183. Kill me?

All through the drive home, Liam had his gaze out of the window as he thought about all that had happened during the day.

The more he thought of it, the angrier and confused he became.

He was angry because he failed to grasp the situation in time and confused on why the deceased suddenly jumped off.

Taking a deep breath, he pushed his hand into his hair and then began to tug on it, biting his lips as he tried to shake the thought off his head but they had come to stay.

Frustration gnawing on him, he groaned, making Dave who was handling the steering wheel to turn in his direction.

“Are you alright?” Dave asked, looking over his shoulder.

“Did you find anything on the deceased?” He asked instead, focusing his attention on him.

“Yeah, he is an immigrant, nothing more.”

“I bet he isn't a staff.”

“You got that right. I’m still digging about him.” He mumbled as he cleared his throat.
