Arthur headed to the campus archives because many of the lecturers were not in this afternoon, leaving him free to look for information about Luke and Alex. Don't forget to keep the two brothers busy in the library so there won't be time to disturb Kenneth during this break.
“Here we meet!” Arthur stopped the movement of his hands, sorting the files one by one. Alex and Luke's complete data has been found and immediately took the picture and sent it to Jason.
Since then, Kenneth has been waiting patiently for Arthur until the last class on campus is over.
"Can we talk for a moment sir?" Kenneth asked as he approached Arthur towards him.
"Please Kenneth," replied Arthur happily.
"Why have you been paying too much attention to me all this time?" he asked directly.
"Of course I care because you are my student," replied Arthur firmly, looking sharply at Kenneth in front of him.
"Only that?" Kenneth asked with emphasis.
"Yes." Kenneth swallowed, feeling disappointed because of the answer Arthur gave him.
"Why did Grandma Ana lie?" Kenneth asked himself, his hands clenched into fists in annoyance because he believed too much in his grandmother's unreasonable words. Arthur suddenly felt anxious seeing the situation and the look on Kenneth's face.
"What is it? Did something happen or did I say something wrong?” Arthur asked while holding Kenneth's arm.
"Let me go?!" Kenneth got rid of his lecturer's touch very quickly and roughly.
"You must be tired then come with me for lunch and drink cold fruit juice and then I'll take you home!" asked Arthur.
"No! I can go home alone and have a good afternoon," said Kenneth firmly then turned around, leaving Arthur alone. Arthur saw Kenneth's fingers clenched into fists holding back his emotional desire and walked quickly away from him without turning his head even once.
"What's wrong with that kid? Hasn't he been obeying me these past few days?" confused Arthur.
Luke and Alex had followed Kenneth, waiting for the right time to play the afternoon drama which would be as hot as the sun.
"I'll stop Arthur, you take care of Kenneth!" Alex ordered to divide the tasks with his brother.
"Okay," answered Luke.
Luke brought his friend to block Arthur, who was secretly following Kenneth. The two brothers for several days watched Arthur's movements, who seemed to be guarding Kenneth from a distance, always appearing at the right time as a hero for him.
"Why does Mr. Arthur walk home?" Luke asked while playing with the wooden block in his hand.
"Because I want to go somewhere without using my car," Arthur answered, looking at Luke who was threatening him.
"Not because you want to look after Kenneth?" Arthur realized that traces of his young master were gone.
"What do you want?" asked Arthur.
Kenneth walked without suspecting that he was being followed by Alex and his friend, grumbling and scolding Grandma Ana and regretting his courage to ask Arthur about the proper attention given by lecturers to their students.
"I shouldn't have been rude to Mr. Arthur just because I was disappointed that his presence had nothing to do with the Richard family, this makes me embarrassed," said Kenneth while kicking small stones scattered on the road.
Suddenly, mysteriously, small stones came hitting his feet. Kenneth suddenly looked up and saw Alex.
“Alex?” he said, gaping.
"For the past few days my fingers have felt stiff due to lack of exercise in punching other people's cheeks," said Alex, making an evil smile as he got closer to Kenneth.
Kenneth felt scared as if he was being approached by the angel of death who was ready to take his life. He saw his legs shaking and wanting to escape, but it was too late, his path was now surrounded.
"Why is the substitute lecturer so nice to you, Kenneth? "I even had a hard time torturing you as a poor lowly student," mocked Alex.
"You even dared to hit me until I passed out," added Alex and then punched Kenneth in the face until he fell to the ground. Kenneth hissed in pain, the corners of his lips leaking fresh blood from his jaw like a high-voltage electric shock that could not be avoided.
“I like giving you extra lessons like now.” Alex cruelly ordered his friend to hold Kenneth's body so he couldn't move.
“Luke said he wanted to hit your leg with a baseball bat. I'll do it now.'' Alex swung his wand aiming at Kenneth's shaking legs.
"My history is finished," thought Kenneth, closing his eyes in fear, feeling that his fate was hanging in the balance.
“Stop it!” shouted Arthur suddenly appearing with wounds all over his face.
"You?! Didn't Luke beat you up?" Alex was shocked to think that his brother had beaten Arthur up.
"I'm not that weak," Arthur defended.
"Stop where you are or I will ask my father to revoke your job at campus," he threatened, but Arthur just smiled at Alex's threat just now.
