When the master of the household finally returned home, the mansion was dead silent. Only a few lights were left to turn on, enough to light his way when he returned to his bedroom to rest. Noel was yawning behind him, exhausted from today’s work.

“Have they gone to sleep already?” Damien showed no sign of fatigue as he removed the watch from his wrist.

“It s already 11:45.” Noel loosened his tie as well and yawned for the third time. “Everyone must have rested.”

“I see.” Damien nods and removes his coat. “You should go back to bed as well. You did a great job today.”

“Thank you, sir.” Noel bows. “Then I shall leave you to rest as well. Your room has been prepared by the maids and I have asked Ash to check everything before we left earlier. You should be able to rest without trouble tonight.”

“I appreciate it. Good night.”
