didn't know where Ana's grandmother lived. "That's my house." Kenneth pointed to a small house and saw grandmother Ana on the terrace watching Arthur's car. "Arthur?" said grandmother Ana, approaching the car, almost cursing because she was annoyed with Jason but decided not to because Kenneth was with her. "Grandma, Kenneth is home," he said. “Who are you going home with Kenneth?” Grandma Ana asked, pretending to be confused. "Introducing my new lecturer on campus, his name is Mr. Arthur, who is kind and cares about his students," explained Kenneth enthusiastically. "Then invite him into the house, treat him well and give him something to drink, maybe you need to talk to him about a lot of things," said Grandma Ana, glancing at
Arthur headed to the campus archives because many of the lecturers were not in this afternoon, leaving him free to look for information about Luke and Alex. Don't forget to keep the two brothers busy in the library so there won't be time to disturb Kenneth during this break. “Here we meet!” Arthur stopped the movement of his hands, sorting the files one by one. Alex and Luke's complete data has been found and immediately took the picture and sent it to Jason. Since then, Kenneth has been waiting patiently for Arthur until the last class on campus is over. "Can we talk for a moment sir?" Kenneth asked as he approached Arthur towards him. "Please Kenneth," replied Arthur happily. "Why have you been paying too much attention to me all this time?" he asked directly. "Of course I care because you are my student," replied Arthur firmly, looking sharply at Kenneth in front of him. "Only that?" Kenneth asked with emphasis. "Yes." Kenneth swallowed, feeling disappointed because of the
"We're talking about the Richard family's big enemy, Aldrich," answered grandmother Ana. "I don't know that name." Kenneth shook his head. "Then what are the names of Luke and Alex's parents who are campus donors?" asked Arthur. "No one knows his father's name. I have only heard rumors and the campus supports that Luke and Alex have a big influence as the highest financial contributors," explained Kenneth. "If his name is kept secret, it would be strange," thought Arthur silently. Kenneth waited for an explanation but everyone seemed silent and busy with their own thoughts. "So why do Grandma Ana and Mr. Arthur look so Arab?" Kenneth asked again, his face looked very curious. "Didn't grandma tell you that if you have a relationship with the Richard family, that means stay away from anyone connected with the name Aldrich," explained Grandma Ana. Arthur looked confused at Grandma Ana because he heard her explanation so openly even though he didn't even have the courage to tell Ke
At a restaurant not far from Ana's grandmother's house, at one of the tables, two people were having a serious discussion and even the drinks that had been served had not been touched since earlier. “There's no way this could happen. Could it be that Grandma Ana has brainwashed Kenneth?" Arthur asked suspiciously. "Watch your mouth, I can't do it!" Ana's grandmother refused. "Certain?" Grandma Ana glared. "I'm annoyed with Mr. Jason for abandoning Kenneth but I won't make them stay away from each other so don't think badly," concluded Grandma Ana. "I will convey this matter to Mr. Jason." Arthur took a deep breath. Grandma Ana immediately went home after explaining Kenneth's reaction to Richard, who was supposed to be his family, hoping that Mr. Jason would intervene to solve the problem himself. "Where are you from, Grandma?" asked Kenneth, already standing near the door. "Why haven't you fallen asleep yet?" Kenneth turned his face to look at the clock on the wall. "It's not
“So Richard's family didn't make an official announcement about who the missing boy really was?” Alex asked. "Not yet. "The media only reports news without evidence, not even photos," answered Luke. They looked at each other as if they had the same plan. “Then why did we refrain from hitting Kenneth?” Alex clasped his hands into fists in front of Luke's face. “Your hands must be tingling.” Alex got up from his seat and started the action with Luke, who couldn't stand still without disturbing Kenneth. "What do you want Luke?" Kenneth asked, looking at Luke and Alex alternately. "I'm still really curious about why the lecturer told us to respect you even though you were just the poorest student until now," said Luke while observing the appearance of dozens of Kenneth. "I don't know," answered Kenneth, making Alex hit the table hard in a show of emotion. "Answer seriously, don't irritate me, Kenneth!" Alex shouted louder and the whole class was very shocked. “Stop it. Nothing sho
Richard's family's car was already rolling down the road towards the most famous shopping center in the city of Grazz."I really hope that at this first meeting we can have fun and our relationship will become closer," said Clarissa, daring to touch Kenneth's arm as they got out of the car together."Yes, ma'am," answered Kenneth uncertainly as he felt Clarissa's hand wrap around his arm slowly getting tighter. In the shopping center, everyone looked at Clarissa, who was known to be young, beautiful and rich as the wife of the most successful property entrepreneur of this century, who was seen holding a beautiful young man without feeling awkward at all, which certainly made people curious."Could it be that I saw Kenneth walking with a beautiful woman named Clarissa Richard?" Elena watched without blinking as she dropped the shopping bag without realizing it hit her own foot."My leg hurts so this isn't a dream and Kenneth is a member of the Richard family," said Elena, wanting to sc
