ONE HUNDRED AND NINETEEN — CONFRONTATION

“What exactly did you intend to do, Mrs. Carmichael?” Luke asked, stalking in her direction.

“Did you honestly think you could turn my grandfather against me? Did you think he’ll reprimand me and take your side?”

Mrs Carmichael edged backwards as Luke came forward, his eyes flashing with rage.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about. Stay away from me.”

Luke paused and stared at her through hooded eyes. He almost let it out that he knew she’d planned his kidnapping as a means of planting her daughter in the George mansion.

He almost stomped to his grandfather’s room to inform him of his findings, but he forcefully held himself back. Everything will come out in due time.

For now, he gave them a menacing glare.

“Be rest assured that I know your games. I’m well versed with the twisted, evil minds of the Carmichaels. You both should better watch your backs.

Oh, and if I find out that your family is responsible for the news that’s currently spreading in any way, I’ll make sure you pay
