Chapter 39

"Hi, girl!" Sonia said, hugging her. She had promised to visit her, after work.

"Hey," she smiled. "Hi, Fiona," she greeted.

Sonia had come with Fiona, as she was not really sure of her address.

"Hi, sis. How are you feeling, now? And where is mom?" Fiona asked, going inside the house.

"I'm very fine. She went to get something, she will be back, soon."

She offered Sonia a glass of juice, and pancakes that she had made out of boredom. Being at home alone was really boring. "Here, I made them."

Sonia ate it to have a taste of Carina's culinary skill, and it turned out to taste great.

"How is it?" Carina asked, smiling.

"It taste," Sonia tried to make an unsatisfying face, but suck at it, and decided to come clean; "really great!"

Carina smiled, and twirled; "yippee!"

She sat next to Sonia, and told her what happened between her and Nathan.
