Telling Amalia

“Brother, you called me over?” Amalia asked as she entered Stephen’s study.

She was quite surprised when Vanessa welcomed her with a smile, but Amalia could see a hint of sadness in her eyes.

Amalia couldn’t help but wonder if the couple had fought.

“Your wife said I could find you here and she told me to just come in.” Amalia told her brother as she walked over to Stephen.

She could see that he was buried in work. His desk was full of various documents and his laptop was opened to the side.

“Yeah, sit.” Stephen told her as he kept his eyes on the documents before him.

Amalia frowned at her brother’s behavior, she didn’t expect him to be like this today.

“Are you and Vanessa fighting?”

Stephen looked up at Amalia in shock. He didn’t think that his sister would be quick to jump to the conclusion that what was bothering him was a relationship problem.
