CHAPTER TEN

The act that he just put up made him remember his past. Deceitful and manipulative people who thought that they could use people as much as they wanted to and thought that they were still loyal pissed him off so much.

His teeth gnashed against each other as the image that stood before him was replaced by that of the betrayer.

"But sir." Mr. Austin was about to say but he would not allow him to spit out a single word from his mouth.

"One more lie from you and I am not only going to make sure that you leave this company but you will leave this city for lying to me." He said but he decided to pretend as though he knew nothing about what Ethan was saying.

"I don't understand sir. What has to be done to get you angry?" The words on his lips shook.

"You want to Know don't you?" He inquired and the only thing that he could do was nod his head.

"Yes sir. And Also make it up to you." He replied.

Ethan nodded his head, a dark smile hovered on his lips as he loved the game that the security officer was playing With him.

"Sure." He said, Turning over to Mr. Blakes.

"Get me the head security." He noted as Mr. Austin fell to his knees to apologize but Ethan had enough of the apologizes already.

"Don't worry. I just want them to do something urgent for me."

Mr. Blake walked away and returned a few minutes later with a security officer who was finely dressed up in his uniform.

"Good day, sir." The security officer greeted with a slight bow, not knowing who Ethan was in the first place.

"So I am Ethan Nathan Geftan." He announced his identity once again.

Immediately after he said this, Mr. Blakes nodded, trying as hard as he could to avoid any more misunderstanding and the eyes of the security officer brightened.

"I am sorry sir for not greeting you properly."

"Don't worry. Human greeting is enough for me already. Unlike." Mr. Austin bowed his head in shame.

"So for what I wanted to do for me. This man is here. I want to take him away and file a case against him for dumping this company." He announced.

"Okay, sir." The security officer replied and Austin shuddered.

"But sir." He could hardly make out his words as the security officer Walked over to him and held him tightly by his hands.

"The Geftan group knows everything that goes on with the city and even if you assumed wiseness which was only stupidity was accused at first, I can no longer take it."

"If he says anything else, I am going to hold you responsible for it." Ethan turned over to the security officer who nodded his head almost immediately with so much Reverse.

His Hands gripped the mouth of Mr. Austin who tried hard to break free from his grip but his hold was too strong to break away from him

He turned over to Mr. Blakes immediately and shot a weird stare at him.

"I'm sorry about that." He Apologized to Ethan once again.

"It's okay. It's not your fault. But next time, make sure that you mind the people that you employ." He returned to him and he nodded his head.

A word rang in Ethan's head and something out of the blue seemed to strike him. Something that he was missing out on.

"You called me CEO a few moments ago. What was that supposed to mean?" He inquired.

"You don't know about it?" He inquired starting a weird look at Ethan.

"Your grandfather already transferred half of the property that he owes to your name already. And that is thirty percent of the companies in the whole of the city. And this is one of them."

"HW told me to assist you know everything. And the tech team already listed your name in the system."

Ethan's eyes brightened. He knew that his grandfather was rich but never knew that he owed sixty percent of the city's wealth.

He brought out his phone from his pocket and searched for his name and network.

"Three hundred billion dollars." It read, just beneath his grandfather making him the second richest man in the city.

His cell phone fell off from his hands as the sequence of events reflected in his head and he did not even realize that he was already gasping for breath.

"Are okay Sir. Ethan." Blake quickly picked his phone out of his pocket and handed it back to him.

"Yes, I am fine." Regaining his posture.

Thinking about the days when he was nothing other than a nobody. Now he was going to make the best out of it.

"Talking about my grandfather, I need to see him. Why was I unable to come?" Ethan Inquired staring right into the eyes of Mr. Blakes.

"Yeah, he told me that once we are done here. I should bring you to him. There is something important that you need to know about." He replied.

His voice sounded somehow off at the moment.

"Could it be that something was wrong?" He thought in his head.

"Can I get you anything, sir? The company's chef makes the best coffee." He replied as a glamorous smile appeared on his face after what seemed to be forever.

"No! I don't think that there would be any need for that. Just take me through what I need to see and take me to my grandfather." He replied.

Mr. Blakes was a little bit disappointed because that was one of the few times that he would get to see such an important personality again but he tried to push forward a smile.

He helped Ethan who was a fast learner and had knowledge about the business world already to go through everything that he needed to know and finally, he was done.

"That would be all sir. Thanks.."

"Stop, I should be the one appreciating you." Ethan stoppedH him.

His rough life had given him a sense of right judgment towards other people no matter how lowly they were.

"Now I think it's time for me to go and see my granddad right?"

"Yeah." Mr. Blakes hesitated.

"But there is a little problem." He added.
