Part 4

Welcome back, Young Master," greeted a man leading a line of muscular and imposing men. They looked impeccably organized, displaying dedication and pre-programmed teachings.

Xavier offered a warm smile. It had been a long time since he had seen his subordinates.

The man nodded slowly, acknowledging the greetings from his subordinates, represented by their leader, Zeyn.

"Zeyn, is everything in order?" Xavier inquired, looking at the man who was gradually straightening his posture.

Zeyn, the leader of the group, nodded firmly, confirming the inquiry from his superior. "Everyone is present, Young Master. I've made sure everyone is here, and not a single person is missing."

Xavier smiled again before turning around.

He reached into his shirt pocket, pulling out a card, which he then tapped on the detector at the door. Automatically, after processing the ID card, the grand door swung wide open.

Xavier stepped inside his long-abandoned, majestic house. Even though unoccupied, he hired people to clean it every morning. As they entered, the grand and pristine atmosphere welcomed them.

His subordinates walked in an orderly fashion behind him. Some stopped at the door to ensure privacy within the house.

Without waiting for orders, Xavier's subordinates immediately began their respective tasks.

Observing this, Xavier felt pleased with his choice of Zeyn as the leader of his subordinates.

For a moment, Xavier reminisced about the long-forgotten house. Everything in it remained the same in structure and content, but this time, Xavier returned with a different status—no longer a husband but now bearing the title of a widower.

A long exhale escaped Xavier's mouth as he walked towards the living room, choosing to rest there.

His subordinates followed him, maintaining their disciplined formation.

"Everything is tightly guarded and under full supervision, Young Master. I assure you, not a single item of yours is scratched or damaged," Zeyn respectfully informed.

Xavier nodded, seeing tangible evidence of the man's words.

"Apologies, Young Master. My question may sound audacious, but I'd like to inquire about your well-being. Is everything okay?" Zeyn, who knew Xavier well, couldn't believe his superior would return to the house without facing any issues.

"Has the security of the house been under safe control, Zeyn?" Intentionally ignoring Zeyn's question, Xavier didn't mean to avoid a response; it just wasn't the right time to address that particular point.

Zeyn didn't insist on his question. He understood that an assistant shouldn't speak to their superior in such a manner without a clear invitation.

"Safe, Young Master. We check it ourselves from time to time. One of us stays here in turns with the security to ensure the house remains safe," Zeyn assured with a respectful tone.

Xavier nodded, understanding every word spoken by Zeyn.

"Oh, Young Master, I almost forgot to mention something. In the past few days, I forgot to forward an email from Elnora's boutique, expressing interest in collaboration with our company. She needs promotional exposure to boost her business further."

Zeyn's words caught Xavier's full attention.

"Are you sure about what you're saying, Zeyn?" Xavier asked, making sure his hearing wasn't playing tricks on him.

Zeyn nodded, indicating he was serious. "You can check the email yourself, Young Master, if you wish," he said, looking at Xavier with a slight bow.

Xavier, entrusting Zeyn with direct responsibilities, nodded quietly.

Zeyn turned around, and someone promptly handed a laptop bag to Xavier.

Approaching the sofa in the living room, Zeyn opened the laptop bag and placed it on the sofa, turning on the laptop to display the Windows interface. Skillfully, Zeyn operated the mouse, actively searching for something to show his superior.

After switching to the email branch from Baxier Company, created by Zeyn under Xavier's instructions, he stepped back, standing upright.

"Please, Young Master," Zeyn said, bowing slightly as a sign of respect.

While Xavier focused on the email, intentionally, in the past, he had instructed Zeyn to create another account for Baxier Company, hoping for an email from Elnora's boutique.

Given the boutique's reputation, Elnora would likely seek collaboration with Baxier Company, known for its diverse business ventures, including advertising that could make many boutiques flourish.

No one could compete with Baxier Company.

Xavier decided to elevate one of his diligent employees, Victor, to be the director of the company he had built with great effort.

ButikElnora@g***l.com

[Good afternoon, greetings to the Baxier Company. I, as the owner of Elnora Boutique, intend to collaborate with Baxier Company in its advertising department. I hope this collaboration proposal will receive a response from Baxier Company. Respectfully, Elnora.]

Not a single word escaped Xavier's gaze. He appeared intensely focused as he read every line written by Elnora—his former wife.

A faint smile appeared at the corner of his lips. No one noticed.

Foolish woman, Xavier thought inwardly.

He closed the laptop screen without turning it off, then looked at his subordinates, especially Zeyn, with a penetrating gaze.

"Since when did this email come in?" Xavier inquired, not having read the date of the sent message.

"Exactly 20 minutes ago, Young Master."

Xavier sighed, not surprised that he hadn't been aware of the email. It had just been sent by Elnora.

"I initially wanted to inform you right after this email arrived. However, considering you were on your way here and wanted to see it for yourself, I postponed it. The decision is entirely yours, Young Master."

Xavier nodded, not blaming Zeyn for his decision.

"I always keep an eye on Elnora's boutique, Young Master. As soon as there's an issue, I quickly assist in resolving it. Of course, without Elnora's knowledge and awareness."

Ko"And not to forget, we regularly provide additional support to Elnora's business, as instructed by you, Young Master."

Xavier sighed.

That woman thought she was clever, but in reality, she was the most foolish person.

Having spent a long time as Xavier's wife, she never suspected Xavier's true nature. It wasn't surprising since Elnora always focused on Xavier's shortcomings without looking any deeper.

Elnora had no idea that Xavier had been pretending to be poor and living a simple life. In truth, Xavier was a big shot in one of the largest companies in the capital.

Another fact: Elnora wouldn't be as successful as she is now without Xavier's help.
