CHAPTER 78

Derek walked into the kiosk, but took his time to look in it's surroundings.

He still couldn't understand why Gage had brought him out to such a place.

Trastar seemed secure enough for whatever discussion they were to have.

The kiosk was decorated and arranged in outdated style.

At a mere glance, it was very obviously out of touch with current trends.

While he waited, he took his seat and beckoned to a waiter. “Is there anything to eat?”

“Just a few homemade dishes. Do you want some? I’ll go and heat them up for you.”

Derek wasn’t too bothered by whatever was sold, all he wanted was Gage's arrival and he leaves his current position.

Although he wasn’t hungry, it would be strange for him to sit there and wait for someone without ordering anything.

"That's fine, you could do it that way. Heat them up and bring them."

The waiter returned to the kitchen, and before long, he returned with different appetizers.

As expected, they were all homemade.
