Reason For Loss

Jacob did not know what time it was, he felt as if he was waiting the entire day before two men dragged him back out and took him to a different office.

Inside he saw his brothers standing by a desk with the throne-like office chair turned away from him.

John and Ying stood to the side as they sneered at Jacob.

For some reason it seemed that they were angrier at him than earlier.

“Brothers.” Jacob grunted a greeting as he was forced to sit on a stool in the center of the room.

“How dare you call us your brothers?” Manuel spat bitterly. “Not only did you risk the family but you’ve been making feelings that could have placed us all in prison.”

“You can’t call us your brothers Jacob, you lost that right!” Miguel shouted.

He walked up to Jacob and punched Jacob, making him fall to the ground.

The guards quickly picked Jacob up and placed him back on his seat.

“Be careful with the carpet.” A familiar voice hissed, making Jacob turn his attention towards the chair.