"Stupid brat. I am not afraid." Arthur then beats Alex's friends brutally and without mercy. Alex was very surprised to see Arthur's extraordinary martial arts skills. So quickly his men were defeated.
"This is impossible?" Alex saw Arthur fighting until he hit his head, releasing red liquid, but instead of fainting, his lecturer opened his eyes even wider and attacked again.
"Mr Arthur, that's enough! Stop it! Can you finish them?!” Kenneth shouted seeing his lecturer's back getting hit hard.
“You poor useless man! "You should be the one who is battered, not Mr. Arthur," cursed Alex.
“Stop it! Just hit me, Alex.'' Kenneth stood in front of Alex. The situation became increasingly difficult, Alex became bored and annoyed and just left his friend who was in pain.
"The game isn't over yet, I will forever make that poor loser suffer," whispered Alex. Kenneth helps Arthur take him home so grandma Ana can tend to his cuts and bruises.
"Sick! "Please treat it slowly," complained Arthur when Grandma Ana touched a cold towel to the bruises on his face.
"Don't shout if you're noisy, I'll have a hard time treating your wound," asked Grandma Ana
Kenneth saw that the closeness between Ana Deng Arthur's grandmother looked strange and made him suspicious
"Why does Grandma Ana act like she's known Mr. Arthur for a long time?" Kenneth thought to himself.
"Next time you call for help, don't fight it yourself," said grandmother Ana as if she was scolding her granddaughter.
"I can handle it myself. Yes, just let me go to the hospital, don't treat me." Suddenly, Ana's grandmother gave her a disapproving look.
"Don't be a hero who oversleep, the strength of these children is beyond your predictions. Can you imagine how mentally Kenneth must have had problems with them all this time?" Arthur was silent, remembering something he found this morning.
“The losers are Alex and Luke. Does grandma know their father's name?” asked Arthur.
"I don't know," answered Grandma Ana curtly.
"I saw Aldrich's name in the student data?" Grandma Ana was shocked until her movements stopped and looked seriously at Arthur.
"You mean Aldrich actually knows where Kenneth is?" Grandma Ana's voice sounded shaky.
"I don't know, everything is hard to predict," Arthur answered softly.
"What are Grandma and Mr. Arthur talking about?" Kenneth asked, coming out of his hiding place feeling curious.
"We're talking about the Richard family's big enemy, Aldrich," answered grandmother Ana. "I don't know that name." Kenneth shook his head. "Then what are the names of Luke and Alex's parents who are campus donors?" asked Arthur. "No one knows his father's name. I have only heard rumors and the campus supports that Luke and Alex have a big influence as the highest financial contributors," explained Kenneth. "If his name is kept secret, it would be strange," thought Arthur silently. Kenneth waited for an explanation but everyone seemed silent and busy with their own thoughts. "So why do Grandma Ana and Mr. Arthur look so Arab?" Kenneth asked again, his face looked very curious. "Didn't grandma tell you that if you have a relationship with the Richard family, that means stay away from anyone connected with the name Aldrich," explained Grandma Ana. Arthur looked confused at Grandma Ana because he heard her explanation so openly even though he didn't even have the courage to tell Ke
At a restaurant not far from Ana's grandmother's house, at one of the tables, two people were having a serious discussion and even the drinks that had been served had not been touched since earlier. “There's no way this could happen. Could it be that Grandma Ana has brainwashed Kenneth?" Arthur asked suspiciously. "Watch your mouth, I can't do it!" Ana's grandmother refused. "Certain?" Grandma Ana glared. "I'm annoyed with Mr. Jason for abandoning Kenneth but I won't make them stay away from each other so don't think badly," concluded Grandma Ana. "I will convey this matter to Mr. Jason." Arthur took a deep breath. Grandma Ana immediately went home after explaining Kenneth's reaction to Richard, who was supposed to be his family, hoping that Mr. Jason would intervene to solve the problem himself. "Where are you from, Grandma?" asked Kenneth, already standing near the door. "Why haven't you fallen asleep yet?" Kenneth turned his face to look at the clock on the wall. "It's not
“So Richard's family didn't make an official announcement about who the missing boy really was?” Alex asked. "Not yet. "The media only reports news without evidence, not even photos," answered Luke. They looked at each other as if they had the same plan. “Then why did we refrain from hitting Kenneth?” Alex clasped his hands into fists in front of Luke's face. “Your hands must be tingling.” Alex got up from his seat and started the action with Luke, who couldn't stand still without disturbing Kenneth. "What do you want Luke?" Kenneth asked, looking at Luke and Alex alternately. "I'm still really curious about why the lecturer told us to respect you even though you were just the poorest student until now," said Luke while observing the appearance of dozens of Kenneth. "I don't know," answered Kenneth, making Alex hit the table hard in a show of emotion. "Answer seriously, don't irritate me, Kenneth!" Alex shouted louder and the whole class was very shocked. “Stop it. Nothing sho
