53. Mason’s Threat

What happened at Dominic’s residence undoubtedly reached Kalix’s ears. As someone involved, the police would surely keep him informed of the situation. Even if not, Kalix had other ways to gather that information.

His mind system was also linked to the surveillance cameras at the police station, a connection established when he visited there last night.

Only after reading the police notice did Kalix enter Iann’s care room. Eugene was there, engaged in conversation with Iann, and Carl had just joined them.