Richard's family's car was already rolling down the road towards the most famous shopping center in the city of Grazz."I really hope that at this first meeting we can have fun and our relationship will become closer," said Clarissa, daring to touch Kenneth's arm as they got out of the car together."Yes, ma'am," answered Kenneth uncertainly as he felt Clarissa's hand wrap around his arm slowly getting tighter. In the shopping center, everyone looked at Clarissa, who was known to be young, beautiful and rich as the wife of the most successful property entrepreneur of this century, who was seen holding a beautiful young man without feeling awkward at all, which certainly made people curious."Could it be that I saw Kenneth walking with a beautiful woman named Clarissa Richard?" Elena watched without blinking as she dropped the shopping bag without realizing it hit her own foot."My leg hurts so this isn't a dream and Kenneth is a member of the Richard family," said Elena, wanting to sc
"You look amazing even if I were a girl I would definitely have a crush on you Kenneth!" Leon praised seeing his best friend look so handsome, it really felt like a dream come true."Don't overdo it because you are a man," said Kenneth, laughing.Clarissa was so happy to see the beauty of her son's smile that she wanted to cry after being apart for so long, unfortunately Jason couldn't take part in the event."Please sit down and enjoy all the dishes," said Clarissa, making those present take their respective chairs one by one.Clarissa ordered a lot of expensive food which amazed Kenneth until his saliva dripped. There were large sea fish and crabs that he had never seen before."Let's eat! Why do you only see Kenneth?" Clarissa asked attentively, taking food for her son."There's no need to bother because I can take it myself," said Kenneth, seeing that his plate already contained a lot of food."I really don't feel bothered because you are my son," Clarissa answered firmly.Grandma
"I thought Kenneth would be easy to manage as long as he had the money and all the facilities, but what happened was that he acted beyond my expectations and is causing problems now." Jason ruffled his hair in frustration after getting a call from Clarissa about the news of her failure to introduce Kenneth to journalists.Arthur also gave the same news, of course Jason had to act on his son as soon as possible before it was too late. He was worried that Aldrich would take advantage of this bad situation to enter Kenneth's life as a savior and influence him to hate Richard's family.“Don't let that happen. This time I will make sure you return to me as the heir to the Richard family.” Jason promised himself. The plane carrying Jason had arrived at the destination country as soon as possible and headed to Ana's grandmother's place to meet Kenneth."Where's the child?" Jason asked without further ado, making the atmosphere at Grandma Ana's residence tense. The look in Jason's eyes caught
Sinclair was holding a photo very tightly looking at it as if he wanted to smash it until nothing remained."I don't need to be afraid because you let him grow up to just be a house cat, it will be very easy to get the little man and eliminate him according to my past plans, but first we will play around first," said Sinclair with all his ambition to eliminate Richard's descendants.Sinclair pretends to be a weak man and plans to approach Kenneth who is alone in the campus park, but Arthur has sent a spy and also asks Leon for help to look after Kenneth."I will always look after Kenneth, sir, because he is not only a friend but my best friend," said Leon then hung up the phone from Arthur.Leon immediately looked for his best friend who was sitting next to a man with a mustache wearing reading glasses and looking suspicious."Even small children and people who appear weak always have tricks to harm others so don't trust anyone." Leon suddenly remembered everything Arthur had said whe
I'm not a child. Why do you always lie and make strange requests, dad?" Kenneth's protest feels mocked."I'm not lying because Aldrich is still eyeing you until this moment it is impossible to let it happen." Kenneth was furious because he thought his father was acting back in annoyance and woke up wanting to leave Jason alone in the room. But his steps stopped considering that Leon's father's company could go bankrupt at any time without financial assistance from Jason."Alright if you don't want to, but you are very sorry to let you live without knowing my whereabouts and Clarissa. I want to apologize all this time for letting you grow in distress and poverty. " Jason stood staring sadly at the back of his son who was going to leave.Kenneth felt his chest was pounding thinking about the chaos of his own family."If my treasures could be exchanged for your presence at our house, Kenneth, unfortunately, my father was too late and could only beg your apologies," Jason repeated persuad
